Hi brother 942767,
Thanks for the clarification but you have to remember one thing that Jesus was not the person who revealed this mystery.November 19, 2008 at 5:26 am#112187NickHassanParticipantGM,
Jesus did not reveal Christ in us.
Right.November 19, 2008 at 8:05 am#112193gollamudiParticipantThat's why Jesus said “when the comforter (Holy Spirit) comes he will guide you into all truth and will reveal many things to you”.

No Adam:God revealed the mystery by His Spirit, and Jesus was commissioned specifically to preach to the lost sheep of the house of Israel, but the Word that he taught was for all nations. He called the Apostles and taught them and ordained them and then commissioned them to go into all the World and teach the nation. The gospel is about what God has done for all of humanity through Jesus. There is not one gospel for the Jews and another for the gentiles.
Quote Mat 28:18 And Jesus came and spake unto them, saying, All power is given unto me in heaven and in earth.
Mat 28:19 Go ye therefore, and teach all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Ghost:
Mat 28:20 Teaching them to observe all things whatsoever I have commanded you: and, lo, I am with you alway, [even] unto the end of the world. Amen.If Jesus commissioned the Apostles to go to all nations, he must have know about the mystery. What do you think?
God Bless

Please see my earlier post mentioning; Jesus himself told that I want to tell you many things but you can not bear them now, but when the comforter comes he will guide into all truth and declare all things.November 22, 2008 at 7:06 pm#112284942767ParticipantQuote (gollamudi @ Nov. 22 2008,17:00) Hi brother 942767,

Hi Adam:If Jesus said that he wanted to tell them some things that they could not bear them at that time, them he must of known those things that were going to be revealed to the Apostles later.
What things was he talking about that were to revealed to them later?
The only things that I can think of is his crucifixion, resurrection and the book of revelation.
And the book of revelation states:
Quote Rev 1:1 The Revelation of Jesus Christ, which God gave unto him, to shew unto his servants things which must shortly come to pass; and he sent and signified [it] by his angel unto his servant John: The book of Daniel has the following:
Dan 12:3 And they that be wise shall shine as the brightness of the firmament; and they that turn many to righteousness as the stars for ever and ever.
Dan 12:4 But thou, O Daniel, shut up the words, and seal the book, [even] to the time of the end: many shall run to and fro, and knowledge shall be increased.
But all of the Word of God Jesus knows. The only thing that he said that he did not know is when the Father will send him for the church.
My experience is that God's Holy Spirit leads us into all truths in the Word of God, and may lead us into truths about our personal life, and our calling, and our family.
God Bless

God is the one purposes every thing where as Christ Jesus and Apostles are only His agents in realising the plans of God.November 28, 2008 at 3:13 pm#112596942767ParticipantQuote (gollamudi @ Nov. 25 2008,16:38) Hi brother 942767,

Hi Adam:I agree with you on this. However, Jesus is the head of the church, and God has revealed all of His plan for humanity through him. As I stated before, the only thing that God did not reveal to Jesus is when he would be coming for the church. Jesus said only the Father knows this.

Will those of you who believe that we do not have a “free will”, the freedom to choose between good and evil or between whether or not we will serve the Lord when we hear the gospel, explain to me why then is God going to hold us accountable for the life that we live?
November 30, 2008 at 6:06 pm#112734NickHassanParticipantHi 94,
It is an essential plank in the universalist philosophy to deny that man has any influence over his life so they can declare that God will save all by a perverted view of grace.November 30, 2008 at 6:53 pm#112736942767ParticipantQuote (Nick Hassan @ Dec. 01 2008,05:06) Hi 94,

Hi Nick:What you say is true, however, my hope is that they will acknowledge the truth and repent.

Nick……God will hold us accountable in this life, (FOR JUDGMENT SAKE) That will keep us humble forever, because we are all sinners. And none of the ones who are saved can boast that they by their (so-called) “free choices” saved themselves. Revelations tell us “these (in the kingdom) LOVED NOT THERE LIVES UNTO DEATH”> Do you love your life by your so-called “free choices” you have made. The whole ideology behind “FREE CHOICES” is for the sole purpose of puffing ones self up and is a source of great PRIDE. Self righteousness is a far worse sin then most sins in God's eyes, Job is a good example of that. WE ARE SAVED BY GRACE AND GRACE ALONE Nick. To add something else into the works is taking away from the Glory of GOD. By GRACE are you saved and that (NOT) of yourselves (IT) is a (GIFT FROM GOD) That gift is how we are saved Nick. We should not add or subtract from that scripture.said in love……………..gene

No armchair ride is possible.
We reach salvation through many tribulations.
Walk while the light is with you for night is coming on when none can walk.November 30, 2008 at 7:13 pm#112744GeneBalthropParticipantTo All……> there is no such thing as “FREE WILL” you and i chose from what the greatest influence in our minds, and those influenced were put there by past experiences and If God does not put His influence in you mind you simply can (NEVER) chose his way on your own. Salvation is a work of GOD brought about by HIS GRACE (God's influencing on the Heart) and nothing more, Does it not say “For you are (CREATED) unto good works, no where does it say we (CREATE) OURSELVES UNTO GOOD WORKS. Remember we (ARE THE CLAY) and GOD is the (POTTER) He can make out of you anything He wants to. HE ALONE IS SOVEREIGN The (ONLY CREATOR) He creates righteousness, it doesn't just come along by some magic “FREE CHOICE” that a person can make on His own.
Salvation is not iffy and waiting on our so-called “free choices”, to some how magical decide to chose God's way and there by change our hearts and thinking, No Salvation is a direct act of the one and ONLY SOVEREIGN GOD> WE ARE SAVED BY GRACE ALONE Brothers and Sisters. Notice also it is called the fruit (OF) or from the SPIRIT, not of the “free choices from or of the self. Do not let anyone tell you you are saved by your so-called “FREE CHOICES” there has been no grater LIE then that ever told, it steals GLORY FROM THE ONE AND ONLY GOD.
love and peace to you all……………………gene

The carnal mind is controlled by the god of this world.
Only those reborn from above who submit to scriptural truth are set free.
Vain carnal minds imagine they are free to believe and teach whatever they want to.
The servants of Christ put scripture first. - AuthorPosts
