John 5:19 Verily, verily, I say unto you, The Son can do nothing of himself, but what he seeth the Father do: for what things soever he doeth, these also doeth the Son likewise.
John 5:20 For the Father loveth the Son, and showeth him all things that himself doeth: and he will show him greater works that these, that ye may marvel.
John 5:21 For as the Father raiseth up the dead, and quickeneth them, even so the Son quickeneth whom he will.
John 5:22 For the Father judgeth no man, but hath committed all judgment unto the Son.
John 5:23 That all men should honor the Son, even as they honor the Father. He that honoreth not the Son honoreth not the Father which hath sent him.
John 5:24 Verily, verily, I say unto you, He that heareth my word, and believeth on him that sent me, hath everlasting life, and shall not come into condemnation; but is passed from death unto life.
John 5:25 Verily, Verily, I say unto you, The hour is coming, and now is, when the dead shall hear the voice of the Son of God: and they that hear shall live.
John 5:26 For as the Father has life in himself; so hath he given to the Son to have life in himself.
John 5:27 And hath given him all authority to execute judgment also, because he is the Son of man.
John 5:28 Marvel not at this; for the hour is coming, in the which all that are in the graves shall hear his voice,
John 5:29 And shall come forth; they that have done good, unto the resurrection of life; and they that have done evil, unto the resurrection of damnation.
Why is authority given to Jesus to execute judgment, because he is the Son of man?
Why is it not worded, …because he is the Son of God?
I do know the answer, but want you to think about it.
It's an easy one.March 22, 2014 at 3:28 pm#374503mikeboll64BlockedHebrews 2
17 For this reason he had to be made like them, fully human in every way, in order that he might become a merciful and faithful high priest in service to God, and that he might make atonement for the sins of the people. 18 Because he himself suffered when he was tempted, he is able to help those who are being tempted.Hebrews 4:15
For we do not have a high priest who is unable to empathize with our weaknesses, but we have one who has been tempted in every way, just as we are—yet he did not sin.March 22, 2014 at 8:00 pm#374563WakeupParticipantWould you like some more of that coffee?
Its a wonderful evening isnt it.
You think it's going to rain tonight?
Lets continue our debate tomorrow.
Thank you; That was a nice evening.
Good night.wakeup.

I will not be debating with that.March 23, 2014 at 5:01 pm#374629mikeboll64BlockedMy answer was that the “Son of Man” would be judging, because the Son of Man, with his human experience, understands our flaws and weaknesses better, and therefore makes a better judge.
What is your answer?
March 23, 2014 at 8:52 pm#374675NickHassanParticipantYes MB,
Not a god.March 24, 2014 at 4:11 am#374714journey42ParticipantMike
Thank you. Yes, that is correct.
March 24, 2014 at 5:23 am#374715kerwinParticipantTo all,
What Mike concludes sounds right to my ears.
March 24, 2014 at 6:11 pm#374745WakeupParticipantWhat sounds nice to the ears is not necessary the truth.
For he believes in his mind that Jesus is A GOD.
All worship a Jesus that they dont know, and a God that is a stranger. This is the truth, for no man knows the son and the father.
This is the reason of all the debates.
Otherwise all that should have been put to rest, and go on forward to the next debate. Which also has been debated, and also bogged down. From one unsolved debate to another. So the debate goes on and on,till kigdom come. The coffee and biscuits manufacturers are rubbing their hands together.wakeup.

Quote This is the truth, for no man knows the son and the father. This statement is off as a general statement though it may be correct for this site.
In the more general sense you could say few men know the son and the father and that is the reason for all this debate. Jesus after all reasoned with those that did not know either him or his father.

Kerwin. It took Jesus three and a half years only to teach
His apostles.
This debate has actually started thousands of years ago amongst the scribes, and is still going on today.
Time to ask the question. What is wrong?
Why can we not find the true answer?
Is it not obvious that the Holy spirit has not been there
to teach? How long will it take, till we come to realise?The soil needs to be worked on, and watered,to produce any fruits. Meaning: the hearts of men needs watering;
then the HS will act.wakeup.
March 24, 2014 at 6:41 pm#374752kerwinParticipantWakeup,
The debating will go until the time of Jesus because not all are approved by God and even those that are may still lack knowledge.
Debate is a tool to test our own lives and doctrines. Reading Scripture can be used the same way.

Approval by God is obtained by obedience to Acts 2.38-9knowledge alone brings no approval,
just less excusesMarch 28, 2014 at 12:54 am#375227mikeboll64BlockedJohn 17:3
This means everlasting life, their taking in knowledge of you, the only true God, and of the one whom you sent forth, Jesus Christ. The right knowledge can mean everlasting life, Nick.
March 28, 2014 at 1:03 am#375230mikeboll64BlockedQuote (Wakeup @ Mar. 24 2014,12:11) For he believes in his mind that Jesus is A GOD.
And what do you and Nick believe Jesus is right now?The only flesh and blood human being in the spiritual realm of heaven? That thought is not only unscriptural, but also absurd.
So what's left then? A spirit being who IS the Most High God Himself? That one is also unscriptural and absurd.
What does that leave us with? A spirit being who is NOT the Most High God Himself? Yep…….. that's the scriptural one, guys.
Now all you have to do is be aware that powerful spirit beings who are NOT Jehovah Himself are called gods many times, in many scriptures. Jesus himself is called a god in at least five different scriptures – OT and NT.
So my only question to you guys is: Why do you refuse to believe what is so clearly written in the God-inspired scriptures?
April 5, 2014 at 6:36 pm#376381NickHassanParticipantHi MB,
If we are to be given a heavenly body and we follow Jesus Christ then he too will be so garbed.
When we see him we will be alike to him scripture tells us.
I suggest Dan 7 shows him as he is.April 5, 2014 at 6:46 pm#376390WakeupParticipantMike B.
I asked you a question.
Why have you not responded? The spokesman of God.
Where did he come from.
Was he a created man;angel,or what?
Please explain to us.wakeup.

1 For we know that if our earthly house of this tabernacle were dissolved, we have a building of God, an house not made with hands, eternal in the heavens.2 For in this we groan, earnestly desiring to be clothed upon with our house which is from heaven:
3 If so be that being clothed we shall not be found naked.
