ParticipantHi,
In baptism we are CLOTHED with Christ[gal 3.27]Some are found at the wedding feast not wearing the correct garments.
They are shocked to find themselves thrown out.

ParticipantHi ed,
Nicodemus was told in spiritual terms.
The apostles obeyed his Spirit to the letter and Acts is full of their water baptisms.May 15, 2012 at 9:59 pm#298216Ed J
ParticipantHi Nick, John 3:4-6 (KJV)
Nicodemus saith unto him, How can a man be born when he is old?
can he enter the second time into his mother's womb, and be born?
Jesus told Nicodemus you cannot be born of water a second time!Jesus answered, Verily, verily, I say unto thee, Except a man be born of water and of the Spirit, he
cannot enter into the kingdom of God. That which is born of the flesh is flesh; and that which is born of the Spirit is spirit.God bless

Participanthi ED,
As a teacher you will want to offer scriptural proofs that the waters of birth relate to jn3 surely?
Otherwise it remains your opinion.May 15, 2012 at 11:32 pm#298238terraricca
