The Word was made flesh and dwelt among us.
Funny……….Now I don't see that word “IN”.
So I guess your first statement ISN'T actually said in any scripture, and your second statement – WITHOUT that added word “IN” – is the correct one.
So, did the Word come to be IN flesh? Or did the Word BECOME flesh?
There is a big difference, so it's best to get it right, Nick.
For example:
1. The Holy Spirit came to be IN David.
2. The Holy Spirit BECAME David.
See? A BIG difference between the two. If the scriptures say the first one, it's not good or right to teach the second one.

Galatians 2:20
I am crucified with Christ: nevertheless I live; yet not I, but Christ liveth in me: and the life which I now live in the flesh I live by the faith of the Son of God, who loved me, and gave himself for me.Is this not yet true for you?

Rom 89 But ye are not in the flesh, but in the Spirit, if so be that the Spirit of God dwell in you. Now if any man have not the Spirit of Christ, he is none of his.
10 And if Christ be in you, the body is dead because of sin; but the Spirit is life because of righteousness.
11 But if the Spirit of him that raised up Jesus from the dead dwell in you, he that raised up Christ from the dead shall also quicken your mortal bodies by his Spirit that dwelleth in you.
Not yet?

All your scriptures are useless for this discussion, UNLESS you can tell me that GOD said the words of John 6:38.
Can you tell me that? Can you tell me that GOD is the one who said He came down from heaven to do the will of the one who sent Him, instead of doing his own will?
If not, then any “God was in Jesus” scripture that you quoted won't apply to John 6:38.
It has nothing to do with me “mocking” any spirit. It has nothing to do with me “ignoring” any scriptures. It only has to do with the fact that JESUS is the one who said the words of John 6:38.
As soon as you accept this fact, you can come back to the side of truth again.

Is your theory that spirits cannot move bodies-despite the multiple examples where they do-stop you hearing the Spirit in Jesus or is it religious bias?June 1, 2014 at 8:00 pm#386085NickHassanParticipantHi MB,

The Spirit of Christ spoke.
Show me in scripture, Nick.Show me one scripture that says the Spirit of Christ spoke THROUGH the man Jesus.
And IF you can get that far (you won't), you can show me how this “Spirit of Christ”, which you say is one with the “Spirit of God”, could have a DIFFERENT WILL than the God who sent it down from heaven.
See? You are trapped, dude. Give it up already. Be gracious and ADMIT defeat, so you don't keep teaching things that contradict scripture to other people.
