    Behold the Lamb!

Jesus’ Second Coming and the Counterfeit!

BEHOLD, I SHOW YOU A MYSTERY! We shall not all sleep, but we shall all be changed, In a
moment, in the twinkling of an eye, at the last trump: for the trumpet shall sound, and the
dead shall be raised incorruptible, and we shall be changed. 1 Corinthians 15:51, 52.
“And the Word was made flesh, and dwelt among us, (and we beheld his glory, the glory as
of the only begotten of the Father,) full of grace and truth.” John 1:14
“… this same Jesus, which is taken up from you into heaven, shall so come in like manner as
ye have seen him go into heaven.” Acts 1:11.
For the Lord himself shall descend from heaven with a shout, with the voice of the archangel,
and with the trump of God: and the dead in Christ shall rise first: Then we which are alive
and remain shall be caught up together with them in the clouds, to meet the Lord in the air:
and so shall we ever be with the Lord. 1 Thessalonians 4:16, 17.
Yes, He’ll Come Again! But First…
    There Will Be A Counterfeit!
“And no marvel; for Satan himself is transformed into an angel of light.” 2 Corinthians 11:14.
“Even him, whose coming is after the working of Satan with all power and signs and lying
wonders, And with all deceivableness of unrighteousness in them that perish; because they
received not the love of the truth, that they might be saved. And for this cause God shall send
them strong delusion, that they should believe a lie:” 2 Thessalonians 2:9-11.
The Counterfeit will be welcomed by those who “received not the love of the truth”. They have
refused the Truth and they are left to the false ideas they have chosen. Satan will provide a
Substitute for the truth and even pretend to be Jesus! To know the difference, we must study
    the true!
“For the Lord himself shall descend from heaven with a shout, with the voice of the
archangel, and with the trump of God: and the dead in Christ shall rise first: Then we which
are alive and remain shall be caught up together with them in the clouds, to meet the Lord in
the air: and so shall we ever be with the Lord.” 1 Thessalonians 4.16, 17.
“Wherefore if they shall say unto you, Behold, he is in the desert; go not forth: behold, he is
in the secret chambers; believe it not. For as the lightning cometh out of the east, and shineth
even unto the west; so shall also the coming of the Son of man be.” Matthew 24:26, 27.
Everyone on earth will see this! What a wonderful event this is! Our imaginations cannot grasp
the glory and joy of that time! “the dead in Christ shall rise” “caught up together with them in
the clouds” and “ever be with the Lord

But What If…Before the Real Coming of Christ, you are fooled by Satan’s counterfeit? What if
you have already bowed your knees and worshipped the Enemy! Impossible? Not at all!
“And no marvel; for Satan himself is transformed into an angel of light.” 2 Corinthians 11.14
Satan will appear and say he is Jesus! Most of the people on earth will believe him!
“Even him, whose coming is after the working of Satan with all power and signs and lying
wonders, And with all deceivableness of unrighteousness in them that perish; because they
received not the love of the truth, that they might be saved.” 2 Thessalonians 2:9,10
Already this counterfeit is well known amongst mankind. Many ‘New-Agers’ know this being as
the ‘Cosmic Christ’. Already many worship him. Who is he? “. . that old serpent, called the
Devil, and Satan, which deceiveth the whole world!” Revelation 12:9.
As the crowning act in the great drama of deception, Satan himself will personate Christ. The
church has long professed to look to the Saviour’s advent as the fulfilment of her hopes.
Now the great deceiver will make it appear that Christ has come. In different parts of the earth,
Satan will manifest himself among men as a majestic being of dazzling brightness, resembling
the description of the Son of God given by John in the Revelation.
“His head and his hairs were white like wool, as white as snow; and his eyes were as a flame
of fire; And his feet like unto fine brass, as if they burned in a furnace; and his voice as the
sound of many waters.” Revelation 1:14-15.
The glory that surrounds him is unsurpassed by anything that mortal eyes have yet beheld. The
shout of triumph rings out upon the air: “Christ has come! Christ has come!” The people
prostrate themselves in adoration before him, while he lifts up his hands and pronounces a
blessing upon them, as Christ blessed His disciples when He was upon the earth.
His voice is soft and subdued, yet full of melody. In gentle, compassionate tones he presents
some of the same gracious, heavenly truths which the Saviour uttered; he heals the diseases of
the people, and then, in his assumed character of Christ, Satan claims to have changed the
Sabbath to Sunday, and commands all to hallow the day which he has blessed.
He declares that those who persist in keeping holy the seventh-day are blaspheming his name
by refusing to listen to his angels sent to them with light and truth. This is the strong, almost
overmastering delusion. Like the Samaritans who were deceived by Simon Magus a sorcerer,
the multitudes, from the least to the greatest, give heed to these sorceries, saying: This is “the
great power of God.” Acts 8:10.
But the people of God will not be misled. The teachings of this false christ are not in accordance
with the Scriptures. His blessing is pronounced upon the worshipers of the beast and his image,
the very class upon whom the Bible declares that God’s unmingled wrath shall be poured out.
    GC.624 – 625.
“To the law and to the testimony: if they speak not according to this word, it is because there
is no light in them.” Isaiah 8:20.
How will you recognize the counterfeit?? You must Study the true!

For as the lightning cometh out of the east, and shineth even unto the west; so shall also the
coming of the Son of man be.” Matthew 24.27.
Every one on earth will see it!
“But the day of the Lord will come as a thief in the night; in the which the heavens shall pass
away with a great noise, and the elements shall melt with fervent heat, the earth also and
the works that are therein shall be burned up. Seeing then that all these things shall be
dissolved, what manner of persons ought ye to be in all holy conversation and godliness,
Looking for and hasting unto the coming of the day of God, wherein the heavens being on fire
shall be dissolved, and the elements shall melt with fervent heat?” 2 Peter 3.10-12
“And the heaven departed as a scroll when it is rolled together; and every mountain and
island were moved out of their places. And the kings of the earth, and the great men, and the
rich men, and the chief captains, and the mighty men, and every bondman, and every free
man, hid themselves in the dens and in the rocks of the mountains; And said to the
mountains and rocks, Fall on us, and hide us from the face of him that sitteth on the throne,
and from the wrath of the Lamb:” Revelation 6.14-17
“For the great day of his wrath is come; and who shall be able to stand?” Revelation 6:17.
Behold, he cometh with clouds; and every eye shall see him, and they also which pierced
him: and all kindreds of the earth shall wail because of him. Even so, Amen.
“Our God shall come, and shall not keep silence: a fire shall devour before him, and it shall be
very tempestuous round about him.” Psalm 50.3.
Study the True! Reject the False!
“Then if any man shall say unto you, Lo, here is Christ, or there; believe it not. For there shall
arise false Christs, and false prophets, and shall show great signs and wonders; insomuch
that, if it were possible, they shall deceive the very elect.
“Behold, I have told you before. Wherefore if they shall say unto you, Behold, he is in the
desert; go not forth: behold, he is in the secret chambers; believe it not. For as the lightning
cometh out of the east, and shineth even unto the west; so shall also the coming of the Son
    of man be.” Matthew 24:23-27.
When Jesus comes, everything on earth will be destroyed!! There will be nothing left alive on
the Earth but Satan and his demons! You can’t mistake the true coming of Christ!
Jesus will not touch the earth when He comes for His people! The righteous will be caught up in
the air! You can’t mistake the true coming of Christ!
How will you recognize the counterfeit?? Study the Real!
“To the law and to the testimony: if they speak not according to this word, it is because there
is no light in them.” Isaiah 8:20.
God will not change His Law! The Seventh-day Sabbath was the memorial of creation, it cannot
be changed to the first day!
“My covenant will I not break, nor alter the thing that is gone out of my lips.” Psalm 89:34

Jesus’ Second Coming and the Counterfeit!

“Think not that I am come to destroy the law, or the prophets.” Matthew 5:17.
Before Jesus comes there will be many events happening on earth! God’s true people need to
seek Him with all their hearts so they can be ready to serve others and tell them Jesus is coming
    soon! We must be ready!
The Work of God’s True People
Jesus told many stories to help us understand more about what we need to be. Jesus told a
wedding story to show us to watch and be ready for His coming. The Wise and Foolish
    Bridesmaids.
“Then shall the kingdom of heaven be likened unto ten virgins, which took their lamps, and
went forth to meet the bridegroom. And five of them were wise, and five were foolish. They
that were foolish took their lamps, and took no oil with them: But the wise took oil in their
    vessels with their lamps.
“While the bridegroom tarried, they all slumbered and slept. And at midnight there was a cry
made, Behold, the bridegroom cometh; go ye out to meet him. Then all those virgins arose,
and trimmed their lamps. And the foolish said unto the wise, Give us of your oil; for our
lamps are gone out. But the wise answered, saying, Not so; lest there be not enough for us
and you: but go ye rather to them that sell, and buy for yourselves.
“And while they went to buy, the bridegroom came; and they that were ready went in with
him to the marriage: and the door was shut. Afterward came also the other virgins, saying,
Lord, Lord, open to us. But he answered and said, Verily I say unto you, I know you not.
Watch therefore, for ye know neither the day nor the hour wherein the Son of man cometh.”
    Matthew 25:1-13.
Ten bridesmaids have been invited to the wedding, ten young women robed in white. Each
carries a lighted lamp and a small flask for oil. All are anxiously watching for the appearance of
the bridegroom. But there is a delay. Hour after hour passes; the watchers become weary and
fall asleep. At midnight the cry is heard, “Behold, the bridegroom cometh; go ye out to meet
    him.”
Christ with His disciples is seated upon the Mount of Olives. The sun has set behind the
mountains, and the heavens are curtained with the shades of evening. In full view is a dwelling
house lighted up brilliantly as if for some festive scene. The light streams from the openings,
and an expectant company wait around, indicating that a marriage procession is soon to
appear. In many parts of the East, wedding festivities are held in the evening. The bridegroom
goes forth to meet his bride and bring her to his home. By torchlight the bridal party proceed
from her father’s house to his own, where a feast is provided for the invited guests. In the
scene upon which Christ looks, a company are awaiting the appearance of the bridal party,
    intending to join the procession.
Lingering near the bride’s house are ten young women robed in white. Each carries a lighted
lamp and a small flagon for oil. All are anxiously watching for the appearance of the
bridegroom. But there is a delay. Hour after hour passes; the watchers become weary and fall
asleep. At midnight the cry is heard, “Behold, the bridegroom cometh; go ye out to meet him.”

The sleepers, suddenly awaking, spring to their feet. They see the procession moving on, bright
with torches and glad with music. They hear the voice of the bridegroom and the voice of the
bride. The ten maidens seize their lamps and begin to trim them, in haste to go forth. But five
have neglected to fill their flasks with oil. They did not anticipate so long a delay, and they have
not prepared for the emergency. In distress they appeal to their wiser companions saying, “Give
us of your oil; for our lamps are going out.” (Margin.) But the waiting five, with their freshly
trimmed lamps, have emptied their flagons. They have no oil to spare, and they answer, “Not
so; lest there be not enough for us and you: but go ye rather to them that sell, and buy for
    yourselves.”
While they went to buy, the procession moved on, and left them behind. The five with lighted
lamps joined the throng and entered the house with the bridal train, and the door was shut.
When the foolish virgins reached the banqueting hall, they received an unexpected denial. The
master of the feast declared, “I know you not.” They were left standing without, in the empty
street, in the blackness of the night.
As Christ sat looking upon the party that waited for the bridegroom, He told His disciples the
story of the ten virgins, by their experience illustrating the experience of the church that shall
live just before His second coming.
The two classes of watchers represent the two classes who profess to be waiting for their Lord.
They are called virgins because they profess a pure faith. By the lamps is represented the word
of God. The psalmist says, “Thy word is a lamp unto my feet, and a light unto may path.”
    Psalm 119:105.
The oil is a symbol of the Holy Spirit. Thus the Spirit is represented in the prophecy of
Zechariah. “The angel that talked with me came again,” he says, “and waked me, as a man
that is wakened out of his sleep, and said unto me, What seest thou? And I said, I have
looked, and behold a candlestick all of gold, with a bowl upon the top of it, and his seven
lamps thereon, and seven pipes to the seven lamps, which are upon the top thereof; and two
olive trees by it, one upon the right side of the bowl, and the other upon the left side thereof.
So I answered and spake to the angel that talked with me, saying, What are these, my lord? . .
. Then he answered and spake unto me, saying, This is the word of the Lord unto Zerubbabel,
saying, Not by might, nor by power, but by My Spirit, saith the Lord of hosts. . . . And I
answered again, and said unto him, What be these two olive branches which through the two
golden pipes empty the golden oil out of themselves? . . . Then said he, These are the two
anointed ones, that stand by the Lord of the whole earth.” Zechariah 4:1-14.
From the two olive trees the golden oil was emptied through the golden pipes into the bowl of
the candlestick, and thence into the golden lamps that gave light to the sanctuary. So from the
holy ones that stand in God’s presence His Spirit is imparted to the human instrumentalities
who are consecrated to His service. The mission of the two anointed ones is to communicate to
God’s people that heavenly grace which alone can make His word a lamp to the feet and a light
to the path. “Not by might, nor by power, but by My Spirit, saith the Lord of hosts.” Zechariah
    4:6.

In the parable, all the ten virgins went out to meet the bridegroom. All had lamps and vessels
for oil. For a time there was seen no difference between them. So with the church that lives just
before Christ’s second coming. All have a knowledge of the Scriptures. All have heard the
message of Christ’s near approach, and confidently expect His appearing. But as in the parable,
so it is now. A time of waiting intervenes, faith is tried; and when the cry is heard, “Behold, the
Bridegroom cometh; go ye out to meet Him,” many are unready. They have no oil in their
vessels with their lamps. They are destitute of the Holy Spirit.
Without the Spirit of God a knowledge of His word is of no avail. The theory of truth,
unaccompanied by the Holy Spirit, cannot quicken the soul or sanctify the heart. One may be
familiar with the commands and promises of the Bible; but unless the Spirit of God sets the
truth home, the character will not be transformed. Without the enlightenment of the Spirit,
men will not be able to distinguish truth from error, and they will fall under the masterful
    temptations of Satan.
The class represented by the foolish virgins are not hypocrites. They have a regard for the truth,
they have advocated the truth, they are attracted to those who believe the truth; but they have
not yielded themselves to the Holy Spirit’s working. They have not fallen upon the Rock, Christ
Jesus, and permitted their old nature to be broken up. This class are represented also by the
stony-ground hearers. They receive the word with readiness, but they fail of assimilating its
principles. Its influence is not abiding.
The Spirit works upon man’s heart, according to his desire and consent, implanting in him a new
nature; but the class represented the foolish virgins have been content with a superficial work.
They do not know God. They have not studied His character; they have not held communion
with Him; therefore they do not know how to trust, how to look and live. Their service to God
degenerates into a form. “They come unto thee as the people cometh, and they sit before
thee as My people, and they hear thy words, but they will not do them; for with their mouth
they show much love, but their heart goeth after their covetousness.” Ezekiel 33:31. The
apostle Paul points out that this will be the special characteristic of those who live just before
Christ’s second coming. He says, “In the last days perilous times shall come: for men shall be
lovers of their own selves; . . . lovers of pleasures more than lovers of God; having a form of
godliness, but denying the power thereof.” 2 Timothy 3:1-5.
This is the class that in time of peril are found crying, Peace and safety. They lull their hearts
into security, and dream not of danger. When startled from their lethargy, they discern their
destitution, and entreat others to supply their lack; but in spiritual things no man can make up
another’s deficiency. The grace of God has been freely offered to every soul. The message of
the gospel has been heralded, “Let him that is athirst come. And whosoever will, let him take
the water of life freely.” Revelation 22:17. But character is not transferable. No man can
believe for another. No man can receive the Spirit for another. No man can impart to another
the character which is the fruit of the Spirit’s working. “Though Noah, Daniel, and Job were in
it [the land], as I live, saith the Lord God, they shall deliver neither son nor daughter; they
shall but deliver their own souls by their righteousness.” Ezekiel 14:20.
It is in a crisis that character is revealed. When the earnest voice proclaimed at midnight,
“Behold, the bridegroom cometh; go ye out to meet him,” and the sleeping virgins were roused from their slumbers, it was seen who had made preparation for the event. Both parties were
taken unawares; but one was prepared for the emergency, and the other was found without
preparation. So now, a sudden and unlooked-for calamity, something that brings the soul face
to face with death, will show whether there is any real faith in the promises of God. It will show
whether the soul is sustained by grace. The great final test comes at the close of human
probation, when it will be too late for the soul’s need to be supplied.
The ten virgins are watching in the evening of this earth’s history. All claim to be Christians. All
have a call, a name, a lamp, and all profess to be doing God’s service. All apparently wait for
Christ’s appearing. But five are unready. Five will be found surprised, dismayed, outside the
    banquet hall.
At the final day, many will claim admission to Christ’s kingdom, saying, “We have eaten and
drunk in Thy presence, and Thou hast taught in our streets.” Luke 13:26, 27; “Lord, Lord, have
we not prophesied in Thy name? and in Thy name have cast out devils? and in Thy name done
many wonderful works?” But the answer is, “I tell you, I know you not whence ye are; depart
    from Me.” Matthew 7:22. In this life they have not entered into fellowship with Christ;
therefore they know not the language of heaven, they are strangers to its joy. “What man
knoweth the things of a man, save the spirit of man which is in him? even so the things of
God knoweth no man, but the Spirit of God.” 1 Corinthians 2:11.
Saddest of all words that ever fell on mortal ear are those words of doom, “I know you not.”
The fellowship of the Spirit, which you have slighted, could alone make you one with the joyous
throng at the marriage feast. In that scene you cannot participate. Its light would fall on blinded
eyes, its melody upon deaf ears. Its love and joy could awake no chord of gladness in the world￾benumbed heart. You are shut out from heaven by your own unfitness for its companionship.
We cannot be ready to meet the Lord by waking when the cry is heard, “Behold, the
Bridegroom!” and then gathering up our empty lamps to have them replenished. We cannot
keep Christ apart from our lives here, and yet be fitted for His companionship in heaven.
In the parable the wise virgins had oil in their vessels with their lamps. Their light burned with
undimmed flame through the night of watching. It helped to swell the illumination for the
bridegroom’s honor. Shining out in the darkness, it helped to illuminate the way to the home of
the bridegroom, to the marriage feast.
So the followers of Christ are to shed light into the darkness of the world. Through the Holy
Spirit, God’s word is a light as it becomes a transforming power in the life of the receiver. By
implanting in their hearts the principles of His word, the Holy Spirit develops in men the
attributes of God. The light of His glory–His character–is to shine forth in His followers. Thus
they are to glorify God, to lighten the path to the Bridegroom’s home, to the city of God, to the
    marriage supper of the Lamb.
The coming of the bridegroom was at midnight–the darkest hour. So the coming of Christ will
take place in the darkest period of this earth’s history. The days of Noah and Lot pictured the
condition of the world just before the coming of the Son of man. The Scriptures pointing
forward to this time declare that Satan will work with all power and “with all deceivableness of
unrighteousness.” 2 Thessalonians 2:9, 10. [we surely see this today!] His working is plainly revealed by the rapidly increasing darkness, the multitudinous errors, heresies, and delusions of
these last days. Not only is Satan leading the world captive, but his deceptions are leavening the
professed churches of our Lord Jesus Christ. The great apostasy will develop into darkness deep
as midnight, impenetrable as sackcloth of hair. To God’s people it will be a night of trial, a night
of weeping, a night of persecution for the truth’s sake. But out of that night of darkness God’s
    light will shine.
He causes “the light to shine out of darkness.” 2 Corinthians 4:6. When “the earth was
without form, and void, and darkness was upon the face of the deep,” “the Spirit of God
moved upon the face of the waters. And God said, Let there be light; and there was light.”
Genesis 1:2,3. So in the night of spiritual darkness, God’s word goes forth, “Let there be light.”
To His people He says, “Arise, shine; for thy light is come, and the glory of the Lord is risen
    upon thee.” Isaiah 60:1.
“Behold, the darkness shall cover the earth, and gross darkness the people; but the Lord shall
arise upon thee, and His glory shall be seen upon thee.” Isaiah 60:2.
[Darkness refers to ignorance about God, His character, His commandments, and the true
    religion of the Bible! ]
It is the darkness of misapprehension [misunderstanding] of God that is enshrouding the world.
Men are losing their knowledge of His character. It has been misunderstood and
misinterpreted. At this time a message from God is to be proclaimed, a message illuminating in
its influence and saving in its power. His character is to be made known. Into the darkness of
the world is to be shed the light of His glory, the light of His goodness, mercy, and truth.
This is the work outlined by the prophet Isaiah in the words, “O Jerusalem, that bringest good
tidings, lift up thy voice with strength; lift it up, be not afraid; say unto the cities of Judah,
Behold your God! Behold, the Lord God will come with strong hand, and His arm shall rule for
Him; behold, His reward is with Him, and His work before Him.” Isaiah 40:9,10.
Those who wait for the Bridegroom’s coming are to say to the people, “Behold your God.” The
last rays of merciful light, the last message of mercy to be given to the world, is a revelation of
His character of love. The children of God are to manifest His glory. In their own life and
character they are to reveal what the grace of God has done for them.
The light of the Sun of Righteousness is to shine forth in good works–in words of truth and
    deeds of holiness.
Christ, the outshining of the Father’s glory, came to the world as its light. He came to represent
God to men, and of Him it is written that He was anointed “with the Holy Ghost and with
power,” and “went about doing good.” Acts 10:38. In the synagogue at Nazareth He said, “The
    Spirit of the Lord is upon Me, because He hath anointed Me to preach the gospel to the poor;
He hath sent Me to heal the brokenhearted, to preach deliverance to the captives, and
recovering of sight to the blind, to set at liberty them that are bruised, to preach the
acceptable year of the Lord.” Luke 4:18, 19. This was the work He commissioned His disciples
to do. “Ye are the light of the world,” He said. “Let your light so shine before men, that they
may see your good works, and glorify your Father which is in heaven.” Matthew 5:14, 16.

Jesus’ Second Coming and the Counterfeit!

This is the work which the prophet Isaiah describes when he says, “Is it not to deal thy bread to
the hungry, and that thou bring the poor that are cast out to thy house? when thou seest the
naked, that thou cover him; and that thou hide not thyself from thine own flesh? Then shall
thy light break forth as the morning, and thine health shall spring forth speedily; and thy
righteousness shall go before thee; the glory of the Lord shall be thy rere-ward. [protection
    from behind]” Isaiah 58:7, 8.
Thus in the night of spiritual darkness God’s glory is to shine forth through His church in lifting
up the bowed down and comforting those that mourn.
All around us are heard the wails of a world’s sorrow. On every hand are the needy and
distressed. It is ours to aid in relieving and softening life’s hardships and misery.
Practical work will have far more effect than mere sermonizing. We are to give food to the
hungry, clothing to the naked, and shelter to the homeless. And we are called to do more than
this. The wants of the soul, only the love of Christ can satisfy. If Christ is abiding in us, our
hearts will be full of divine sympathy. The sealed fountains of earnest, Christlike love will be
    unsealed.
God calls not only for our gifts for the needy, but for our cheerful countenance, our hopeful
words, our kindly handclasp. When Christ healed the sick, He laid His hands upon them. So
should we come in close touch with those whom we seek to benefit.
There are many from whom hope has departed. Bring back the sunshine to them. Many have
lost their courage. Speak to them words of cheer. Pray for them. There are those who need the
bread of life. Read to them from the word of God. Upon many is a soul sickness which no
earthly balm can reach nor physician heal. Pray for these souls, bring them to Jesus. Tell them
that there is a balm in Gilead and a Physician there.
Light is a blessing, a universal blessing, pouring forth its treasures on a world unthankful,
unholy, demoralized. So it is with the light of the Sun of Righteousness. The whole earth,
wrapped as it is in the darkness of sin, and sorrow, and pain, is to be lighted with the
knowledge of God’s love. From no sect, rank, or class of people is the light shining from
    heaven’s throne to be excluded.
The message of hope and mercy is to be carried to the ends of the earth. Whosoever will, may
reach forth and take hold of God’s strength and make peace with Him, and he shall make
peace. No longer are the heathen to be wrapped in midnight darkness. The gloom is to
disappear before the bright beams of the Sun of Righteousness. The power of hell has been
    overcome.
But no man can impart that which he himself has not received. In the work of God, humanity
can originate nothing. No man can by his own effort make himself a light bearer for God. It was
the golden oil emptied by the heavenly messengers into the golden tubes, to be conducted
from the golden bowl into the lamps of the sanctuary, that produced a continuous bright and
shining light. It is the love of God continually transferred to man that enables him to impart
light. Into the hearts of all who are united to God by faith the golden oil of love flows freely, to
shine out again in good works, in real, heartfelt service for God.

In the great and measureless gift of the Holy Spirit are contained all of heaven’s resources. It is
not because of any restriction on the part of God that the riches of His grace do not flow
earthward to men. If all were willing to receive, all would become filled with His Spirit.
It is the privilege of every soul to be a living channel through which God can communicate to
the world the treasures of His grace, the unsearchable riches of Christ. There is nothing that
Christ desires so much as agents who will represent to the world His Spirit and character. There
is nothing that the world needs so much as the manifestation through humanity of the Saviour’s
love. All heaven is waiting for channels through which can be poured the holy oil to be a joy and
    blessing to human hearts.
Christ has made every provision that His church shall be a transformed body, illumined with the
Light of the world, possessing the glory of Emmanuel. It is His purpose that every Christian shall
be surrounded with a spiritual atmosphere of light and peace. He desires that we shall reveal
His own joy in our lives.
The indwelling of the Spirit will be shown by the outflowing of heavenly love. The divine fullness
will flow through the consecrated human agent, to be given forth to others.
The Sun of Righteousness has “healing in His wings.” Malachi 4:2. So from every true disciple is
to be diffused an influence for life, courage, helpfulness, and true healing.
The religion of Christ means more than the forgiveness of sin; it means taking away our sins,
and filling the vacuum with the graces of the Holy Spirit. It means divine illumination, rejoicing
in God. It means a heart emptied of self, and blessed with the abiding presence of Christ. When
Christ reigns in the soul, there is purity, freedom from sin. The glory, the fullness, the
completeness of the gospel plan is fulfilled in the life. The acceptance of the Saviour brings a
glow of perfect peace, perfect love, perfect assurance. The beauty and fragrance of the
character of Christ revealed in the life testifies that God has indeed sent His Son into the world
    to be its Saviour.
Christ does not bid His followers strive to shine. He says, Let your light shine. If you have
received the grace of God, the light is in you. Remove the obstructions, and the Lord’s glory will
be revealed. The light will shine forth to penetrate and dispel the darkness. You cannot help
shining within the range of your influence.
The revelation of His own glory in the form of humanity will bring heaven so near to men that
the beauty adorning the inner temple will be seen in every soul in whom the Saviour dwells.
Men will be captivated by the glory of an abiding Christ. And in currents of praise and
thanksgiving from the many souls thus won to God, glory will flow back to the great Giver.
“Arise, shine; for thy light is come, and the glory of the Lord is risen upon thee.” Isaiah 60:1.
To those who go out to meet the Bridegroom is this message given. Christ is coming with power
and great glory. He is coming with His own glory and with the glory of the Father. He is coming
with all the holy angels with Him. While all the world is plunged in darkness, there will be light
in every dwelling of the saints. They will catch the first light of His second appearing. The
unsullied light will shine from His splendor, and Christ the Redeemer will be admired by all who
have served Him. While the wicked flee from His presence, Christ’s followers will rejoice.

The patriarch Job, looking down to the time of Christ’s second advent, said, “Whom I shall see
for myself, and mine eyes shall behold, and not a stranger.” Job 19:27, margin. To His faithful
followers Christ has been a daily companion and familiar friend. They have lived in close
contact, in constant communion with God. Upon them the glory of the Lord has risen. In them
the light of the knowledge of the glory of God in the face of Jesus Christ has been reflected.
Now they rejoice in the undimmed rays of the brightness and glory of the King in His majesty.
They are prepared for the communion of heaven; for they have heaven in their hearts.
With uplifted heads, with the bright beams of the Sun of Righteousness shining upon them,
with rejoicing that their redemption draweth nigh, they go forth to meet the Bridegroom,
saying, “Lo, this is our God; we have waited for Him, and He will save us.” Isaiah 25:9.
“And I heard as it were the voice of a great multitude, and as the voice of many waters, and
as the voice of mighty thunderings, saying, Alleluia; for the Lord God omnipotent reigneth.
Let us be glad and rejoice, and give honour to Him; for the marriage of the Lamb is come, and
His wife hath made herself ready. . . . And he saith unto me, Write, Blessed are they which
are called unto the marriage supper of the Lamb.” “He is Lord of lords, and King of kings; and
they that are with Him are called, and chosen, and faithful.” Revelation 19:6-9; 17:14.
Another special text of promises for us today is Psalm 91. Study the entire chapter. The psalms
can contain prophetic meanings as well. Here are some thoughts from that amazing promise.
“3 Surely he shall deliver thee from the snare of the fowler, and from the [noisome
pestilence].” These two words are actually one Hebrew word, hav-vaw’, that means, “(in the
sense of eagerly coveting and rushing upon; by implication, of falling); desire; also ruin:–
calamity, iniquity, mischief, mischievous (thing), naughtiness, naughty, noisome, perverse thing,
substance, very wickedness.” Doesn’t this fit the situation today perfectly?
4 He shall cover thee with his feathers, and under his wings shalt thou trust: his truth shall be
    thy shield and buckler.
5 Thou shalt not be afraid for the terror by night; nor for the arrow that flieth by day;” This
covers the fear being pushed on people through all the media—and the ‘arrow’ can also mean
dart or wound—the mandatory drug-shots perhaps?
6 Nor for the pestilence that walketh in darkness; nor for the destruction that wasteth at
noonday.” This ‘pestilence’ is a different word and does mean a plague—the darkness means
the lies and what they are hiding from the people.
7 A thousand shall fall at thy side, and ten thousand at thy right hand; but it shall not come
nigh thee.” This will happen unless the Lord chooses to turn it back—but His hands are over His
people who really serve him and trust His Word!
We need to anchor in the Word and that will bring that total peace and calmness. I have read of
those who had this perfect peace, even in life-threatening situations. Bible promises indicate
the Lord wants us to have it, He said He left it to us! Like a going away present! “Peace I leave
with you, my peace I give unto you: not as the world giveth, give I unto you. Let not your
heart be troubled, neither let it be afraid.” John 14:27. He had this peace even though He
knew He was going into great suffering! Let us ask Him for it and seek it in His Word today!

    Amen !

    God bless

Berean……2 Ths 2….. is talking about the False Christ that sits in the temple  of God “the true temple of God”. Not a false temple, but the true temple,  now, who do you know that is a “MAN”  and is “NOW” being presented as a God? ,  is it not Jesus Christ himself that has taken a seat in the “true” temple of God and being preached or displayed as a God?

THE “FALSE”, IMAGE OF JESUS SITTING IN THE TEMPLE OF GOD AND BEING WORSHIPED AS A GOD,  IS EXACTLY WHAT 2 THS 2 IS TALKING ABOUT.  No need to think a man disguised as a God is coming,  the Trinity has already done that for you.

Jesus said ‘many” would come and say (I am). I AM ?, what, a God,  and deceive “many”  that’s “THE LIE”  That , turns the “IMAGE” of the “man” Jesus,  into a God.  It’s the preaching of a lie about Jesus Christ being a God , it breakers the Law of God , and creates the ‘MAN OF SIN” .  Sin is the transgression of the Law.

TELL us who on this earth would believe any human being who say he is a God now days?, no one would be that stupid to present himself as a God, not even the POPE , WOULD BE THAT STUPID EITHER , only a TRINITARIAN would present  “the man Jesus as their God”.  You need not look for a “man” of sin to come,  he has been here for nearly 1900 years now.

peace and love to you and yours Berean……….gene

In 1 Thessalonians, believers were in danger of losing hope in the Second Coming. In 2 Thessalonians, Paul faced the opposite extreme, the idea that the Second Coming was either very imminent or already present in some spiritual way.

Paul writes, however, that before Jesus returns a ‘man of sin’ must be revealed (2 Thess. 2 : 3), whose coming is ‘restrained’ (vv. 6-7) until the proper time.

Who is the “man of sin” that must be revealed before Jesus comes?

“A comparison with Daniel’s prophecy of the blasphemous power that succeeds that of pagan Rome (see Dan. 7 : 8, 19 – 26), and with John’s word picture of leopardlike beast (see Rev. 13 : 1-18), reveals many similarities between the three descriptions. This leads to the conclusion that Daniel, Paul and John are speaking of the same power, namely, the papacy

The man of sin, the Antichrist, will be “revealed in his own time” (v. 6). This time was the 1260-year period of domination of the papacy.

    Life Application

We have been in the end time since the revelation of the man of sin. As God used Noah to give the last warning message to his world, so He has raised the Seventh-day Adventist Church to give the last warning message to our world. Our message is found in Revelation 14 : 6 – 12. It is noteworthy that as soon as the third angel finishes his work, Jesus comes the second time to take His people home (see Rev. 14 : 14, 15). Day by day, we are getting nearer and nearer to the end. Therefore we are asked to “Sound an alarm throughout the length and breadth of the earth. Tell the people that the day of the Lord is near, and hasteth greatly. Let none be left unwarned.

Berean………You couldn’t be more wrong even if you tried my friend.  No where in scripture does it say the man of sin will come at the very “time of Jesus’ return.” , in fact Paul even said the mystery of iniquity was already existing even in his day  as he said in 2 ths 2,  check it out,    You have been taken in by fallen Christianity, the APOSTATE CHURCHES , are the servants and ministers of Satan himself. And the biggest sign is the sign of the TRINITY.

If you were of the truth you would already know that Berean.

This is the pure imagination of the SDA and other Protestant Churches’ propaganda stating that Papacy is the Anti-Christ’s Government. And 1260-years is another great blunder of Adventists and other numerologists whose calculations failed miserably in the history of Christianity .

    Hi Gadam

Please, try to prove your statements by the Word of God and we will see later. The problem is that you only believe in the old testament, and still…

Hello Berean, I don’t believe anything here now. In fact I am a rationalist on the ancient texts including the Old Testament or the Hebrew Bible. I have already quoted much on the numbers of the book of Daniel which was written by a Pseudo writer in 2nd Century BCE during the time of Maccabees when the so called Little Horn,  Antiochus-IV, the Grecian (Syrian) tyrant King who had desecrated the Jerusalem Temple and killed thousands of Jews. But both Jews and Christians misinterpreted the book of Daniel and applied it to their own religious propaganda. Every time they failed in their interpretations as the book never meant for any future timeline.

The Little Horn: Antiochus IV Epiphanes? Or, Rome?

The Little Horn: Antiochus IV Epiphanes? Or, Rome?
There are several reasons why the little horn mentioned in Daniel 8 could not be
    Antiochus IV Epiphanes.
    1. A careful look at the “gender” when describing the source of the little horn in the Hebrew
shows that the little horn was to arise from one of the four winds or one of the four
directions of the compass and not from one of the horns. [Note that Hebrew nouns have
    gender.]
    2. Daniel 8:23 indicates that the little horn will arise at the latter end of the Seleucid kingdom.
Antiochus IV Epiphanes arose about the middle of the Seleucid kings and not at the end.
The Seleucid dynasty ran from 312/311 to 65 B.C. Antiochus IV Epiphanes reigned from
175 to 164 B.C. Rome arose just at the end of the Greek kingdoms.
    3. The little horn was to prosper (Daniel 8:12) and grow exceedingly great. (Daniel 8:9)
Antiochus IV Epiphanes did neither of those. In fact, he was referred to by
    contemporaries as Athe madman.@
    4. The little horn was to grow exceedingly great toward the south, toward the east, and
toward the the glorious land.” (Daniel 8:9) After a short-lived triumph in the the south (Egypt),
Antiochus IV Epiphanes was totally defeated when the Roman ambassador, C. Popilius
Laenas, merely informed him that the Roman Senate wanted him to leave. The Roman
ambassador drew a circle around Antiochus with his cane and demanded a decision
before he stepped out of it. (See Livy, History of Rome, 45.12.)

    Antiochus Epiphanes did
not succeed in the east either. He died under obscure circumstances in his campaign in
Mesopotamia. Even in Palestine, referred to as the glorious land, (Daniel 8:9, NKJV*)
where he initially seemed to be successful, he ultimately lost all of that land when
Palestine became temporarily free under the Maccabees.
    5. Horns in the symbolism of Daniel always referred to kingdoms and never to individual
    kings.
    6. The period of time during which Antiochus IV Epiphanes was in control of Jerusalem
cannot be fitted with 2300 days or 2300 evenings and mornings. The best contemporary
account found in 1 Maccabees 1:54-59; 4:52-54 overwhelmingly states very precisely
that he succeeded in interrupting the temple services for three years and 10 days (from
    Chislev 15, 168 B.C. to Chislev 25, 165 B.C.). While 1 Maccabees 1:54 applies the phrase
Adesolating sacrilege,” taken from Daniel 9:27 in the Greek, to what Antiochus IV
Epiphanes did in Jerusalem by erecting an idol in the temple grounds and sacrificing a pig
nearby, Jesus in his discourse from the Mount of Olives said that Daniel’s “desolating sacrilege” was still future as of His day. (See Matthew 24:15.) He added, Let the reader understand.

Why do we believe the little horn of Daniel 8 is Rome?
    1. On the principal that Daniel’s visions parallel each other, it is clear that Rome followed
Greece in Daniel 2 and 7. Thus, Rome should follow Greece in Daniel 8 as well.
    2. As mentioned above, Rome arose in the west—out of one of the four winds or directions.
    3. Historically, it is clear that papal Rome grew out of pagan Rome. Thus, the Roman bishop
was a successor to the Roman emperor. Therefore, it is appropriate for them both to be
represented by a single horn or single kingdom.
    4. The Roman Empire did successfully take control of the Middle East at the latter end of the
reign of the Hellenistic or Greek kingdoms. (Daniel 8:23)
    5. While Antiochus IV Epiphanes lost much of the territory he received from his father, Rome
in fulfillment of the prophecy Agrew exceedingly great toward the south, toward the east,
and toward the Glorious Land.@ (Daniel 8:9, NKJV*)
    6. Pagan Rome emphatically and tragically magnified itself against “the Prince of the host.”
(KJV*) It was under Roman authority that Jesus was crucified.
    7. Both pagan Rome and Christian Rome destroyed Amighty men and the people of the
saints, (Daniel 8:24, RSV*) i.e., many Christians were persecuted by Rome throughout its history.
    8. Both pagan Rome and Christian Rome attempted to destroy, replace, or do away with the
“continual burnt offering” (tamid) and the sanctuary known to Daniel and his
predecessors. Not only was Herod’s Temple destroyed and torn completely down by the
Roman armies, but also in the 130s A.D., the Roman emperor, Hadrian, constructed a
    pagan temple in Jerusalem.
    9. Papal Rome has done its best to replace the tamid or “continuous ministry of Christ in the
sanctuary of Heaven” (God Cares, vol. 1) with a system of human priests and ministries
    10. In 1733, Sir Isaac Newton, the celebrated scientist who first explained the principle
of gravity, wrote the following about Daniel 9 and Antiochus IV Epiphanes.
This last horn is by some taken for Antiochus Epiphanes, but not very
judiciously. A horn of a beast is never taken for a single person: it always
signifies a new kingdom, and the kingdom of Antiochus was an old one.
Antiochus reigned over one of the four horns, and the little horn was a fifth
under its proper kings. This horn was at first a little one, and waxed
exceeding great, but so did not Antiochus. It is described great above all the
former horns, and so was not Antiochus. His kingdom, on the contrary was
weak, and tributary to the Romans, and he did not enlarge it. The horn was

a king of fierce countenance, and destroyed wonderfully, and prospered
and practiced; i.e. he prospered in his practices against the holy people: but
Antiochus was frightened out of Egypt by a mere message of the Romans,
and afterwards routed and baffled by the Jews. The horn was mighty by
another’s power, Antiochus acted by his own. The horn stood up against
“the prince of the host of Heaven”, the Prince of Princes; and this is the
character not of Antiochus but of antichrist. The horn cast down the
sanctuary to the ground, and so did not Antiochus; he left it standing. The
sanctuary and host were trampled underfoot 2300 days; and in Daniel’s
prophecy days are put for years; but the profanation of the temple in the
reign of Antiochus did not last for so many natural days. These were to last
    till the time of the end, till the last end of the indignation against the Jews;
and this indignation is not yet at an end. They were to last till the sanctuary
which had been cast down should be cleansed, and this sanctuary is not yet
cleansed. Sir Isaac Newton=s Daniel and the Apocalypse, eds., Sir William
Whitla (London: John Murray, 1922), page 222.—[as quoted in God Cares,
    vol. 1, 185-186].

Persecution of the Jews (1 Maccabees 1:20-40)
20 After subduing Egypt, Antiochus returned in the one hundred forty-third year.[c] He went up against Israel and came to Jerusalem with a strong force. 21 He arrogantly entered the sanctuary and took the golden altar, the lampstand for the light, and all its utensils. 22 He took also the table for the bread of the Presence, the cups for drink offerings, the bowls, the golden censers, the curtain, the crowns, and the gold decoration on the front of the temple; he stripped it all off. 23 He took the silver and the gold, and the costly vessels; he took also the hidden treasures that he found. 24 Taking them all, he went into his own land.

    He shed much blood,
    and spoke with great arrogance.
25 Israel mourned deeply in every community,
    26     rulers and elders groaned,
young women and young men became faint,
the beauty of the women faded.
    27 Every bridegroom took up the lament;
she who sat in the bridal chamber was mourning.
28 Even the land trembled for its inhabitants,
and all the house of Jacob was clothed with shame.
    The Occupation of Jerusalem
29 Two years later the king sent to the cities of Judah a chief collector of tribute, and he came to Jerusalem with a large force. 30 Deceitfully he spoke peaceable words to them, and they believed him; but he suddenly fell upon the city, dealt it a severe blow, and destroyed many people of Israel. 31 He plundered the city, burned it with fire, and tore down its houses and its surrounding walls. 32 They took captive the women and children, and seized the livestock. 33 Then they fortified the city of David with a great strong wall and strong towers, and it became their citadel. 34 They stationed there a sinful people, men who were renegades. These strengthened their position; 35 they stored up arms and food, and collecting the spoils of Jerusalem they stored them there, and became a great menace,

36 for the citadel[d] became an ambush against the sanctuary,
an evil adversary of Israel at all times.
    37 On every side of the sanctuary they shed innocent blood;
    they even defiled the sanctuary.
    38 Because of them the residents of Jerusalem fled;
    she became a dwelling of strangers;
she became strange to her offspring,
    and her children forsook her.
    39 Her sanctuary became desolate like a desert;
her feasts were turned into mourning,
    her sabbaths into a reproach,
    her honor into contempt.
    40 Her dishonor now grew as great as her glory;
her exaltation was turned into mourning.

Cleansing and Dedication of the Temple (1 Maccabees 4:36-60)
36 Then Judas and his brothers said, “See, our enemies are crushed; let us go up to cleanse the sanctuary and dedicate it.” 37 So all the army assembled and went up to Mount Zion. 38 There they saw the sanctuary desolate, the altar profaned, and the gates burned. In the courts they saw bushes sprung up as in a thicket, or as on one of the mountains. They saw also the chambers of the priests in ruins. 39 Then they tore their clothes and mourned with great lamentation; they sprinkled themselves with ashes 40 and fell face down on the ground. And when the signal was given with the trumpets, they cried out to Heaven.

41 Then Judas detailed men to fight against those in the citadel until he had cleansed the sanctuary. 42 He chose blameless priests devoted to the law, 43 and they cleansed the sanctuary and removed the defiled stones to an unclean place. 44 They deliberated what to do about the altar of burnt offering, which had been profaned. 45 And they thought it best to tear it down, so that it would not be a lasting shame to them that the Gentiles had defiled it. So they tore down the altar, 46 and stored the stones in a convenient place on the temple hill until a prophet should come to tell what to do with them. 47 Then they took unhewn[d] stones, as the law directs, and built a new altar like the former one. 48 They also rebuilt the sanctuary and the interior of the temple, and consecrated the courts. 49 They made new holy vessels, and brought the lampstand, the altar of incense, and the table into the temple. 50 Then they offered incense on the altar and lit the lamps on the lampstand, and these gave light in the temple. 51 They placed the bread on the table and hung up the curtains. Thus they finished all the work they had undertaken.

52 Early in the morning on the twenty-fifth day of the ninth month, which is the month of Chislev, in the one hundred forty-eighth year,[e] 53 they rose and offered sacrifice, as the law directs, on the new altar of burnt offering that they had built. 54 At the very season and on the very day that the Gentiles had profaned it, it was dedicated with songs and harps and lutes and cymbals. 55 All the people fell on their faces and worshiped and blessed Heaven, who had prospered them. 56 So they celebrated the dedication of the altar for eight days, and joyfully offered burnt offerings; they offered a sacrifice of well-being and a thanksgiving offering. 57 They decorated the front of the temple with golden crowns and small shields; they restored the gates and the chambers for the priests, and fitted them with doors. 58 There was very great joy among the people, and the disgrace brought by the Gentiles was removed.

59 Then Judas and his brothers and all the assembly of Israel determined that every year at that season the days of dedication of the altar should be observed with joy and gladness for eight days, beginning with the twenty-fifth day of the month of Chislev.

60 At that time they fortified Mount Zion with high walls and strong towers all around, to keep the Gentiles from coming and trampling them down as they had done before. 61 Judas[f] stationed a garrison there to guard it; he also fortified Beth-zur to guard it, so that the people might have a stronghold that faced Idumea.

The above passages clearly show that the so called Little Horn mentioned in the Chapters of 8 & 11 of Daniel was Antiochus IV of Grecian King and Rome is no where mentioned in both Daniel and 1 Maccabees. It was purely the imagination of the later Jewish and Christian stating that the Little Horn will be an Anti-Christ arising from Roman Empire or from Papacy.

    DANIEL 12

And I heard, but I understood not: then said I, O my Lord, what shall be the end of these things?
[9] And he said, Go thy way, Daniel: for the words are closed up and sealed till the time of the end.

The above were the words of the Pseudo writer in the 2nd Century BCE who acted like the Sixth Century BCE Character Daniel. He wanted us to imagine his Pseudo writing to be a prophecy of Sixth BCE. In fact the end of time for this writer was only 2nd Century BCE and nothing beyond that.

    Gadam,

What you say is false and comes from the devil…
Daniel is a true prophet AND for sur It is not the spirit of truth that instructs you.

    Gadam,

What you say is false and comes from the devil…
Daniel is a true prophet AND for sur It is not the spirit of truth that instructs you.

    The Devil is another creation of the NT writers and Christianity. Here is the truth about this writer of Daniel as per the historians;

    Pseudepigrapha

Pseudepigrapha (also anglicized as “pseudepigraph” or “pseudepigraphs”) are falsely attributed works, texts whose claimed author is not the true author, or a work whose real author attributed it to a figure of the past.

In biblical studies, the term pseudepigrapha can refer to an assorted collection of Jewish religious works thought to be written c. 300 BCE to 300 CE. They are distinguished by Protestants from the deuterocanonical books (Catholic and Orthodox) or Apocrypha (Protestant), the books that appear in extant copies of the Septuagint in the fourth century or later and the Vulgate, but not in the Hebrew Bible or in Protestant Bibles. The Catholic Church distinguishes only between the deuterocanonical and all other books; the latter are called biblical apocrypha, which in Catholic usage includes the pseudepigrapha. In addition, two books considered canonical in the Orthodox Tewahedo churches, the Book of Enoch and Book of Jubilees, are categorized as pseudepigrapha from the point of view of Chalcedonian Christianity.

In addition to the sets of generally agreed to be non-canonical works, scholars will also apply the term to canonical works who make a direct claim of authorship, yet this authorship is doubted. For example, the Book of Daniel is widely considered to have been written in the 2nd century BCE, 400 years after the prophet Daniel lived, and thus the work is pseudepigraphy. A New Testament example might be the book of 2 Peter, widely considered to be written approximately 80 years after Saint Peter’s death. Early Christians, such as Origen, harboured doubts as to the authenticity of the book’s authorship.

Various canonical works accepted as scripture have since been re-examined and considered by modern scholars in the 19th century onward as likely cases of pseudepigrapha. The Book of Daniel directly claims to be written by the prophet Daniel, yet there are strong reasons to believe it was not written until centuries after Daniel’s death, such as references to the book only appearing in the 2nd century BCE and onward. The book is an apocalypse wherein Daniel offers a series of predictions of the future, and is meant to reassure the Jews of the period that the tyrant Antiochus IV Epiphanes would soon be overthrown. By backdating the book to the 6th century BCE and providing a series of correct prophecies as to the history of the past 400 years, the authorship claim of Daniel strengthens the true author’s predictions of the coming fall of the Seleucid Empire.

    Gadam

For when they shall say, Peace and safety; then sudden destruction cometh upon them, as travail upon a woman with child; and they shall not escape.(1Thes.5:3)

Mathew 24 :37 But as the days of Noe were, so shall also the coming of the Son of man be.
[38] For as in the days that were before the flood they were eating and drinking, marrying and giving in marriage, until the day that Noe entered into the ark,
[39] And knew not until the flood came, and took them all away; so shall also the coming of the Son of man be.

Those were the words of speculations of the NT writers in the First Century CE. There is no end for such predictions in these Two Millennium.

See how the UNPREPARED nations WILL BE AT CHRIST’S SECOND COMING:

    👇
    Revelation1
[7] Behold, he (Jesus)cometh with clouds; and every eye shall see him, and they also which pierced him: and all kindreds of the earth SHALL WAIL because of HIM(Jesus). Even so, Amen.

    👇
    In Matthew 24:
    Also
And then shall appear the sign of the Son of man in heaven: and then SHALL ALL THE TRIBES OF THE EARTH MOURN, and they shall see the Son of man coming in the clouds of heaven with power and great glory.
[31] And he shall send his angels with a great sound of a trumpet, and they shall gather together his elect from the four winds, from one end of heaven to the other.

Gadam, do you want to be among those who lament seeing Christ coming on the clouds OR among those who will be gathered by the angels of Christ to meet him.

    👇

1 Thess.4:16 For the Lord Himself, at a given signal, at the voice of the archangel, and at the sound of the trumpet of God, will come down from heaven, and the dead in Christ shall rise first.

4:17 Then we the living who are left behind will all be caught up together with them in the clouds to meet the Lord in the air, and so we will always be with the Lord.

John 14:14:3 And when I have gone away and prepared a place for you, I WILL COME BACK AND TAKE YOU WITH ME, that where I am you may also be there.
