Quote Hi j42,
Revelation 15
Young's Literal Translation (YLT)
“15 And I saw another sign in the heaven, great and wonderful, seven messengers having the seven last plagues, because in these was completed the wrath of God,
2 and I saw as a sea of glass mingled with fire, and those who do gain the victory over the beast, and his image, and his mark, [and] the number of his name, standing by the sea of the glass, having harps of God,
3 and they sing the song of Moses, servant of God, and the song of the Lamb, saying, `Great and wonderful [are] Thy works, O Lord God, the Almighty, righteous and true [are] Thy ways, O King of saints,
4 who may not fear Thee, O Lord, and glorify Thy name? because Thou alone [art] kind, because all the nations shall come and bow before Thee, because Thy righteous acts were manifested.'
5 And after these things I saw, and lo, opened was the sanctuary of the tabernacle of the testimony in the heaven;
6 and come forth did the seven messengers having the seven plagues, out of the sanctuary, clothed in linen, pure and shining, and girded round the breasts with golden girdles:
7 and one of the four living creatures did give to the seven messengers seven golden vials, full of the wrath of God, who is living to the ages of the ages;
8 and filled was the sanctuary with smoke from the glory of God, and from His power, and no one was able to enter into the sanctuary till the seven plagues of the seven messengers may be finished.”v8 YLT
No ONE-not no MAN
Which version is putting MAN in there?Nick
It basically goes like this;
We have to believe that the holy bible is the inspired Word of God and we have to believe that God preserved his Word.
This is the fundamental principle of our faith, ….the very core of it.
Without believing this, we would not know about the miraculous virgin birth. We only know about this because a book told us so. We never saw evidence.
We know that Christ is part of the Godhead, and has power to forgive sins. We also know this because a book told us so. We never had evidence, but we believe.
and we know that Christ was resurrected, and made a sin atonement in his own blood, so we too, can follow in his resurrection, and we know this because a book told us so. We were not there, but we believe. We believe every Word, because that's how great our trust is.
We are like little puppy dogs licking our masters feet, begging for food, and eager to learn new commands. We hang off his every Word.This same book that we believe to be the infallible Word of God, meaning that it has no errors, or mistakes but is perfect, flawless, precise, accurate, faultless and pure, in fact PURIFIED 7 TIMES, so that it can be delivered to us exactly as intended and can be trusted to edify, rebuke, teach, confirm and is for DOCTRINE, and reproof. Anything else is a phoney, and a copycat, and a direct attack on the Word of God.
The holy bible stands alone, and stands for itself. It is different from any other book on the planet. It never changes, so stays the same. It is the Word of God.
So in answer to your question, you need to pick a version that claims this;
1 Thessalonians 2:13 For this cause also thank we God without ceasing, because, when ye received the word of God which ye heard of us, ye received it not as the word of men, but as it is in truth, the word of God, which effectually worketh also in you that believe.
If we believe in God's Word, that Word will work in us,
and many get offended because they don't believe God preserved his Word in ONE BOOK, and one book only, completed from beginning to end and ready to distribute to the gentiles.Men will confuse you, and use their scholarly status to baffle you, and they will start talking in tongues to you. They will speak in different tongues, like Hebrew, Arabaic, and Greek and some in Latin. They will talk to you in a language so far removed, they will nearly have you believing that the holy bible was intended for them only who spoke those tongues thousands of years ago, and they will have you actually believe that the Word of God must go through them scholars first, to be sifted and changed and IMPROVED, even though it already came out and was delivered to us 400 years earlier.
Yes they will have you talking in tongues before you know it and you will forget your own tongue.So you make your own mind up.

Journey,The “G” is for emphasis but the format of titles does does not allow for any letter but the first to be capitalized. Just state “the god” for emphasis or some other form that is allowed.

Canonisation of a particular version of the bible is a common ploy
by folks wishing to make their teachings seem infallible
by their deep knowledge of that versionApril 8, 2014 at 8:18 pm#376922NickHassanParticipantHi,
The OT is absolutely pure.The NT still has to be carefully sifted for the additions of men.

we have many old Hebrew /Greek manuscripts and more resent the dead sea scrolls we have so much available knowledge today that the bibles of 4 ,3,or 200 years ago seems like Dinosaurs ,all this knowledge is for us from God ,he preserve this for us all who believe ,

2 Peter 1:20 Knowing this first, that no prophecy of the scripture is of any private interpretation.
2 Peter 1:21 For the prophecy came not in old time by the will of man: but holy men of God spake as they were moved by the Holy Ghost.
Do you believe this by faith?
or do you believe the critics that claim men wrote the bible according their own interpretation?
Well that's the path that they are leading all christians to.
Because they believe this, they wrote many new bibles.
They don't believe these scriptures.April 9, 2014 at 3:05 am#376997NickHassanParticipantHi J42,

Quote Hi J42,
The bibles are based on different manuscripts.
Look beyond man.
That's right Nick,
Look beyond man, and look towards God, and trust his Word.Look at the facts also.
Clear and simple facts, without jumping into the whole translating process and joining those that destroy God's Word.
Look on the outside, and see what they have done.
It's up to you which bible you choose to study.So it boils down to this,
Two family's of manuscripts.
One family from Antioch, Syria,
and the other from Alexandra, Egypt.You have a line from Syria, In the Syrian line of manuscripts are 5231 pieces of manuscript. Not all the manuscripts are the same size, as some are smaller and some contain larger portions of scriptures, but you have duplicates, a series of them all reading the same thing.
This is why it is called the Majority Text, because a vast majority read alike.
99.2% of texts in harmony.Now the second family, that comes through Alexendria, Egypt, has only 45 pieces of manuscripts.
Out of those 45, are only a handful that are bigger than a couple of verses. Some so they are miniscule and so small they contain just a single verse, or a fragment of a passage.
And not only do they disagree with the line of Antioch manuscripts, they disagree with each other.I have read that we cannot go more than two verses without them disagreeing. WOW.
The King James version is the only version that is translated from the Majority texts.
Every other translation comes from the Alexandrian line of only 45 witnesses in which they all disagree with each other. There is no common understanding among them,
and these versions are not updates of the King James.
They are not updating the language,
they are translating from an entirely different text.Quote
These manuscripts include those used by all modern versions and they have a high level of disagreement between each other (For example, Sinaiticus and Vaticanus, the two principal Alexandrian manuscripts by far, disagree with each other in over 3,000 places in the four gospels alone – see chart below).
a. The Differences Between Sinaiticus and Vaticanus in the Four Gospels:
Matthew 656+
Mark 567+
Luke 791+
John 1022+
Total 3036+end quote
Do you trust that God's book is accurate?
So to make your choice, do you have to learn another tongue?
Do you have to become a scholar to understand the words of life?
Do you understand that God had to preserve his Word so that it would reach us without error?
Does this offend you?
Because the so called “christian world” is being led to believe otherwise.
And when the simple facts are presented, they are offended.We believe by faith that God inspired his book, and preserved his book.
If you are reading a new version, you will have 18-30,000 words missing or changed.
You will not be receiving the full Word of God, part only and corrupted at that.
You cannot find the full truth if you don't have it in your hands.April 9, 2014 at 4:52 am#377010NickHassanParticipantHi,
Should we just follow the understandings of men?Prov 5
15 Drink waters out of thine own cistern, and running waters out of thine own well.16 Let thy fountains be dispersed abroad, and rivers of waters in the streets.
