Evil spirits do indwell the bodies and minds of men.

INCARNATION specifically refers to the body. Those with carnal minds are those spoken of as IN THE BODY.[Rom 8.13,2cor 10, gal5]]

Paul had been transformed by the renewal of his mind and was free mentally but was anxious to shed his old body of death to be completely free. [rom 7, phil 1]

The Holy Spirit can and does inhabit some cleansed men but not just bodily as the Spirit abides in men after death to raise them as with Jesus Christ.

The Spirit is with our spirit till we die. We are living souls.
So the passing of the Spirit in Elijah to Elisha and John is not in a true sense reincarnation is it?

The confusion arises when MEDIUMs speak with lying demons who claim to BE the person from a previous life relating some dubious incidents about them.
Of course they go from one person to another and do become familiar with the life of the people they indwell.

I have defined the terms “Preexistence“ and 'reincarnation', and I've
been waiting for Nick to define his terms: 'an evil Angel' and/or 'evil Angels'.

Your misunderstanding of “the terms“: like that
of “Free Will“ will not be the basis of our discussion!

“Preexistence” and 'reincarnation' are not interchangeable, Gene;

But that is not the topic here, Reincarnation is to return back into the flesh that is true ,not arguieing that, because the prefix (RE) meant return back> i concur with that, But the Word Preexist can also be be said of a Person after the are reincarnation has been taken place correct. becasue the prefix (PRE) mean a past existence and also the term (RE) implies also Past EXISTENCE, rather it is a Spirit a which is part of a SOUL, Because a SOUL is NOT SEPARATE from a BODY, a “LIVING SOUL IS a BODY With SPIRIT (IN)IT or a BODY with Spirit which is a LIVING SOUL” You said when i asked you if you had any recall of a Past life it was a MOOT POINT , that is wrong it is a VALID POINT, if saying you preexisted them why can't you recall anything in you so called Past life.
