Ed,
The Roman Empire fell to Catholicism, which is at best heresy. Its teachings accuse God of being tempted by evil and cover-ups that claims disagreement with Scripture by claiming logic can not challenge the teaching. Of course that does not appeal to enough so they claim Jesus is a human being at the same time he is the one true God but the two are not mixed so that Jesus the human is tempted while Jesus the God is not. Islam does not accuse God of being tempted by evil in that same way if it does in any way.
So you claim that 1) there are not feet of a mixture of clay and iron and 2) the statue was smashed by the church of Satan that became the state religion of the legs of iron. Prophecy holds that after the empire of the silver legs there would be a “empire” of iron mixed with clay and it is held that the Roman Empire with its capital in Rome and its second capital in Constantinople would be the Empire of Iron.
Christians were persecuted before and after the Catholic church became the state religion of Rome. The change of religions did herald the fall of the Western Roman Empire, which would last only about another century. The Eastern Empire that was over much of the land ruled by Nebuchadnezzar would last much longer. I do not know if they continued to oppose non-Catholic churches after the fall of the Western Empire but I do know the Catholic church in the west did.

January 23, 2016 at 12:04 pm#807672kerwinParticipantEd,
What it means is that I read what I think was the right passage but the website in question did a poor job of citing its sources so I am not sure. In other words at best it was poor quality scholarship and at worst an outright lie most likely repeated from another source of dubious nature.
The actual verse I found was anti-Trinidadian and bashed the Jews for calling someone a son of God. It seemed to claim that the Jews believe this someone was God. Even Islamist have trouble understanding what the accusations is though they have their opinions. It also states the God will judge, condemn, etc Jews and Christians for holding these false views.
In general Islam hold both Christians and Jews are aliens and should be treated just like OT Scriptures teaches aliens that dwell in the Promised Land should be treated. In short they are to be treated as second class citizens. An alliance of both Muslims and Jews took Jerusalem and the Muslims of that time allowed Jews to worship in Jerusalem.
Evangelizing is a crime for any other religion but Islam and those that convert from Islam to either Christianity or Judaism are put to death but I am not sure if either of these actions are supported by the Koran. I believe it is possible.

Yes.
January 23, 2016 at 7:18 pm#807703terrariccaParticipantwell no one want to answer the questions ? why
January 27, 2016 at 3:13 pm#807969ProclaimerParticipantNot just the American Terr and some perhaps not the American at all. Unless you adhere to certain conspiracy theories.
As for multiculturalism. America is a land of immigrants. So it is multi-cultural. What is the point you are making?
January 27, 2016 at 3:22 pm#807970ProclaimerParticipantAmen t8. I mostly agree with your post above, (apart from the last paragraph – but you did say “could”, so “could” is how I would see it too).
Yes, ‘could’. I nearly always say ‘could’ when speaking of prophecy. Rarely if ever, do I make a statement as to the absoluteness of something in the future happening in a certain way.
January 27, 2016 at 3:28 pm#807971ProclaimerParticipantI do not see Islam as any less Christians as Trinitarians and it is known Christian Rome persecuted Jewish Christian and other Christians long before Islam appeared on the seen.
I agree. One point of difference regarding confession. Islam outright denies Jesus as the son of God, thus qualifying as coming from the Antichrist spirit according to the Bible. Trinitarians believe that he is the Son of God, but also say he is God, thus denying he is the son in deed, but not blatantly. Many agree he is the son, but it is a mystery to them as how he can be God too.
January 27, 2016 at 3:54 pm#807974terrariccaParticipantmulticulturalism is OK providing they come from a similar religion culture ;if not like Islam they will not assimilate and grow to overthrow the country that has welcome them out of their own stupidity ,
look what happen around the world now Europe wakes up and many western countries are really fed up with them ,
so are the USA ,and we will see interesting changes in the next two years ,
they will eat up their Caliphate, sure there will be a cost to it ,but that will be at God’s discretion,
let see it
January 27, 2016 at 4:07 pm#807977kerwinParticipant@t8,
I do not know much about Islam, nor what they believe about Jesus. I know both they and Hinduism believe in them. Like the Trinitarians their Jesus is not the one testified in Scripture.
I do not think confessing Jesus the Christ with is significant when your heart is far from him.
January 27, 2016 at 10:23 pm#807996ProclaimerParticipantThey deny that Jesus is the son of God. They accept him as the messiah, except he didn’t die on a cross for the sins of humanity (according to them), so what they exactly mean by messiah may not qualify as messiah at all. They do believe he is a prophet though, but they also believe that the Bible is corrupt, thus the Jesus they believe in is certainly a different one that is spoken of in the Bible.
January 27, 2016 at 10:31 pm#807997ProclaimerParticipantterraricca, ISIS broke away from al-Qaeda, and al-Qaeda, started from the Afghan mujahideen (I think).
If ISIS fail, or cannot make enough progress for the Caliphate, then perhaps the next wave whatever that maybe will try. And maybe they will be worse as each new group seems to be worse than the predecessor. al-Qaeda disowned ISIS as they were too radical, among other reasons.
January 27, 2016 at 10:35 pm#807998ProclaimerParticipantScripture talks about iron mixed with clay. The word ‘mix’ is the word ‘arab’ in Aramaic. Perhaps the Arabs moving into Europe (Roman Empire/Iron) is the iron mixing with the clay.
Daniel 2:42-44
“As the toes of the feet were partly of iron and partly of pottery, so some of the kingdom will be strong and part of it will be brittle. “And in that you saw the iron mixed with common clay, they will combine with one another in the seed of men; but they will not adhere to one another, even as iron does not combine with pottery. “In the days of those kings the God of heaven will set up a kingdom which will never be destroyed, and that kingdom will not be left for another people; it will crush and put an end to all these kingdoms, but it will itself endure forever.…January 28, 2016 at 12:39 am#808015MiiaParticipantThe bible asserts islam is destined for destruction.
EdJ, the bible asserts the sinner is destined for destruction. That can include the Christian, as I’m sure you should know. “Lord, Lord, did we not prophecy in your name, and in your name cast out demons, and work miracles in your name”? Then I will declare to them, “I never knew you. Away from me you workers of Lawlessness”. (Matt 7.22).
Don’t be too cosy.
January 28, 2016 at 12:51 am#808019MiiaParticipantEd,
they want to kill all Christians, including you.
So????
Don’t you get it yet?“So have no fear of them, for nothing is covered that will not be revealed, or hidden that will not be known. What I tell you in the dark, say in the light, and what you hear whispered, proclaim on the housetops. And do not fear those who kill the body but cannot kill the soul. Rather fear him who can destroy both soul and body in hell. Are not two sparrows sold for a penny? And not one of them will fall to the ground apart from your Father. But even the hairs of your head are all numbered. Fear not, therefore; you are of more value than many sparrows. So everyone who acknowledges me before men, I also will acknowledge before my Father who is in heaven, but whoever denies me before men, I also will deny before my Father who is in heaven. (Matt 10.26)
But that’s just the start, Ed.
That’s only one verse…
There’s also loving your neighbor (you don’t get it…).The power of prayer? Love and salvation?
