Terra, you can make the scriptures say whatever you want them to say. The closer you are to God the less there is to know, and this I know.

I also know that whatever is said here will be opposed by you. True?

And Terra, do you still believe Jesus was [not] risen in the flesh? See, you believe JW literature over the words of Jesus him self.

    shimmer

yes i still believe that Christ was not resuscitate in his old body that died ,

because of the reason of the offering of his body for us,

if i am wrong God will make me see it later.

and the scripture i showed to Kerwin in James.1;…,can not be twisted ,or can you ??

    Pierre

    Terra,

My view is different than yours, but everyones views are different, so, ok.

    Karmarie

I do understand ,but that is what all of us as to face ,

the question to me is ;did the flesh that died ,was it more important than the fact that Jesus was back to live and showed himself to his disciples,

because it(flesh) was disposed of,would this not prevent decay ??also he as sacrifice his body for our sins,to God.

flesh is a shell ,a tent,it is the spirit of the person that is the soul, not the flesh.

I do agree with that. We just differ on how we see the risen Christ. So we have to agree to disagree, on some things.

I have read again what was said. To believe like Tim Kraft that now we are perfect, is dangerous. That to me is a self-righteousness attitude. We should all be humble. To grow into what Jesus teaches, in time we will. However like Paul said is true. We do what we don't want to do, and don't do what we are to do. It is sin in us that makes us sin, and in this body of flesh Paul says we do sin….. However sin is not imputed to us.

Rom 4:5 ¶ But to him that worketh not, but believeth on him that justifieth the ungodly, his faith is counted for righteousness.

Rom 4:6 Even as David also describeth the blessedness of the man, unto whom God imputeth righteousness without works,

Rom 4:7 [Saying], Blessed [are] they whose iniquities are forgiven, and whose sins are covered.

Rom 4:8 Blessed [is] the man to whom the Lord will not impute sin.

I believe that is so much different then to believe that we are now perfect.

And if we do sin, we have a Mediator to go to the Throne of God and ask for the forgiveness of that sin…..That is another reason why I believe that we are not now made perfect. Why would we need a Mediator for….But we don't sin intentionally….

    Pierre!

Gen 2:7 And the LORD God formed man [of] the dust of the ground, and breathed into his nostrils the breath of life; and man became a living soul.

Eze 18:4 Behold, all souls are mine; as the soul of the father, so also the soul of the son is mine: the soul that sinneth, it shall die.

It is our body that die, not our Spirit…..

what is it that God made that we are men ?is the body or is it the spirit with in or both?

we know only the flesh dies ,the spirit return to God,

so what is it that God formed out of the dust, and that return to the dust ??

so it is the flesh that dies and this in according with Adam s sin.but the soul (spirit of us)go to God ,for resurrection of judgement right ?

Ge 1:26 Then God said, “Let us make man in our image, in our likeness, and let them rule over the fish of the sea and the birds of the air, over the livestock, over all the earth, and over all the creatures that move along the ground.”

Ge 2:7 the LORD God formed the man from the dust of the ground and breathed into his nostrils the breath of life, and the man became a living being.

what would mean “in our image”? and our likeness”?

how is the image of “US” and OUR” ?

and what is the “LIKENESS of US ” ?

Ge 5:3 When Adam had lived 130 years, he had a son in his own likeness, in his own image; and he named him Seth.
    Jesus is also an image,
2Co 4:4 The god of this age has blinded the minds of unbelievers, so that they cannot see the light of the gospel of the glory of Christ, who is the image of God.
Ge 9:6 “Whoever sheds the blood of man,
    by man shall his blood be shed;
for in the image of God
    has God made man.

Isa 40:18 To whom, then, will you compare God?
What image will you compare him to?

so did the spirit of men was first and then the flesh ??

or both at the same time ?

the breath of live is the breathing of air so man brain and blood start moving I gess here .

Terricca…………That is right when you die the Spirit goes back to who gave it in the first place, but you are dead no longer a living Soul or being. ” WHEN A MAN DIES HIS THOUGHTS PARISH” notice (HIS) thoughts (PARISH) now if your Thoughts “PARISH” you no longer exist. Get IT, God does not resurrect you spirit, He resurrects (YOUR)Own particular body and add Spirit Back into (IT)>and then you become a living Soul (AGAIN)> Simple think about it, no Mystery or forcing of ideas to try to make something complicated out of this. When a man die that is it and will remain that way for ever if God the Father does not (RESURRECT) a new body and add spirit back into it . That is why there is such a thing as a resurrection it is to restore us a body, a spirit is not resurected no where in scripture that i know of, only Bodies are.

Why do you think it say “we wait to witness the Redemption of our “BODIES” For?.

    peace and love………………………………gene
