Some that are still repenting, don't seem to accept the fact that Jesus died for our sins, past present, and future. Scripture is saying… “Yet all is of God, Who conciliates us to Himself through Christ, and is giving us the dispensation of the conciliation,
19 how that God was in Christ, conciliating the world to Himself, not reckoning their offenses to them, and placing in us the word of the conciliation.
NOTICE: “not reckoning their offenses to them”!!! Still repenting? Shame on you, ignoring His sacrifice, what an insult!Blessings, Jerry.

Your understanding of scripture is confused, you apply scripture which was given by God to His chosen people, “Israel”, under the “Old Covenant”, and obedience to “the Law”. The “Nations” were never under the law, in fact they were without God, see Eph2:11-12 …11 Wherefore, remember that once you, the nations in flesh — who are termed 'Uncircumcision' by those termed 'Circumcision,' in flesh, made by hands —
12 that you were, in that era, apart from Christ, being alienated from the citizenship of Israel, and guests of the promise covenants, having no expectation, and without God in the world. As I said in another thread to you, we must “correctly cut the word of truth” (2Tim.2:15)
You must understand that the scripures for us today, are Pauls epistles to the Nations.
Blessings, Jerry.

Notice “according to my evangel” . This is Paul making this statement, he is saying “my evangel”, the one commissioned by Christ Jesus, which is the “Grace of God”.Blessings, Jerry.

1Cor.8:6 … nevertheless for us there is one God, the Father, “out of Whom all is”, and we for Him, and one Lord, Jesus Christ, through Whom all is, and we through Him.
7 But not in all is there this knowledge. Now some, used hitherto to the idol, are eating of it as an idol sacrifice, and their conscience, being weak, is being polluted.1Cor.11:12 … For even as the woman is out of the man, thus the man also is through the woman, yet “all is of God”.
2Cor.5:18 …”Yet all is of God”, Who conciliates us to Himself through Christ, and is giving us the dispensation of the conciliation,
Ro.11:35-36 …35 or, who gives to Him first, and it will be repaid Him?
36 seeing that “out of Him and through Him and for Him is all:” to Him be the glory for the eons! Amen!Notice that these verses are saying that: “ALL IS OF GOD”, nothing is of us!
Ro.8:33-34 …33 Who will be indicting “God's chosen ones?” God, the Justifier?
34 Who is the Condemner? Christ Jesus, the One dying, yet rather being roused, Who is also at God's right hand, Who is pleading also for our sakes?Ro.9:11 …11 For, not as yet being born, nor putting into practice anything good or bad, that the purpose of God may be remaining as a choice, not out of acts, but of “Him Who is calling,”
Ro.11:7 …7 What then? What Israel is seeking for, this she did not encounter, yet “the chosen” encountered it. Now the rest were calloused, [notice “rest were calloused” (could this be you?)]
Col.3:12 …12 Put on, then, as “God's chosen ones”, holy and beloved, pitiful compassions, kindness, humility, meekness, patience,
2Tim.2:11 …10 Therefore I am enduring all because of “those who are chosen,” that they also may be happening upon the salvation which is in Christ Jesus with glory eonian.
1Pet.2:13 …13 Greeting you is the ecclesia in Babylon, “chosen” together with you, and Mark, my son.
Notice that these verses say that “God” chooses Us, “we” don't choose to be saved or not.
To sum things up:
Phil.2:10-11 …10 that in the name of Jesus “every knee should be bowing”, celestial and terrestrial and subterranean,
11 and “every tongue should be acclaiming that Jesus Christ is Lord,” for the glory of God, the Father.Phil.2:13 …13 for it is God Who is operating in you to will as well as to work for the sake of His delight
And finally:
1Cor.15:22-28 …22 For even as, in Adam, all are dying, thus also, in Christ, shall all be vivified.
23 Yet each in his own class: the Firstfruit, Christ; thereupon those who are Christ's in His presence;
24 thereafter the consummation, whenever He may be giving up the kingdom to His God and Father, whenever He should be nullifying all sovereignty and all authority and power.
25 For He must be reigning until He should be placing all His enemies under His feet.
26 The last enemy is being abolished: death.
27 For He subjects all under His feet. Now whenever He may be saying that all is subject, it is evident that it is outside of Him Who subjects all to Him.
28 Now, whenever all may be subjected to Him, then the Son Himself also shall be subjected to Him Who subjects all to Him, that God may be All in all.)At the “consummation” (the completed creation), God will be “ALL IN ALL”. (Not All in some)
God Bless, Jerry.
February 10, 2010 at 3:27 am#176818NickHassanParticipantHi CO,
Yes all.
But only some remain.
Some too will have been cast into the fire.February 10, 2010 at 11:35 pm#177019chosenoneParticipantIt is wonderful to know that “Christ Jesus came into the world to save sinners” (1 Tim.1:15), not merely to make it possible for sinners to be saved. Similarly, we were not conciliated to God through accepting Christ or believing in the death of His Son. Instead, “We were conciliated to God through the death of His Son” (Rom.5:10). Likewise, Christ did not die in order that our sins might be forgiven; for He would never need to die for God merely to forgive us. He died that God as our judge, might have a just basis for justifying us or declaring us righteous. He “was given up because of our offenses, and was roused because of our justifying” (Rom.4:25). We are “now justified in His blood” (Rom.5:9).
But this is only so “through Jesus Christ’s faith” (Rom.3:22), “the faith of Jesus” (Rom.3:26). This is what such passages as these say; they speak of Christ’s own faith, not of our faith in Christ. They no more mean our faith in Him, than the words “the faith of Abraham” (Rom.4:16) mean our faith in Abraham! It is incorrect to translate them otherwise. To do so is to interpret, not translate. But since men are so confident that they are saved (from “Hell”) through “accepting Christ,” they assume that any reference to faith in association with Christ must be their own, instead of His. They think of their own faith as what keeps them from being lost. Such a conception of “grace” is perfectly indistinguishable from a reward.Concordant Publishing Concern

Just like magic?Naaah
Whatever is not of faith is of sin.February 11, 2010 at 12:33 am#177032GeneBalthropParticipantNick……….What makes you think GOD is not the source of our FAITH? When we say (HE) is the author and finisher of our salvation do we eliminate Him when it comes to our FAITH. Does it not say it is impossible to please GOD without FAITH. So WHO Gives us our FAITH, ourselves or GOD? And Chosenone is right we are saved by the (FAITH of CHRIST) Not ours , GOD does not reckon our sins against us because of the sacrifice of Jesus. WE are justified by Jesus' FAITH in GOD. For this is the covenant I shall make with them when (I) God, Shall take away their sins.
Co 5:19…> How that GOD was (IN) Christ, reconciling the (WORLD) unto Himself, (how?) by not imputing their trespasses unto them; and hath committed unto us the word of reconciliation.
Why do you call the work of GOD Magic NICK, is it because you don't understand it?

If God was able to save Paul who said he was the worst of sinners , who are we to say He can't save all. Do you want that on your shoulders, I certainly do not.
