Quote (Nick Hassan @ June 07 2014,00:30) Hi,
Jesus the man became the Son of God spiritually at the Jordan.
Nno ,he is born the son of God and he existed as son of God ,
and he died as the son of God ,
read the scriptures instead of making up your own opinion

Yes both you and Mike hear only the natural.
Jesus wants you to come alive in the Spirit.
That's a pretty lame “response” to the things we've showed you, Nick. Can't you do a little better?Or could we use that “defense” to whatever you post as well?
The Trinitarians use that “defense”. Wakeup uses it all the time. Jack and Keith used to use it daily on this site.
It seems to me that whenever someone's doctrine has been shot down by SCRIPTURE, and they have no REAL answer, they use the old, “You don't have the Spirit, so you can't understand these things” ploy.
Lame indeed.

Your response is once again lame.
Try actually ADDRESSING the things we teach you, Nick.

Jn 17.1-5
nickJn 17:1 After Jesus said this, he looked toward heaven and prayed:
“Father, the time has come. Glorify your Son, that your Son may glorify you.
Jn 17:2 For you granted him authority over all people that he might give eternal life to all those you have given him.
Jn 17:3 Now this is eternal life: that they may know you, the only true God, and Jesus Christ, whom you have sent.
Jn 17:4 I have brought you glory on earth by completing the work you gave me to do.
Jn 17:5 And now, Father, glorify me in your presence with the glory I had with you before the world began.Quote hi MB,

so your quoted scriptures do not say what you are willing them to say ; it talks about Jesus ,right yes
so you are wishful thinking again ;that is not what Jesus says ;
why are you so belittle the son of God
June 10, 2014 at 12:18 am#388101mikeboll64BlockedNo response, Nick? You made a claim about John 17:1-5. The Pierre quoted that passage. It doesn't say anything close to what you claimed it did.
Did you notice the NAME of the PERSON who said those words? (Verse 1)
Did you notice that, once again, the word “Christ” was not attached to the name of the PERSON who said those words? (Verse 1)
Did you notice that the PERSON who said the words called the one he was praying to “Father”, and spoke of himself as “Son”?
Is the Word/Spirit/God thing you've invented God's SON? Is God it's FATHER? Is it's name “JESUS”?

Do you know have the Spirit of the Son? Gal 4.6June 10, 2014 at 12:24 am#388103mikeboll64BlockedQuote (Nick Hassan @ June 08 2014,13:46) hi MB,
THe Word was with God
The Word wanted to return to be with God.
You also say the Word WAS God, right? So did the Word want to go back WITH God, like you've said?
Or did the Word want to go back to BEING God again?
And isn't the Word the “Spirit of Christ”, as you've said? If so, how was this SPIRIT, which you say is OF God and OF the Holy Spirit, ever even APART FROM God in the first place?
When God sends His Spirit to someone on earth, does that Spirit SEPARATE FROM God, to the point it has the urge to get back “next to” God again? Is that Spirit even a sentient being, to the point that it even HAS urges?
Surely you are capable of better understanding, Nick. So what is causing you to stumble on these easy things? Perhaps the “Bias Stone”?

Yes, the Spirit of the Son, Jesus Christ. It is also called “The Spirit of Christ” in a few scriptures.“Spirit of the Son” and “Spirit of Christ” refer to the same spirit.
June 10, 2014 at 12:27 am#388106NickHassanParticipantHi MB,
Ask scripture.
Prov 26.4Was the Word with God?
Does the Spirit ever separate from God?
That is a theologians folly.June 10, 2014 at 12:38 am#388115mikeboll64BlockedQuote (Nick Hassan @ June 09 2014,18:27) Does the Spirit ever separate from God?

EXACTLY! So then your claim that “The Word” wanted to go back with God was a lame, useless, unscriptural, and mundane claim, right?See? Now we're getting somewhere. Knowing is half the battle, Nick. Now that you're beginning to KNOW that you've been spouting unscriptural nonsense, you'll have a better chance at fixing that problem, right?
June 10, 2014 at 1:36 am#388128NickHassanParticipantHi MB,
The Word had glory with God.
The Word wanted that situation to be resumed.
But God had greater plans for the Word putting all things under him. - AuthorPosts
