Hi Miia,
This is not a stalemate, as we can use this thread to discuss the real issue; which is:
I started my 151st thread called:
Why was the “Hot-Seat” created? to define others views by asking them the hard questions!
And this is what I posted as the opening post…Note: T8 deleted my thread and inserted my opening post into “The Hot seat rules” thread
Why was the “Hot-Seat” created? to define others views by asking them the hard questions!
______________________________________________Why did the site owner here create “The Hot Seat”? I believe
it is to define others views by asking them the hard questions! So often when myself and others ask questions to help determine
where another is on a particular view: they are often met with hostility,
accusations of wrongdoing for even questioning their view, and worse yet
a willful deliberate avoidance of the information needed to define their position. Therefore “the Hot Seat” was set up with a defined set of rules… …(Link)
Questions are formatted “with information that is clearly defined”,
which requires an answer of either “Yes”, “No”, or “I don’t know”.Of course people are still free to offer their greater opinion,
but not at the expense of ‘blowing-off’ the question asked._______________

Ed JMarch 4, 2016 at 8:47 pm#810044Ed JParticipantHi Miia,
You may ask why did I tell you this?
Because “we”(you and me) are discussing
this very same issue on this thread, that’s why.And I believe it is better that way, because others have swayed the topic
away from the real question of: why ask the hard questions in the first place?Note: T8 deleted my thread and inserted my opening post into “The Hot seat rules” thread

March 4, 2016 at 8:48 pm#810045Ed JParticipantHi Miia,
And here is what you said
I think the hot seat is a good idea… but, “Yes, No, or I Don’t Know” should not be included in the ‘set of rules’ unless you want to lose every member, t8. Most would not tolerated that kind of demand, hence we will leave or be banned, (except for Ed who will be left gloating!)
Other than that; the hot seat is a good idea.
March 4, 2016 at 8:59 pm#810046Ed JParticipantHi Miia,
And now I must remind you – that here is where we are in this conversation:
I answered your 1st question, now it is your turn to answer my 1st question…Q#1 Do you believe “the spirit of Christ” is God? y/n
(remember “I don’t know” is an acceptable answer)“Yes” – “No” – “I don’t know”
take your pick
March 4, 2016 at 9:21 pm#810048Ed JParticipantHi Miia,
This is an odd comment for you to make:
”and I’m not interested in scriptural replies”And here is the complete sentence that I extracted it from:
I don’t expect ten divided replies for one simple question, and I’m not interested in scriptural replies – I only want to hear what YOU have to say.If you’re not interested in scriptural replies, you’re talking to the wrong guy
Miia also said:
“If he is a witness like he calls himself, then he should be able to answer these questions honestly, imo.”Not a problem: we will take turns asking questions. I answered
your 1st question, so now it is your turn to answer my 1st question.
You don’t get two questions in a row, while ‘blowing off’ my questions._______________
God bless
Ed JMarch 4, 2016 at 9:38 pm#810049Ed JParticipantHi Miia,
If you feel you squandered your first question – it is not my problem ~!

I will try again.
Do you, EdJ pray to the son of God, Jesus – Yes or No?
March 4, 2016 at 11:27 pm#810052Ed JParticipantHi Miia,
I answered your first question. Now you answer my first question,
and then I will answer your second question. So I will ask it again:Q#1 Do you believe “the spirit of Christ” is God? Yes or No?
“Yes” – “No” – “I don’t know”
Take your pick
March 4, 2016 at 11:32 pm#810053Ed JParticipantPlease stop flooding the thread Ed.
I will try again.
(Q#2) Do you, EdJ pray to the son of God, Jesus – Yes or No?
Hi Miia,
I want to answer your second question,
but not until you answer my first question!_______________
God bless
Ed JMarch 4, 2016 at 11:47 pm#810054Ed JParticipantHi Miia,
I hope you weren’t thinking you were going to ask all the questions.
Because if you were, you’re sadly mistaken. You ask a question,
then I ask a question. Then you ask your second question,
then I ask my second question, that’s how it works.
And you even had the first question here!If you want an answer to your second question,
than please answer my first question.
Stop ignoring my question!_________________

Ed JMarch 4, 2016 at 11:57 pm#810055MiiaParticipantThe spirit of God is a part of God. THAT is my answer.
How about you ask Paul.
These things God has revealed to us through the Spirit. For the Spirit searches everything, even the depths of God. 11For who knows a person’s thoughts except the spirit of that person, which is in him? So also no one comprehends the thoughts of God except the Spirit of God.
As you can see, your question (Is the spirit of Christ (Holy Spirit) God the Father) can’t be answered with a ‘Yes or a No’. Which is why my answer was “The Holy Spirit is a part of God”. However, the question I asked you is simple. Do you pray to the Son of God? It’s a Yes or No, and you do know the answer.
Please stop doing what you do. I requesting you answer each question with ONE post; and without using scripture (because that is how you avoid answering).
March 5, 2016 at 12:09 am#810056Ed JParticipantAs you can see, your question can’t be answered with a ‘Yes or a No’.
Hi Miia,
That is not a valid answer.
March 5, 2016 at 12:10 am#810057Ed JParticipantThe spirit of God is a part of God. THAT is my answer.
Hi Miia,
My question number (Q#1) one WAS NOT…
Do you believe “The Spirit of God” is a part of God?Here instead is what I asked…
Q#1 Do you believe “the spirit of Christ” is God? “Yes” or “No”?
(remember “I don’t know” is also an acceptable answer)_______________
God bless
Ed JMarch 5, 2016 at 12:15 am#810058Ed JParticipantHi Miia,
I see you are trying to change the question again.
As you can see, your question (Is the spirit of Christ God the Father) can’t be answered with a ‘Yes or a No’.
Here instead is what I asked…
Q#1 Do you believe “the spirit of Christ” is God? “Yes” or “No”?
(remember “I don’t know” is also an acceptable answer)_______________
God bless
Ed JMarch 5, 2016 at 12:25 am#810059MiiaParticipantEd, stop avoiding the question! You are supposed to be the teacher (you claim),yet you can’t answer this simple question.
Do you, EdJ pray to the son of God, Jesus – Yes or No?
March 5, 2016 at 12:27 am#810060MiiaParticipantThis isn’t about what you asked me (in which I answered). It’s about what I asked you, which you avoid. You are flooding this thread deliberately – and you know that.
March 5, 2016 at 12:31 am#810061MiiaParticipantYes or no?

No Miia,
You instead are avoiding my question…
Q#1 Do you believe “the spirit of Christ” is God? “Yes” or “No”?
(remember “I don’t know” is also an acceptable answer)…when you answer my question number 1, then
I will most assuredly answer your question number 2._______________

Ed JMarch 5, 2016 at 12:38 am#810063Ed JParticipantYes or no?
Right, that is what you have to answer!
(+ “I don’t know” is also acceptable)March 5, 2016 at 12:45 am#810064MiiaParticipantDo you, EdJ pray to the son of God, Jesus – Yes or No?
I could ask any Christian I know, and they’d answer straight away.
Is there a reason you can’t?
