so brothers the context is more important than mere quoting the scriptures for our own benefit.
Hope the good will of God prevail but not the so-called human free-will which can deform the will of God.

    hi to all

i would like to inquire if the bible teaches the possibility of becoming a worshiper of God and choose to worship God or not.

if we are not free and have no will to go with our freedom, then we have no decision to make it is done for us, and then no responsibility for our actions.

if we have freedom and have a will to use then we are responsibility of our actions.

1Co 1:10 I appeal to you, brothers, in the name of our Lord Jesus Christ, that all of you agree with one another so that there may be no divisions among you and that you may be perfectly united in mind and thought.
1Co 1:11 My brothers, some from Chloe’s household have informed me that there are quarrels among you.
1Co 1:12 What I mean is this: One of you says, “I follow Paul”; another, “I follow Apollos”; another, “I follow Cephas’”; still another, “I follow Christ.”
1Co 1:13 Is Christ divided? Was Paul crucified for you? Were you baptized into the name of Paul?
1Co 1:14 I am thankful that I did not baptize any of you except Crispus and Gaius,
1Co 1:15 so no one can say that you were baptized into my name.
1Co 1:16 (Yes, I also baptized the household of Stephanas; beyond that, I don’t remember if I baptized anyone else.)
1Co 1:17 For Christ did not send me to baptize, but to preach the gospel—not with words of human wisdom, lest the cross of Christ be emptied of its power

it is also understood that any of us animal, and humans even angels can not act out side of the perimeter in which we have been created,
this is not limits to our free will but our free will boundaries, just like you would say, a fish is limited to the water and for those reasons he has no free will because if he would have free will he should be able to go any were he want to in air on the ground this is stupid reasoning.only fools would believe that.

Job 1:8 Then the LORD said to Satan, “Have you considered my servant Job? There is no one on earth like him; he is blameless and upright, a man who fears God and shuns evil.”

Job 1:11 But stretch out your hand and strike everything he has, and he will surely curse you to your face.”

    hi
the views of Satan are ;Ge 3:1 Now the serpent was more crafty than any of the wild animals the LORD God had made. He said to the woman, “Did God really say, ‘You must not eat from any tree in the garden’?”
Ge 3:2 The woman said to the serpent, “We may eat fruit from the trees in the garden,
Ge 3:3 but God did say, ‘You must not eat fruit from the tree that is in the middle of the garden, and you must not touch it, or you will die.’ ”

.Ge 3:4 “You will not surely die,” the serpent said to the woman

    hi to all

i would like to inquire if the bible teaches the possibility of becoming a worshiper of God and choose to worship God or not.

if we are not free and have no will to go with our freedom, then we have no decision to make it is done for us, and then no responsibility for our actions.

if we have freedom and have a will to use then we are responsibility of our actions.

Terraraccia…………No one is saying we do not have (WILLS), that is not the issue at all, the issue is what is a (Will) . is it (free) of influences, and therefore can be qualified a  “FREE WILL”. Even you analogy of Fish falls apart, while Fish live in a large ocean, they do not operate freely, they do what is programed in them, they are not “FREE WILLED” as you are trying to put it. Bottom line is all Who are (SELF CENTERED) are SELF WILLED and are that way because of their PRIDE in THEM. The very (WORD) WILL means it is (INFLUENCED) AND NOT FREE AT ALL. The ideology of so-called “FREE WILL”, is itself evil and resists the WORD and WILL of GOD. God does (NOT) ask us to do what He Says if we WILL to < He COMMANDS US TO. Your self salvation dogmas through the operation of so-called "FREE WILLS" are not biblical at all. IMO

are you reading anything that i put up of verses???
wen you read are so self centered that you read with your conviction in you head so that you become blind and deaf,

as for the fish i have said that we are free within the boundaries of our creation ,do you understand that ????

Satan went against God's will within his boundaries ,he was the cherub angel placed to help but in stead he corrupt,
because of it we have now one more influence action to deal with ,corruption of the mind and by this the corruption of the soul

but we have free will within the boundaries of our creation, this is the law of God for everything that as been created.

Jesus declared. “Go now and leave your life of sin.”

Jn 8:12 When Jesus spoke again to the people, he said, “I am the light of the world. Whoever follows me will never walk in darkness, but will have the light of life.”

Jn 12:50 I know that his command leads to eternal life. So whatever I say is just what the Father has told me to say.”

Jn 17:3 Now this is eternal life: that they may know you, the only true God, and Jesus Christ, whom you have sent

Jn 6:40 For my Father’s will is that everyone who looks to the Son and believes in him shall have eternal life, and I will raise him up at the last day.”

Lk 12:15 Then he said to them, “Watch out! Be on your guard against all kinds of greed; a man’s life does not consist in the abundance of his possessions.”
Lk 12:19 And I’ll say to myself, “You have plenty of good things laid up for many years. Take life easy; eat, drink and be merry.” ’

we have a choice to make let make it wisely

    God created Satan (Is.54:16)
    God created 'evil' (Is.45:7)
God said, “and all my desire I will do” (Is.46:11)
God says …to head up all in the Christ — both that in the heavens and that on the earth —
11 in Him in Whom our lot was cast also, being designated beforehand according to the purpose of the One Who is operating all in accord with the counsel of His will, (Eph.1:10-11)

How can you not believe this scripture? “…ACCORDING TO THE PURPOSE OF THE ONE WHO IS OPERATING ALL IN ACCORD WITH THE COUNSEL OF HIS WILL”.
This scripture “according to your 'free will' theory”, could not be true if He (God) gave mankind 'free will', for then God could not possibly in complete control unless 'mankinds will' could oppose “His will.”

When Gods will appears to have not been done, it is His “Intention” (will) that is done. This may be difficult for us to understand, that when Gods will appears to be not done, as when Adam and Eve disobeyed Him by eating the forbidden fruit, it was His will that they disobey.

Another example of Gods will being done is when He directed Moses to free Israel from captivity in Egypt, was when Pharaoh refused to let them go…”Yahweh made the heart of Pharaoh steadfast” so that he would not obey. In Ro.9:16 …Consequently, then, it is not of him who is willing, nor of him who is racing, but of God, the Merciful.
17 For the scripture is saying to Pharaoh that “For this selfsame thing I rouse you up, so that I should be displaying in you My power, and so that My name should be published in the entire earth.”

There are many more scriptures saying …”All is of God”, but we don't believe.

Yes, Men are inordinately proud of their self-control, for they suppose it to be their own creation. They do not realize that self-control, along with all else that is virtuous and agreeable, is always a fruit of the spirit (Gal.5:23); it is never a work of the flesh.

Whenever we are faithful, it is true, in a relative sense, that thus we “save ourselves” But we only do this in His grace. Therefore boasting in man is debarred: “Toil I—yet not I but the grace of God which is with me” (1 Cor.15: 10).

    My opinion, Blessings, Jerry.

Terraricca…….You thinking that i am saying GOD does not give us liberty to exercise our (INFLUENCED WILLS) I never said that. God doe give us liberty to to a point. We are talking about the WILL it SELF not what GOD allows us to do. Paul said it this way “I find no good dwells in my flesh, for to (WILL) is present in it. Our self influenced Wills are an enemy to GOD. It is the product of our carnal minds and as it is said , the carnal mind is a enemy of GOD. That is also why it says “FOR GOD WORKES IN US (BOTH) TO (WILL) AND DO OF (HIS) GOOD PLEASURE. Do you see our wills mentioned there anywhere. There is only (ONE) WILL that WILL Be Done and that is GOD'S WILL not your or mine or anyone else's so-called “FREE” WILLS. Pride HATES that thought, it wants to think it is its own GOD and uses it's (OWN) WILL. IMO

if you read my comments do you read that free will is applied by the boundaries of our creation;this said it does not mean you can not use it for your own selfishness or ego or pride, free will gives you, to do as you choose in your hearth ,and that's were God is righteous in his judgement to all men.

now wen Paul talks about the conflict of the law of the will of the flesh versus the law in his spirit,
    it just means that ,
as true Christians we should all feel this many time ,wen we eat and drink or sleep,or in company with others,we fight sin all the time, because we have learn the will of God what is to be pure or try to be ,
    and this is what Paul talk about ,wen he say;

Gal 5:24 Those who belong to Christ Jesus have crucified the sinful nature with its passions and desires.
Gal 5:25 Since we live by the Spirit, let us keep in step with the Spirit.
Gal 5:26 Let us not become conceited, provoking and envying each other

Eph 5:15 Be very careful, then, how you live—not as unwise but as wise,
Eph 5:16 making the most of every opportunity, because the days are evil

Ro 8:7 the sinful mind is hostile to God. It does not submit to God’s law, nor can it do so.

as for your example to the sinful nature is related to the law ,it as nothing to do with our free will ,but with the law of moses and the need for Christ, read this many times it is not easy to understand,

Ro 7:12 So then, the law is holy, and the commandment is holy, righteous and good.
Ro 7:14 We know that the law is spiritual; but I am unspiritual, sold as a slave to sin.
Ro 7:16 And if I do what I do not want to do, I agree that the law is good.
Ro 7:21 So I find this law at work: When I want to do good, evil is right there with me.
    Ro 7:22 For in my inner being I delight in God’s law;
Ro 7:23 but I see another law at work in the members of my body, waging war against the law of my mind and making me a prisoner of the law of sin at work within my members.
Ro 7:25 Thanks be to God—through Jesus Christ our Lord!
So then, I myself in my mind am a slave to God’s law, but in the sinful nature a slave to the law of sin.
Ro 8:2 because through Christ Jesus the law of the Spirit of life set me free from the law of sin and death.
Ro 8:3 For what the law was powerless to do in that it was weakened by the sinful nature, God did by sending his own Son in the likeness of sinful man to be a sin offering. And so he condemned sin in sinful man,
Ro 8:4 in order that the righteous requirements of the law might be fully met in us, who do not live according to the sinful nature but according to the Spirit.

    in Christ with you.

    hi

how did influenced will became part of men,in Gen;3,it is the rebellion of Satan who created the influence will into men,

they were naked but did not see it,after Satan influence they saw that they were naked, now they ad to view thing with the new influence and consequences

satan blind people to see God will and the grace of God.
2Co 3:17 Now the Lord is the Spirit, and where the Spirit of the Lord is, there is freedom.

2Co 6:14 Do not be yoked together with unbelievers. For what do righteousness and wickedness have in common? Or what fellowship can light have with darkness?

Ro 2:5 But because of your stubbornness and your unrepentant heart, you are storing up wrath against yourself for the day of God’s wrath , when his righteous judgment will be revealed.
Ro 2:6 God “will give to each person according to what he has done.”
Ro 2:7 To those who by persistence in doing good seek glory, honor and immortality, he will give eternal life.
Ro 2:8 But for those who are self-seeking and who reject the truth and follow evil, there will be wrath and anger.
    Ro 2:9 There will be trouble and distress for every human being who does evil: first for the Jew, then for the Gentile;
Ro 2:10 but glory, honor and peace for everyone who does good: first for the Jew, then for the Gentile.
Ro 2:11 For God does not show favoritism.

Pr 11:18 The wicked man earns deceptive wages,
but he who sows righteousness reaps a sure reward.
Pr 22:8 He who sows wickedness reaps trouble,
and the rod of his fury will be destroyed.
Gal 6:7 Do not be deceived: God cannot be mocked. A man reaps what he sows.

you should read what i say not guessing ,our free will is within the boundaries of our creation ,do you understand that.???
the free will we have is to willingly come to God and give him our live to do his will and stop to do ours because we can do anything right without God,this is call humbling our self to the wisdom of God trough Christ he is the way.

Ps 50:16 But here is what God says to sinful people.
“What right do you have to speak the words of my laws?
How dare you speak the words of my covenant!
Ps 50:17 You hate my teaching.
You turn your back on what I say.
Ps 50:18 When you see a thief, you join him.
You make friends with those who commit adultery.
Ps 50:19 You use your mouth to speak evil.
You use your tongue to spread lies.
Ps 50:20 You always speak against your brother.
You always tell lies about your own mother’s son.
Ps 50:21 You have done those things, and I kept silent.
So you thought I was just like you.
But now I’m going to correct you.
I will bring charges against you.
Ps 50:22 “You who forget God, think about this.
If you don’t, I will tear you to pieces.
No one will be able to save you

we are either fools or wise ,wise if we serve God ,fools if we serve ourselves, this would mean we joined Satan.
