Nick………..If it does not say so then why do you “ASSUME” it” Do you think God is incapable of sustaining a Physical Body no matter where it is existing at in heaven or on the earth, Did He not say that Adam could take of the tree of Life and NEVER DIE, so he put a separation from Adam and the Tree of Life lest Adam take of the tree of Life and never die. God did not create physical Bodies to Just throw away as you assume he did. No in fact the resurrection as Paul said was “for the witnessing of the redemptions of OUR BODIES” Jesus was raised with a BODY and Has that same Body NOW and will live forever in that Body.
If that were not the case then why even have a resurrection at all if the Body was not needed as you assume? Every resurrection in scripture is shown with bodies right. Go and read the valley of dead Bones and see what God himself said, about the “WHOLE HOUSE of ISRAEL”.
So now are you telling us that there is no Physical resurrection at all Now? When God he Father show plainly there is a Physical resurrection , not to mention Jesus himself was raised from the Grave .

Now Nick did God say that or your SATAN say it. Man could have lived forever had Adam eaten of the Tree of Life just as GOD said He could Have.

The road to gnosticism is through reliance on some scriptural verses but more on your own intellect.
Careless exegesis without seeking the Spirit and witnessing verses opens the endless possibilities of the wide road.

From what I understand; Gnosticism teaches that the material is flawed and one must gain enlightenment in order to escape it and become a spirit(non-material) being.

To All……….Zeroing in on the WORD Gnostic is not the Question here , the Gnostic's had a particular teaching and that should be the question we are talking about not the Meaning of the word, becasue the word Gnostic is not a Bad word of it self. It is what that group of people taught that counts, They taught that Jesus was a person “DISGUISED” as a Man , but was not a real man but a God disguised in a man body, that he was sent out from the Pelora of the GOD'S to straighten out what another GOD botched up.
Trying to tie logic and reasoning to the Gnostic's false Doctrines is wrong. All false teaching comes from wrong reasonings or wrong human logic , but that does not mean ALL Human reasoning and LOGIC is wrong at all. ONLY the IGNORANT would think that, God himself said come let “REASON” together God gave us the ability to reason and wants us to use our God give Logic to come to understand things He is saying. Anyone who down plays that is ignorant themselves. IMO If that we not so then God could not hold us responsible for anything we do . God expects us to use our Minds and grow in KNOWLEDGE and UNDERSTANDING , in fact it is in this way He extends more GRACE to US as we Mature in Knowledge and understanding. It is all a GROWING PROCESS. IMO

Better to submit your mind to the Spirit Who wrote the Word.
Then you can be taught and renewed.Nick ………Good advice, so when are you going to start to do that, would be the question here. I have recieved the Spirit of God a long long time ago Nick and have had many many many prayer answered that Proves it, Why do you “ASSUME” you have and i and others haven't the Spirit of GOD? Is it because i disagree with “YOUR” wrong teaching that you “ASSUME” is JESUS' ?

Gnosticism is so called “secret knowledge”
They form cults, they have initiations, & rituals,
their knowledge is only for their members, and they like to keep it for themselves, but their knowledge is nothing.The Word of God is free for everyone, and in the open. Everything shared.
1 Timothy 5:13 And withal they learn to be idle, wandering about from house to house; and not only idle, but tattlers also and busybodies, speaking things which they ought not.
