EDj,
We have been through this – don't condemn me.
I wrote both… also. I don't care what you say about it. To me “I AM” is a WONDERFUL name that embodies EVERYTHING in a “From Everlasting to Everlasting, and all Powerful, all knowledgeable being” – (“I AM : I have Been, I currently am, I will Always be: I AM)
“I Will be” says … “At some point in the near future , or far future, I shall become”
God does not change – from past Everlasting to future everlasting – What 'Will” He “be” : What will He “Become”? God does not change to “Become” anything – What Can God become that God is not already.
But, Ok, “I will Be” could also say, “I WILL ALWAYS BE” but it then doesn't explicitly say “I have [ALWAYS] BEEN”. note, I added the “ALWAYS”.
But… not making any claim, nor argument. Have I not previously agreed to say “I will be” …for your sake… why berate me for explaining?
Now, Why are you quoting Mark 13;6 to me. What has that verse got to do with anything – please explain… I am at a loss here.

Ha Ha! I've heard you say that before… Please tell me where you got that from?
Is there a specific Greek rendering of “I am he” different to
And they said to him: “Are you the Christ?”
and he replied “You rightly say, I am he”“many will come saying 'I am he'” – are you saying that 'Lucifer' will come announcing himself -as himself – that would be foolish of him, would it not – surely Satan is not that foolish?
July 8, 2010 at 7:02 pm#202564Ed JParticipantHi JustAskin,
Did you even read the verse Mark 13:6 in my last Post?
By what you've written here indicates you didn't read it!Vile means 'evil' and Lucifer is evil! Job 40:4 Behold, I am vile…
1Tm. 1:15 This is a faithful saying (John 1:12), and worthy of all acceptation,
that Christ Jesus came into the world to save sinners; of whom I am chief. It seems you don't accept what 1Tm.1:15 is saying do you?

and they remained together in the valley of Melech. And Adonizedek blessed
Abram, and Abram gave him a tenth from all that he had brought from the spoil

and he was the priest of the most high God. And he blessed him, and said,
Blessed be Abram of the most high God, possessor of heaven and earth:

Hi Everybody,Guys lets try to keep this thread on topic; OK?
The Book of Jasher suggests Melchizedek was Shem.
And Pastor Charles Jennings suggests Melchizedek was a King/Priest office. (See first Post)God bless

Melchizedek means King of Righteousness. (Heb.7:2)
[מלך] Mĕh-lĕk means King and [צדיק] tzĕdĕk means righteous.“He shall pass over to his strong hold for fear, and his princes shall be afraid
of the ensign, saith the LORD, whose fire is in Zion, and his furnace in Jerusalem. Behold,
(Jesus) a king shall reign in righteousness, and princes shall rule in judgment.” (Isa 31:9-32:1)God bless

Hi Nick,Yes, but I believe Melchizedek was an “office” rather than a specific individual.
Being a “King Priest”, which started with Adam, passed down to Seth, to
Enoch, to “Shem”, to David, and now permanently to Christ, Jesus! The “book of Jasher” identifies Melchizedek as “Shem” (Joshua 10:13 and 2Samuel 1:18)
Jesus Pedigree
Priest: Mary's mother's lineage was of the tribe of Levi. (Luke 1:5, 1:36)
King: 25%: Mary's father's lineage was (Judah) through Nathan(son of David). (Luke 3:23-31)
Son of God: 50%: Jesus' Father was the “HolySpirit”; NOT Joseph! (Mathew 1:18 / Mathew 1:20 / Luke 1:35)God bless
