together as if some grand conclusion has been reached?
This tactic is used again and again by a certain member,

Couldnt you also say that not answering direct questions or not even giving explainations is also annoying?or when you ask for an explaination,
the reponse is “ask more questions,”
you ask more questions
the reponse are answers that have no explanations.
its like asking tell me about the sky,
you say well what do you want to know abotu the sky, ask me a question.i ask ok what is it.
you say, its sky.ok so why is it there,
its a sky.but how is it formed….
well its a sky.July 10, 2010 at 6:39 am#245108mikeboll64BlockedQuote (SimplyForgiven @ July 10 2010,08:05) Quote (mikeboll64 @ July 03 2010,22:49) Quote (SimplyForgiven @ June 28 2010,15:03) 8) “Starting over”

Hi Dennison,I might be a ninja, but I certainly haven't mastered how to read the garbled up messes you call posts. Say it clear, and I will reply to it. Is that so hard?
Instead of asking “What do you think the sky is?” and leaving a vast amount of possible answers, why not try, “Do you agree that the sky is (blank)?”
You ask very vague questions like, “So what do you think about John 1:1?” How am I supposed to answer that vague question? I think it starts with a “J”. I think it is one of the gospels. I think John wrote it.
Ask a DIRECT AND TO THE POINT QUESTION AND I WILL ALWAYS ANSWER IT. If I ignore it the first time due to time restrictions or whatever, bring it to my attention again. Show me where I didn't answer a DIRECT and UNDERSTANDABLE question from you.

Hi SF,I hope this answers your newest query about questions…
When you ask questions that you feel you do not already know
the answer to, I do my best to answer your many probing questions.
However after I have sufficiently answered and you don't like the answer,
you then resort to asking loaded questions that are nothing more than rewording
the original questions in an 'attempt' get me to answer them in a way to fit it into your preconceived
ideas of truth; that is when the games begin as I have previously answered and you didn't like the answer I gave!Your friend!

So in other words “out of the mouth of two or three witnesses let every word be established” doesn't mean anything?Or if 15 people say they saw a murder 1 person says its not true, the popular opinion is not to be used as evidence in a court of law?

WJ,Im not saying that testimony is not worth anything.
Im saying what the majority thinks is not above what God or the bible thinks,His thoughts are greater than ours.
Thats basically my point,
Ok so what if 15 people went to court and lied or had a misconception of what they saw?
so it would be up to the Defending attorny that would use facts to override the lies or misconception.
for example 15 people “thought” they saw this white male who looks similiar to the defandant robbing a gas station
but the defending attorny shows a securtiy camera that PROVES that it isnt him.ok so in debate, when you state stupid warrents like: Did you know that the newest translation of english scripture does not agree with you?
or did you know all these scholars dont agree with you,
to much of anything is bad. so when you make an absolute truth out of what is most popular, chances are its flawed, or a misconception, compared to Gods TRUTH, and hard evidence.
whats worth more?
when someone says they saw the sky,
or when they show u the picture of the sky?July 16, 2010 at 6:21 pm#245116SimplyForgivenParticipantQuote (Ed J @ July 16 2010,17:30) HI SF, That brings up another interesting debate point that is pointless.

SFI know what you are saying and for the most part I agree. What bothers me is when people claim for instance to know more about the scriptures and the translations than the 100s of scholars, those who were the experts in Biblical Hebrew and Greek translation, when they themselves could not read or translate a single word without a Biblical Concordance.

11) Know It All fallacy
Is when a poster believes that their intellect is far superior than facts and ignore what they are ignorant about, believing that their intellect is enough evidence to prove everyone elses hard core facts.A: well the bible says this!
B: well son, did you know that in greek it means this,
A: What? your not smart enough to understand my points, I know for sure it means this, and your just wrong.July 19, 2010 at 8:01 am#245120SimplyForgivenParticipant12)Evidence of Intentions Fallacy
Is when a poster uses intent of the writer as evidence to refute analysis based facts.
ex:
A-(claim) Jesus is God because (Warrent)he is the alpha and the omega mentioned in rev.22
B- oh really? well why didnt the genuis say that in the gospel of John? so it couldnt be true(REally REALY!!!) - AuthorPosts
