Quote (Nick Hassan @ April 19 2012,05:35) Hi Colter,
So the work of God failed because of men?
Your God is too tiny.
Did the Roman Catholic Church fail God? That's the one >you< referred to as a "whore".Your replies are too inconsistent.

His Kingdom will soon be on earth as well; but for right now, this is Satan's kingdom. We are to be no part of this world for that very reason.
Mike,What you write is correct as far as it goes; and is why believers have their citizenship in heaven; nevertheless it is written:
Matthew 13
New International Version (NIV)31 He told them another parable: “The kingdom of heaven is like a mustard seed, which a man took and planted in his field. 32 Though it is the smallest of all seeds, yet when it grows, it is the largest of garden plants and becomes a tree, so that the birds come and perch in its branches.”
and
Matthew 13
New International Version (NIV)47 “Once again, the kingdom of heaven is like a net that was let down into the lake and caught all kinds of fish. 48 When it was full, the fishermen pulled it up on the shore. Then they sat down and collected the good fish in baskets, but threw the bad away. 49 This is how it will be at the end of the age. The angels will come and separate the wicked from the righteous 50 and throw them into the blazing furnace, where there will be weeping and gnashing of teeth.
Both these parables speak of the developing kingdom on earth. The development ends when the bad “fish” are thrown in Gehenna.

Hi Colter,
If where you are standing is hot we will keep our distance.April 18, 2012 at 10:01 pm#293241terrariccaParticipantQuote (Colter @ April 19 2012,04:22) The concept of “the kingdom of God” as taught and exemplified in the fellowship of believers, in the brotherhood of Jesus and his followers was/is a spiritual kingdom. It was a concept familiar to the age; a king and his subjects. It’s God, his will as written on the heart of the sincere believer/follower, and the fellowship of believers. The concept of the kingdom as Jesus hoped for largely failed, the social institution of the church became a substitute. That is the evil of the church, it replaced the kingdom concept that Jesus established.
The “kingdom of heaven will eventually be preached again.
NOTE: Corresponding with the growth of the spiritual kingdom in this age is the culmination of the eventual dominance of a world wide kingdom, the age of Light and Life. The true gospel of Jesus will eventually subdue the entire earth.

colterI do not share your view,I believe that the word of God (scriptures) are doing the most amazing works ,just like Paul has said it ,
it divided us all throughout the generation, and that is exactly what it was made for ,
to separate the weeds from the wheat ,the good from the bad,
the true believers from the all the others ,this is the deep mystery
April 18, 2012 at 11:19 pm#293269NickHassanParticipantHi Colter,
Only among the lost is there adherence to the false church.
The kingdom has never failed just been less visible than men expected.April 18, 2012 at 11:21 pm#293271mikeboll64BlockedQuote (Nick Hassan @ April 17 2012,20:28) Hi MB,
I did wonder.
Lk 10.9
lk 16.16
lk 17.21
mt 12.28
mk 1.5
Nick,Which one of these is supposed to say the Kingdom of God is inside a human being?
April 18, 2012 at 11:30 pm#293273NickHassanParticipantHi MB,
The kingdom is not inside A human being but exists wherever men have obeyed the gospel
and the Spirit is leading them.April 19, 2012 at 12:52 am#293298mikeboll64BlockedAccording to Jesus, flesh cannot enter the Kingdom of God, Nick.
April 19, 2012 at 1:05 am#293304NickHassanParticipantHi MB,
The kingdom is not of flesh.
It is of the Spirit.April 19, 2012 at 1:09 am#293306mikeboll64BlockedSo what good does it do anyone by “existing wherever men have obeyed the gospel” if they can't actually enter into it?
April 19, 2012 at 1:32 am#293317NickHassanParticipantHi MB,
God has established a Kingdom for Jesus to take his rightful place as King over.
He does not have to build a kingdom when he returns because his servants are waiting for himApril 19, 2012 at 2:06 am#293344mikeboll64BlockedServants like you, Nick? But you are flesh, are you not? You cannot enter.

Nick,That is not written.
It is instead written that those righteous that are resurrected from the dead together with those brethren who changed but did not die meet him in the air as he descends.
A man is not resurrected if their soul is not returned to their human body.
Be careful less you use the right words but deny the resurrection with your intent.
April 19, 2012 at 4:51 am#293399NickHassanParticipantHi KW,
You say
“It is instead written that those righteous that are resurrected from the dead together with those brethren who changed but did not die meet him in the air as he descends.
[not quite 1cor 15 35-38, 1 thess 4.16-17. Nothing about him DESCENDING there]
A man is not resurrected if their soul is not returned to their human body.
[ Your opinion in view of the above verses?]
Be careful less you use the right words but deny the resurrection with your intent.”
{Yes you should be accurate]April 19, 2012 at 11:37 pm#293557mikeboll64BlockedQuote (Nick Hassan @ April 18 2012,20:19) Hi MB,

Okay, so where are we at now, Nick? This is what you said that started this whole discussion:
Quote Hi MB,
Is the kingdom of God within you?
Ihe kingdom exists wherever God and His king are given rule.Despite trying hard to follow your riddles, I am lost. Is the Kingdom of God within YOU – a flesh being?
April 19, 2012 at 11:41 pm#293561NickHassanParticipantHi MB,
The kingdom exists wherever the King lives by his Spirit.April 20, 2012 at 1:14 am#293592mikeboll64BlockedAnd does the King live by his spirit INSIDE OF YOUR FLESH BODY, Nick? YES or NO?
