No I do not believe Mary is a surrogate mother but the true mother of the Son of Man[Adam].

Nick,
So you do believe that Mary is the “true” mother of the Son of Man. But what of the Son of God?April 19, 2007 at 11:21 am#49619NickHassanParticipantHi not3,
Son from the beginning of God and of the Spirit of God as man.
Son of man by Mary.April 19, 2007 at 4:07 pm#49635Not3in1ParticipantOK, I'm getting closer now….:)
But if true son of Mary, then the spirit person who existed before was united with the contributions Mary gave during conception? And if so, wouldn't that alter this previous spirit person into an all together different person?

Hi not3,
Who knows?April 19, 2007 at 8:08 pm#49687Not3in1ParticipantAhhhhhh, come on, Nick. Don't leave me hanging here like this.
See, if you admit that it DOES alter the pre-existent spirit being…….we have a problem, don't we?
If you admit that there is no altering done during conception/birth, then you are subscribing to a more incarnation belief.
April 25, 2007 at 3:04 am#50443Cult BusterParticipantSome on this forum just want to look at Bible verses that are in the context of Christ mission as Messiah but don't like when shown the multitude of scripture identifying Him as the divine Jehovah God. They wish that He will stay eternally incarnate. For some, this is willful blindness which is sin.
They myopically focus on Christ's incarnation as a man, yet they ignore the overwhelming evidence of His deity. When confronted with these truths they then try to “dance around” them. They are dishonest with the Word of God and with themselves.

You need to know the Son of God.
God was still in heaven when Jesus told his disciples how to pray to Him.
How can you be restored to relationship with Father God is you refuse to recognise His Son?April 27, 2007 at 4:04 am#50740Not3in1ParticipantGod in the flesh…….
Because God is not a man, it is safe to say that God was “in” Jesus, or a part of Jesus.
I've heard it said of me that I look just like my mother (my mother is dead and resting in the Lord) – they say, “Mandy, you are your mother in the flesh!” What they are meaning, of course, is that we look so much a like.
Could this be the same with Jesus – that he is God in the flesh – because he is his true Son?

Hi not3,
Scripture does not rely on colloquial meanings in english but is truth. The Son of God came from heaven and was filled with the Spirit of God at the Jordan thence revealing that God to men.May 1, 2007 at 1:33 pm#51129Cult BusterParticipantNick Hassen

Your unique view of a three deity theory not even found written in scripture can hardly be taken seriously among those who worship ONE GOD.May 21, 2007 at 3:37 am#52742NickHassanParticipanttopical

God's Son is a man.God is spirit and gave his spirit without measure to his Son (makes sense).
We also have access to this divine nature through the same spirit. Is God in our flesh because his spirit dwells in us?

It is the Mystery of godliness.
We are into spiritual matters in 1tim.3.16.
God manifested in the flesh of the prophets as His Spirit.
But the fullness of God’s nature and abilities was expressed in the man Jesus of Nazareth.
All this happened after his anointing by the Holy Spirit at the Jordan.
Many deny the anointing, imagining that he not conceived in Mary but was a preexistent spirit being.
They believe that he was born anointed and that “coming in the flesh” just means birth, so he was never truly a Son of Man.
January 26, 2018 at 9:42 am#820999NickHassanParticipantHi,
Man erred when he tried to decipher spiritual mysteries using useless simplistic human logic.
To make a man his God seemed the simple answer but it broke sacred Scripture.
Sadly these foolish theologians misled millions coming after them.
January 27, 2018 at 4:19 am#821003GeneBalthropParticipantNick….Very well put brother, these false assumptions started early on in the church by false teachers, even in the time of the apostles were these INIQUITIES forming, it all HAD TO DO WITH THE IDENITY OF WHO THE REAL JESUS WAS. JUST AS JESUS SAID, “MANY” shall come in my name saying I AM, and decieve many”. Yes a false “IMAGE” of Jesus which is the “LIE” Spoken of in 2ths2. The “LIE” taught about JESUS, WHICH CHANGES THE TRUE “IMAGE” OF HIM INTO, A “MAN OF SIN”,
Remember God the Fathers first commandment, “you shall have “NO” OTHER GOD BESIDES ME”; You shall make “NO IMAGE” OF ME IN HEAVEN ABOVE OR EARTH BENEATH. Any “IMAGE” Thats creates ANOTHER GOD is a “LIE” AND a “SIN”.
ALL Those who preach Jesus as a God, are IDOLATERS, “little childern keep yourselves from IDOLS”.
Peace and love to you and yours. …….gene.
