To ALL:
Is it possible that Nick can really believe the Bible when he suggests that the creatures in heaven commited idolatry when they sang a song to Jesus which was about Jesus? I personally think not.
Quote (Nick Hassan @ June 29 2010,08:45) Hi KJ,
We who are in Christ worship God with him.
Your faith is in other gods.
So you deny the legitimacy of songs to Christ and about Christ?Now when He had taken the scroll, the four living creatures and the twenty-four elders fell down before the Lamb, each having a harp, and golden bowls full of incense, which are the prayers of the saints. 9 And they sang a new song, saying:
“ You are worthy to take the scroll,
And to open its seals;
For You were slain,
And have redeemed us to God by Your blood
Out of every tribe and tongue and people and nation,
10 And have made us[d] kings[e] and priests to our God;
And we[f] shall reign on the earth.”So you're saying that the four living creatures and the twenty-four elders in heaven were wrong for singing to the Lamb and about the Lamb? Are you sayng that they were singing and speaking contrary to the Spirit?

Quote (Nick Hassan @ June 29 2010,09:31) Hi KJ,
We are warned about idolatry[1JN5] and the worship of the created instead of the Creator.[Rom1]
Men prefer to worship the messenger of their own kind rather than listening to him as God advised.
Where are we warned about idolatry concerning Jesus?You have clearly answered my question. You believe that the four living creatures and the twenty-four elders committed idolatry in singing to the Lamb and about the Lamb. You are clearly an unbeliever and you have no place in the kingdom. WJ is correct in categorizing you among those to whom Jesus says, “Depart from me you workers of iniquity. I never knew you.”
You have proven that you do not believe the Bible.

Idolatry is of men.
Your accusations are unfounded and based on your ignorance of the Spirit of Christ.
The Word that was in Christ Jesus was with God in the beginning and inspired the prophets[1Peter1].June 28, 2010 at 10:57 pm#200644Ed JParticipantQuote (Kangaroo Jack @ June 29 2010,09:48) To ALL: the Roo

Nick,You should be placed in the “skeptics” section here. You definitely do not accept the testimony of the Christian Bible. You have clearly suggested that the creatures and the elders who sang to the Lamb around the heavenly throne were idolaters.
I am not attacking you. I am exposing you.

Nick,How can you claim to believe the Bible when you say that those who sang to the Lamb around the heavenly throne were idolaters? After the singing was done did God cast them out of heaven into the pit?
You are under wrath Nick.

Certainly Jesus deserves admiration for stooping down
to pick us up, making us kings and priests to our Father.
Rev.5:10 And (Jesus) hast made us unto [our YHVH=117]
kings and priests: and we shall reign on the earth. (Rom.8:17)You still haven't told me how old you are?
31 years of marriage, plus 18 equals 49; is this correct?God bless

Normally I wouldn't ask how old someone is,
but you brought up age in another thread;
indicating you were older than me. So if you are 49,
you are NOT older than me like you said you were.My goal is to seek agreement with people. Is yours?

Hi Jack,Am I not alllowed to praise my son when he does well? Does that make him God when I do?
This is silly. God never said He is the only one who has glory or deserves praise of any kind, did He?

Hi Jack,Here are some lyrics for you about the lamb…
Great is Thy faithfulness!

Morning by morning new mercies I see.
All I have needed Thy hand hath provided;
