Go back to solid ground, scripture.
Bitterly defending your opinions is unhelpful.

would this change your mind, yes or no???

Rev 20:4 ¶ And I saw thrones, and they sat upon them, (the 144000) and judgment was given unto them: and I saw the souls of them that were beheaded for the witness of Jesus, and for the word of God (all the saints, Ps. 116:15) , and which had not worshipped the beast (Roman emperor), neither his image (the pope), neither had received his mark (his doctrines) upon their foreheads (believing them), or in their hands (excepting them); and they lived and reigned with Christ a thousand years.
I have already explained verse 5.
What is supposed to change my mind?Georg

Rev 20:4 I saw thrones on which were seated those who had been given authority to judge. And I saw the souls of those who had been beheaded because of their testimony for Jesus and because of the word of God. They had not worshiped the beast or his image and had not received his mark on their foreheads or their hands. They came to life and reigned with Christ a thousand years.
Rev 20:5 (The rest of the dead did not come to life until the thousand years were ended.) This is the first resurrection.
Rev 20:6 Blessed and holy are those who have part in the first resurrection. The second death has no power over them, but they will be priests of God and of Christ and will reign with him for a thousand yearsthis show s clearly those who will be in the millenium with Christ does it.

There is no other saviour.
What was your point?
NH.
So you don't believe this scripture?1Tim.4:9-11.
9 Faithful is the saying and worthy of all welcome
10 (for for this are we toiling and being reproached), that we rely on the living God, Who is the Saviour of all mankind, especially of believers.
11 These things be charging and teaching.NH, note verse 11
Your “eternal gospel for all” doesn't agree?
Is it wise to teach “your” gospel?
Blessings.
NH.
You previously expressed your denial of the part in verse 10…”who is the saviour all mankind”. That is 'the point'.Blessings.
December 10, 2009 at 12:38 am#163424ConstitutionalistParticipantAt the second coming 'elohim's people will be taken to heaven. IThessalonians 4:16-17, NIV. “For the Lord Himself will come down from heaven, with a loud command, with the voice of the archangel and with the trumpet call of 'elohim, and the dead in the Messiah will rise first. After that, we who are still alive and are left will be caught up with them in the clouds to meet the Lord in the air. And so we will be with the Lord forever.”
At the time of the second coming of the Messiah the wicked are overwhelmed with terror and despair. Revelation 6:16-17, NIV. “They called to the mountains and the rocks, 'Fall on us and hide us from the face of Him who sits on the throne and from the wrath of the Lamb! For the great day of their wrath has come, and who can stand?”
The leader of the wicked is destroyed with the brightness of the Messiah's coming and the rest of the wicked are killed by His sword. IIThessalonians 2:8, NIV. “And then the lawless one will be revealed, whom the Lord Yeshua HaMashiach will overthrow with the breath of his mouth and destroy by the splendor of his coming.” Revelation 19:21, NIV says, “The rest of them were killed with the sword that came out of the mouth of the rider on the horse.”
Since the righteous ascend to be with the Lord and the wicked are destroyed at His appearing, the earth stands for a time without human inhabitants. Jeremiah 4:23-25, NIV. “I looked at the earth, and it was formless and empty; and at the heavens, and their light was gone. I looked at the mountains, and they were quaking; all the hills were swaying. I looked, and there were no people; every bird in the sky had flown away.”
The wicked remain in their graves for a thousand years. Revelation 20:4-5, NIV. “['elohim's people] came to life and reigned with the Messiah a thousand years. (The rest of the dead did not come to life until the thousand years were ended.)”
While the saints are in heaven and the wicked are dead, the devil is confined to the desolate earth for 1000 years. Revelation 20:1-3, NIV. “And I saw an angel coming down out of heaven, having the key to the Abyss and holding in his hand a great chain. He seized the dragon, that ancient serpent, who is the devil, or Satan, and bound him for a thousand years. He threw him in the Abyss, and locked and sealed it over him, to keep him from deceiving the nations any more until the thousand years were ended. After that, he must be set free for a short time.”
At the close of the 1000 years the holy city of 'elohim will descend from heaven to earth. Revelation 21:1-3, NIV. “Then I saw a new heaven and a new earth, for the first heaven and the first earth had passed away, and there was no longer any sea. I saw the Holy City, the new Jerusalem, coming down out of heaven from 'elohim, prepared as a bride beautifully dressed for her husband. And I heard a loud voice from the throne saying, 'Now the dwelling of 'elohim is with men, and He will live with them. They will be His people, and 'elohim Himself will be with them and be their 'elohim.”
With the wicked resurrected and Satan released they attempt to take the city of 'elohim. Revelation 20:7-9, NIV. “When the thousand years are over, Satan will be released from his prison and will go out to deceive the nations in the four corners of the earth, Gog and Magog, to gather them for battle. In number they are like the sand of the seashore. They marched across the breadth of the earth and surrounded the camp of 'elohim's people, the city he loves.”
Then they are destroyed by hell fire. Revelation 20:9, NIV. “But fire came down from heaven and devoured them.”

I think that might be taken a little out of context.Their “labor and reproach” are not inconsistent with their having from the living 'elohim, their Messiah, even the present life (Mar 10:30 , “a hundred fold now in this time . . . with persecutions”), much more the life to come.
If 'elohim is in a sense “Messiah” of unbelievers (1Ti 2:4 , that is, is willing to be so everlastingly, and is temporally here their Preserver and Benefactor), much more of believers.
He is the Messiah of all men potentially (1Ti 1:15); of believers alone effectually.

By their own choiceDecember 10, 2009 at 5:06 pm#163588GeneBalthropParticipantTo all……….most do (NOT) understand the (POWER) of GOD to get inside our minds and effect thoughts, if GOD can overturn people in their minds and leaving them to their own reasonings without his guidance to do all unseemly thing they do, He can also (cleans them) just as easely, again i bleiive we just don not realize the extent of his POWERS. peace and love to you all…………………gene

God does not climb in your brean, and make you do what ever he wants,if this was so the sacrifice of christ is use less ,this would the devil way,if he could he would change everyone of us to is side ,so that s not tha way its works,it is the love for God and the one he send what is the way,if you have no love foe God you will have no godly understanding ,if you have a little love for god and christ you will recieve a little understanding from Gods spirit, but if you have all your hearth full of the love for God and Christ then you will recieve accordingly.December 10, 2009 at 11:28 pm#163647bananaParticipantThe love for God starts with believing his word.
