Jesus was Michael?

There are some people who believe that Yeshua was the archangel Michael before he took on flesh and walked among us as Messiah. What do they base this belief on?

For the record, I refuse to respond in this thread. One is enough. Search “Michael.”

I have had these discussions in each of these other threads. Why can't we just use one of those.

kejonn, if you would like to know what “they” base these beliefs on, please go to the Michael the archangel threads. In one or two of them, I list all the scriptures that answer this question. We can have this discussion in one of those threads, please.

I did a search on Michael before I started the thread. It came up empty so I started one. My apologies.

EDIT: Hehe, I didn't change the date range of the search! So it was only looking for posts within the last month.
