    Mike,

1.Jesus is seated at the right hand of God NOW. The book of Revelation has been fulfilled. 2.The opening statements say that the things which John saw would “SHORTLY” take place. Uh….it's been over two thousand years now.

Any way, Georg said that Christ is “over all” and that Paul blesses God for this. 3.If Christ is not reigning yet, then who is He “over?”

Christ was not created. Only His flesh was created.

    Hi Thinker,

I've numbered your points for easier reference.

    1. I agree

    2. First, a day for God can be a thousand years for us. Would 2 days fall into the “shortly” category? Second, if what you say is true, why hasn't all that was prophesied come to pass yet?

    3. Christ was “over” all except God since he became God's first and greatest creation. I know Paul says Jesus now has a new name above all others, but do you think he wasn't already “over” the angels – beings he helped to create? So whether he is currently reigning or not, he is still “over” all others. (Except God, of course)

    peace and love,
    mike

    Thinker,

Correction on my placement of #2. It should have been one sentence earlier.

When Jesus ascended to heaven after he finished the first phase of his work, to die for our sins, God “highly exalted” him, Phil. 2:9; how? by setting him at the right hand of his, Eph. 1:20, and Rev. 3:21, God's throne; right hand is highest position of honor. Would God have done that if Jesus was God?

Now Georg! Come on now! We have addressed this a million times. Paul said that Jesus existed in the form of God but made Himself nothing and took upon Himself the form of a servant and became in the likeness of men. And being found in fashion as a man he humbled Himself and became obedient unto death. THEN God highly exalted Him.

You guys always start your commentary of Philippians 2 from “God has highly exalted Him.” But Paul starts from “He made Himself nothing….Therefore, God has highly exalted Him.”

What is the form of God? spirit, right? John 4:24 “God is a spirit”…, so are all the angels, are they all god's too?
Like I said, you make scripture fit to your liking.
You know, your argument is with God, he is the one who wrote the Bible, I'm just having fun with you, disclaiming your arguments. So, maybe you should go back and read those scriptures again.
