There is not a single aspect of your Hybrid Christ theory that doe not lead to contradiction.
First you claim that Jesus cannot be tempted with Evil because he is God. the contradiction occurs because that means Christ was not temped like all men. NOT!
Second you claim Jesus is God but cannot define what died on the cross without saying God died on the cross. You must define it with more mystery and slight of hand tricks.
You doctrine is full of deception and as long as you make yourself aligned with it you take on the role of a deceiver.

Getting back to if God can be tempted, I don't think so. He made all and knows all. Jesus however who was flesh did get tempted. The difference is that Jesus was flesh…. God the Father is not…. And never will be. He is Almighty. What does Almighty really stand for, if we make Him just like us, then He is not Almighty and God. Flesh is weak, therefore Scriptures tell us to walk in the Spirit and you will not sin…

These forums are of no real practical value. Very few if any minds are changed and they lack the honest personal interaction that makes a ministry worthwhile.
I said nothing bad about the Word of God. I merely commented on the usefulness of forums to properly represent the actual purposes of the Word. 99% of the people on forums are not willing to follow any honest interpretation principles but are only on to debate there own take on things.
Unfortunately many on such boards have no idea what the Word is for anyway, so they fit in here very well. Those are the ones that so vehemently defend a forums use.BTW I will come and go on the board as I wish. I do not need your permission as if you were something in the kingdom or this world. Your rebuke can only have meaning if I you were to have earned my respect. Your comments certainly dissolve that. If you do not like my take on this forum then why don't you leave. I am getting just what I expected from it. Something to pass the time while I am sick. I do not expect any real challenge to my beliefs and I do not expect to change any others.

Your post to me is a prime example of one of the fruits of forums. When you first came on the forum you were full of kindness and mercy. However you like so many of the rest of us have become more and more shaded. It is a result of the adversarial nature of the forum venue. WJ is the same way. His posts have become increasingly antagonistic. I also include myself in all of the above. That is why I do not frequent the board as much as I used to and take many breaks from it.

I broke my feet several years ago and because I have diabetes, they have not healed properly. I will be having hyperbaric treatments to speed the healing.Martian,

DavidObviously you haven't read the thread. The same Hebrew word that was brought over into the Greek LXX where the children of Israel “Tempted” YHWH, is the same Greek word used in the NT for Jesus temtations!

WJ…..Scripture say GOD can not be tempted by Sin. How does an al Knowing being who knows the beginning from the end of a matter be tempted by anything. He may react to a situation but i don't believe He is tempted by it. We are lead away when we are tempted, but God is NOT ever led or controlled by temptations. IMO

GeneJesus was not temted by sin either. There was no lust in him to be led away by. Jesus didn't have a fallen sinful nature.
Satan came to him and found nothing in him.
Oh thats right you do not believe that satan exist as a sentient being.

WJ……….Jesus most certainly had temptations (IN) Him scripture say He was TEMPTED in (ALL MANOR) even as we are. Did you take that out of your TRINITARIAN BIBLE. Fact is Jesus was (ONLY) a 100% HUMAN Being and and did not become a Son of GOD untiil He recieved (HOLY SPIRIT) at the Gordan river, This anointing gave Him the ability to drive sin our of HIS LIFE. That is why He was lead out into the wilderness (AFTER) His rebirth of the SPIRIT (IN) HIM. The Adversarial SPIRIT was HIS own flesh which He conquered by GOD'S Spirit (IN) HIM . Why do you think scripture says “THIS DAY I HAVE BEGOTTEN YOU” , not some past time as you TRINITARIANS AND PREEXISTENCES preach.
Something to consider….Jesus told us to be of good cheer (Because I Have Overcome) NOW ask yourself why should we be of good cheer because (HE) overcame SIN and obviously if he overcame sin it definitely was a problem for Him. But even more why should we be of good Cheer, after all that was Jesus who made it not us right?, but wait the same God that empowered Jesus to overcome HIS Human Nature has the same Power to work in Us also and cause the same effect in us. So Yes we should be of good Cheer then.
Because He (GOD) that was (IN) Jesus, was greater then HE(Jesus HIMSELF) that was (IN) the World. Jesus is Our proto-type of the salvation Process and it works the SAME Way for Us. “LET THIS MIND BE (IN) YOU THAT WAS IN CHRIST JESUS OUR Lord. IMO
