Hi,
Mt28 ylt
“18And having come near, Jesus spake to them, saying, `Given to me was all authority in heaven and on earth;
19having gone, then, disciple all the nations,..
20teaching them to observe all, whatever I did command you,) and lo, I am with you all the days — till the full end of the age.' “
The teachings and instructions of Jesus to his disciples was to be continued after his departure.
But when he returns will he find faith on the earth?

Although left unanswered, this could imply that when he does arrive in kingdom power, such faith would not be common.

True.Perhaps because men have twisted and sanitised and altered his teachings.
Now so many follow fools and their doctrinesApril 29, 2014 at 3:41 am#380043NickHassanParticipantHi,
First obey and then you may be appointed to a role by the LordMay 2, 2014 at 7:36 am#380289NickHassanParticipantHi,
How thick can natural men be?
The disciples had just seen 4000 fed with 7 loaves and few fish yet they stressed that they had only brought one loaf with them to take home in the boat.Mk8
2 I have compassion on the multitude, because they have now been with me three days, and have nothing to eat:3 And if I send them away fasting to their own houses, they will faint by the way: for divers of them came from far.
4 And his disciples answered him, From whence can a man satisfy these men with bread here in the wilderness?
5 And he asked them, How many loaves have ye? And they said, Seven.
6 And he commanded the people to sit down on the ground: and he took the seven loaves, and gave thanks, and brake, and gave to his disciples to set before them; and they did set them before the people.
7 And they had a few small fishes: and he blessed, and commanded to set them also before them.
8 So they did eat, and were filled: and they took up of the broken meat that was left seven baskets.
9 And they that had eaten were about four thousand: and he sent them away.
10 And straightway he entered into a ship with his disciples, and came into the parts of Dalmanutha.
11 And the Pharisees came forth, and began to question with him, seeking of him a sign from heaven, tempting him.
12 And he sighed deeply in his spirit, and saith, Why doth this generation seek after a sign? verily I say unto you, There shall no sign be given unto this generation.
13 And he left them, and entering into the ship again departed to the other side.
14 Now the disciples had forgotten to take bread, neither had they in the ship with them more than one loaf.
15 And he charged them, saying, Take heed, beware of the leaven of the Pharisees, and of the leaven of Herod.
16 And they reasoned among themselves, saying, It is because we have no bread.
17 And when Jesus knew it, he saith unto them, Why reason ye, because ye have no bread? perceive ye not yet, neither understand? have ye your heart yet hardened?
18 Having eyes, see ye not? and having ears, hear ye not? and do ye not remember?
19 When I brake the five loaves among five thousand, how many baskets full of fragments took ye up? They say unto him, Twelve.
20 And when the seven among four thousand, how many baskets full of fragments took ye up? And they said, Seven.
21 And he said unto them, How is it that ye do not understand?
May 2, 2014 at 3:38 pm#380312GeneBalthropParticipantHi………..True Faith has all but been lost on this earth and as a consequence hardly no Miracles in peoples lives. The Parable of the unjust Judge clearly show this. Luk 18:2-8
The word Faith has be changed to supposition. Scripture say Faith is “EVIDENCE” of thing NOT SEEN, Not some form of what men suppose is truth , but what they absolutely Know is the truth by God revealing himself fin there lives. tell me this he that does Miracles among you does he do it by works of Law or by the hearing of your faith. Paul ask that question , I also ask, it is still a relevant question

Faith is grace2 Peter 1.5
May 2, 2014 at 9:12 pm#380329GeneBalthropParticipantNick……..No scripture says Faith is Grace, the word grace means unmerited pardon or extended favor While indeed the Faith of Jesus in God brought us our unmerited Pardon, and indeed Grace is the result of His Faith and our, the word faith is not the same thing as the word Grace. IMO
Here is the meaning of the word Faith Nick………Heb 11:1……. Now Faith “IS” the substance of things hoped for, the “EVIDENCE” of thing “NOT SEEN”.
Nick no point in changing meanings of words brother. We need to believe what scripture actually says, not what we want them to say, I know you already know this Nick.
peace and love to you and yours……………..gene

2peter 12 Grace and peace be multiplied unto you through the knowledge of God, and of Jesus our Lord,
3 According as his divine power hath given unto us all things that pertain unto life and godliness, through the knowledge of him that hath called us to glory and virtue:
4 Whereby are given unto us exceeding great and precious promises: that by these ye might be partakers of the divine nature, having escaped the corruption that is in the world through lust.
5 And beside this, giving all diligence, add to your faith virtue; and to virtue knowledge;
6 And to knowledge temperance; and to temperance patience; and to patience godliness;
7 And to godliness brotherly kindness; and to brotherly kindness charity.
8 For if these things be in you, and abound, they make you that ye shall neither be barren nor unfruitful in the knowledge of our Lord Jesus Christ.
9 But he that lacketh these things is blind, and cannot see afar off, and hath forgotten that he was purged from his old sins.
10 Wherefore the rather, brethren, give diligence to make your calling and election sure: for if ye do these things, ye shall never fall:
11 For so an entrance shall be ministered unto you abundantly into the everlasting kingdom of our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ.
12 Wherefore I will not be negligent to put you always in remembrance of these things, though ye know them, and be established in the present truth.
