    Yep, Jesus is the boss.

And is YHWH also your boss, Ed? Or JUST Jesus?

    Hio MB,
You try to trap but your arguments are pathetic.

If you do not understand godly authority a verse in 1Cor 15 could help you.

Consider: LORD the owner(or the CEO), and Lord the master(or the manager), and you should have no trouble.

Now consider that I'm an entry lever employee.  Which one of the two you mentioned (CEO and manager) are my “BOSS”?

Using your business analogy, Paul said that there is but ONE “Boss” for us, yet we know that “Boss” has a “Boss” of his own, who is ALSO our “Boss”.

So, is Jesus literally the ONLY “Boss” Ed?  Or was Paul perhaps saying something else?

    Hi MB,
Why do you waste time wreiting this stuff when there is much to learn?
If you do not know your Lord return to GO

    We're right behind you Nick.

Hi Mike, Hebrew has NO  “W”  SOUND  to translate into English.

YHVH is Jesus' boss, but we also have access to him.
You should know, that the boss of every man
is Christ, and the boss of Christ is God.

    God bless

How is listing two scriptures “pathetic”?  ???

And how does this response from you reconcile those two scriptures like I asked you to do?

Here are a couple more for the consideration of you and Ed:
    Ephesians 6:5
Slaves, obey your earthly masters with respect and fear………….

    Colossians 3:22
Slaves, obey your earthly masters in everything………..

The words “master” in the two verses above are the Greek word “kurios”, just like in 1 Cor 8:6, where Paul says we have but ONE “kurios”.

How do you guys explain this “contradiction” in scripture?

    Nick

it seems to me this is not what scriptures says ??

Rev 19:10 At this I fell at his feet to worship him. But he said to me, “Do not do it! I am a fellow servant with you and with your brothers who hold to the testimony of Jesus. Worship God! For the testimony of Jesus is the spirit of prophecy.”

    Hi T,
Yes the angel was teaching the followers of Jesus Christ that they were to worship the God of Jesus.
He confirmed the Spirit inspired words of Jesus Christ as spiritual food

Scriptures don't argue with scripture, Nick.

Is there literally only ONE kurios in existence like Paul says?  Or are there many kurios in existence like Paul says?

I know the answer, do you?  What is your answer, Nick?

    Hi Nick,

That's a good observation. I thought Mike might be
trying to make a point, but perhaps he just likes to debate. :D

Rev 22:6 ,The angel said to me “These words are trustworthy and true. The Lord, the God of the spirits of the prophets, sent his angel to show his servants the things that must soon take place.”

    Jesus Is Coming

Rev 22:7 “Behold, I am coming soon! Blessed is he who keeps the words of the prophecy in this book.”

Rev 22:8 I, John, am the one who heard and saw these things. And when I had heard and seen them, I fell down to worship at the feet of the angel who had been showing them to me.
Rev 22:9 But he said to me, “Do not do it! I am a fellow servant with you and with your brothers the prophets and of all who keep the words of this book. Worship God!”

what is it that you do not understand ??? look the bold
