Gene uses scripture.Do you speak for the whole of this “site”, Nick? I certainly find what Gene offers interesting and he has sent me to the Word a few times to confirm what he is teaching (with scripture).
I am beginning to think you are jealous of him or something – they way you badger him. Good grief.
Nick……….you use scripture all the time to prove you points, and now you have the nerve to accuse other of being rash who do, What makes you think your are a mouthpiece of Scripture, seeing you misunderstand much of it. You sarcastic words only shows you true nature.IMO

You couldn't hear it even if God did use him as a mouthpiece, I'm afraid. Pride has stopped-up your ears!! I do see Gene trying to reach out and even ask for forgiveness from time to time…..you are nonresponsive and cold.Many times God has used Gene to speak to me (both on and off the boards).
You should only speak for yourself instead of saying “we” or “this site”.
Mandy…….Amen to that Sis. Nicks pride is his down fall I'm afraid, but God knows how to deal with that also. I don't despise him, if anything i feel sorry we can't have a better relationship. I think he feels I'm trying to take over here, no way am i in fact i wouldn't want his Job here to be Honest. There are post Nick gives I totally agree with, and some i totally disagree with , but He goes beyond the posts some times to personal accusations that the problem, and sometimes i respond in kind at times. I am more then willing to mutually respect Him and I am learning to ignore his snide remarks though.

We have an appointed judge and He does not need your assistance.
We need to fear Him with a godly fear.Nick…..i have noticed it doesn't seem to bother you to JUDGE others does it. This is another place where you need to take your own advice. It's good to see you are now qualifying the word (FEAR) at least thats some progress. Why no say to (REVERENCE and RESPECT and LOVE), GOD that would even be better. A little progress is better then none though.

YOU are not scripture, Nick.My goodness does your pride need some adjusting. Good grief. You think so highly of yourself. Just because YOU speak doesn't mean that what you say is equal to scripture. You share scripture here the same as everyone else. Your interpretations are the same as everyone elses.
Nick……no one is unless you are willing to listen to what others say. But GOD is able and i believe He will someday.

But the subject here is the theme found constant between the OT and NT, the holy fear of God.
Nick……if i were you i would not talk about boasting, Show me (ONE) word Of BOASTING, I wrote? Sounds more like you jealously is more of the problem here then any thing else. Your the one having Problems with many others here not me.
But as you say the Subject here is the theme found in the bible (FEAR) first you need to look up the meaning of the GREEK word. You may find that, that word is as been said before is (REVERENCE and RESPECT). And YOU need to explain Why does scripture say And the fearful and unbelieving will have there part in the lake of Fire.
So if you are determined to think (FEAR) causes Men to walk right you are sadly mistaking GOD PROVED that many many times with the Old Israelites. Fear has and never will transform anyone, it can never change the heart of anyone< it's been tried and failed. It takes a (NEW) CREATION not based on FEAR, but on the LOVE of GOD Shed around in the Heart. Fear is for the unbeliever , a believer LOVES GOD and Jesus From the heart even as a little child loves it's Parents. "EXCEPT YOU become as a LITTLE Child you in( NO WISE) shall inter the KINGDOM OF GOD. IMO

Why? Why were these comments needed? They're mean spirited.I'm losing respect for you, Nick. I truly am, and that is a shame.
It's hard for me to even hear the message because of your tit-for-tat.
