NickI knew it you got it wrong ,go back and see what you have ask me ;why is it you do not understand ?
your eyes doing one thing ,while your brain doing some thing else
try to coordinate them both
Ro 8:9 You, however, are controlled not by the sinful nature but by the Spirit (of truth the scriptures that we received and put in our heart), if the Spirit of God lives in you(if we practice what God scriptures are saying ). And if anyone does not have the Spirit(those scriptures in his heart) of Christ, he does not belong to Christ.
Ro 8:10 But if Christ(scriptures understanding given through his disciples) is in you, your body is dead because of sin, yet your spirit is alive because of righteousness(obedience to the scriptures).
Ro 8:11 And if the Spirit(Gods will) of him who raised Jesus from the dead is living in you, he who raised Christ from the dead will also give life to your mortal bodies through his Spirit(Gods will), who lives in you.Ro 8:16 The Spirit(the scriptures and will of God) himself testifies with our spirit(our understanding of Gods will ) that we are God’s children.
Ro 8:17 Now if we are children, then we are heirs—heirs of God and co-heirs with Christ, if indeed we share in his sufferings(die Martyr for Gods truth) in order that we may also share in his glory.I have put my understanding in brackets,
if you think I am wrong please provide scriptures first later your opinion.

You have taken away so much by putting in the work of your mind's imagination.
Know the Spirit who wrote scripture through men, not just the written words
Legalism was the way the Pharisees substituted for the living Spirit.
2Peter 1 20fFebruary 22, 2012 at 7:13 am#280010NickHassanParticipantHi T,
So you offer that reading the scriptures and understanding them and practicing the teachings and obeying them unto death will make us do the will of God?
But everything you offer is of your own work. The flesh profits nothing.
Without me you can do nothing.
Whosoever wants to save his own life will lose it.
Unless God works through us our religion is vanity and uselessness.February 22, 2012 at 8:31 am#280011terrariccaParticipantQuote (Nick Hassan @ Feb. 23 2012,00:04) Hi T,

NOpinion count for nothing, but the flesh help us to show and act the love for our God,and our fellow men
So again you have not understood Chist words and so apply them uselessly ,

The Son of God, through whom God created all things, emptied himself of the form of God in which he was existing, and was made into the likeness of a human being.Jesus was the only begotten Son of God long before this happened. Show me from scriptures how I'm wrong in my above statements, Nick.
If you cannot, then I must be scripturally correct.
February 22, 2012 at 11:51 pm#280087NickHassanParticipantHi MB,
The Son of God Jesus CHRIST came in the flesh.
The Spirit of Christ was made one with the man Jesus at the Jordan.Men do not have a heavenly origin.

Your words confuse your own claims, Nick. You say Jesus WAS ALREADY flesh before he became the Christ. So how then did Jesus Christ COME in the flesh if he didn't exist BEFORE he CAME in the flesh? You can keep claiming “Jordan” until the cows come home. I've already posted Luke 2:11, where the angel said the newborn Jesus already was the Christ.
And you are right that men don't USUALLY have a heavenly origin. But Jesus does not mince words while he contradicts you in John 6.
Nick, even though the Jews in John 6 didn't understand WHY Jesus would say he came down from heaven, they surely understood that is what he claimed.
Your man-made doctrine is falling apart at the seams, Nick.

Jesus was not anointed[CHRISTOS] till the Jordan.February 23, 2012 at 12:53 am#280098mikeboll64BlockedMatthew 1:18
This is how the birth of Jesus Christ came about: His mother Mary was pledged to be married to Joseph, but before they came together, she was found to be with child through the Holy Spirit.Matthew 2:4
When he had called together all the people’s chief priests and teachers of the law, he asked them where the Christ was to be born.Luke 2:11
Today in the town of David a Savior has been born to you; he is Christ the Lord.Luke 2:26
It had been revealed to him by the Holy Spirit that he would not die before he had seen the Lord’s Christ.Nick, many scriptures disagree with your claim that Jesus became the Christ at his baptism.
