You advised TT not to rely on scripture.
You did not have to tell us you do not rely on scripture as what you say reveals that problem.NIck………They do reflect Scripture but you simply don't understand the mean of the word WORD or you would have no problem with what i have posted. As far as the understanding I have been give you have no idea of it, So your opinions is just that an opinion, which should mean nothing to none if us. Post proof not you self opinions with nothing to back it up, but just you mouth flapping in the wind. If you want to address something i have said then do it not just sit there a accuse me and others of thing, is that all you are good for here?

So what do you make of the advice of Jesus [jn6], Peter [2Peter1]and Paul[Tim] re scripture?
I guess you would have to say you have greater understanding?

being of the spirit means having the same attitude like them about the work to be done to fulfill Gods will ,and the interest of others in that regard.if this attitude is in our hearths then and only then we have the spirit of Christ and by the same means Have the spirit of God ,because Christ had the fulfillment of Gods will in is hearth alleyway to his dead,this spirit should also able us to do just that.

Look i vehemently disagree with WJ and Thinker all the time concerning the TRINITY DOCTRINE, But you know what I still respect their right to Have their own opinion and I believe WJ is a sincerer Person and so is thinker about their religion. But i just disagree with them that does (NOT) mean i Hate them or will i follow them around like i am on a hunting exposition of some kind. Nick and some cross over the line and maybe i to have at times but I hope not. Lets stick to the Posts and not get so personal. i do not know anyone unless it is trough his quotes and post,i try not to fall in the gap of personal conflicts it amount to anything Christian should do,so leave it alone ,ignore it is the best action,it prevent to create a culture in you.just think we are before our Father he is looking ,and it is not for us to push or to convince of anything

It is all about Faith brother and sisters. Not about how much Knowledge we have. Nevertheless we should be growing in both knowledge and GRACE. The FATHER hears the Prayers of Faith. Knowledge Alone, will not deliver us only the FATHER WILL> IMO

this is very true, but knowledge tell us who he is and how to worship him.
many recieved miracles in Jesus time and not understanding the meaning of them,only later after his dead then things were open .G,
So what of the gnostic knowledge you offer as an alternative to scripture?
What possible validity can your own ideas have?Rely on scripture.

Nick………There you go twisting what is said again. Jesus said Mat 24:5 …> For many shall come in (MY) name Saying I am Christ and shall deceive many. (Another) words preaching Christ they will deceive people.
Mat 7:22 Many will say to me in that day, Lord, Lord, have we not prophesied in (THY NAME) and in (THY NAME) have cast out devils? and in (THY NAME) done many wonderful works. 23..> and this will i profess unto them, I never Knew you: depart from me, ye that work iniquity.
Do you see the problem here (they were doing it in Jesus' name < Not in the name of GOD the FATHER, they were focusing on Jesus only, and replacing the FATHER with HIM. This is the way of Trinitarians. They have made Jesus their GOD. Jesus never did anything in HIS Name it was in the FATHERS Name He did everything he did. All the Miracles performed by Jesus and the apostles were done by GOD the FATHER HIMSELF. I would not go TO Jesus and say in you name i did any miracles, no i recieved them from GOD the FATHER himself , that was exactly who i was praying to when they were done.
Nick where do you see any Miracles done there. Again you twist scriptures to meet you own GNOSTIC teachings, As i said before you are far more a GNOSTIC then I am. It is YOU WHO BELIEVE IN THE PREEXISTENCE OF JESUS, and by the way, ONLY GOD the FATHER CAN DO MIRACLES, NO OTHER CAN. miracles are a confirmation of GOD The FATHERS presents in our lives. He confirmed the words of Jesus and the apostles by the Miracles that followed them. IMO

i tink if you believe in the Son you also believe in the father ,if you believe in the father you also accept the Son,but the trinity added the Holy spirit to them and declare that they all three are one and God,this is the twist.G,
No those in the body of Christ worked effectively in the name of their master Jesus, knowing that he was one with his God just as they were.

So God often allows His powers to be shown to encourage us in our early walk.It is not proof of anything but encouragement to seek more of His ways and they are found in His Word.
To stop walking then and sit in the armchair convinced that all is well by these reflections is not what He wants but rather more commitment to searching His truths.
The light is with us for a time but the night comes and preparation for that night is what that light is given for.

The more God blesses with evidence the more He expects of us in faithfulness.

It is not those who call him Lord that he knows but those who do the will of God[Mt7.21]The will of God is to believe in the Son and the teachings God gave him and not to dissect away bits and add others.
