    Hi Marlin,
    Everyone is born of water??
    No scriptural support for this.

    Hi Nick

When a fetes is growing inside of it's mothers womb, it is surrounded in amniotic fluid.  At first, this fluid is mainly water with electrolytes, then as the baby develops, the water starts to contain proteins, and other things which aid the babes growth.

When a woman goes into labour, her water breaks.  This is called the fore waters.  The rest of the fluid inside is called the hind water, and this all comes out when baby is born.

Hence we get the meaning, that we are all born of water.

This is not explained in the scriptures, because it is not a medical journal.

So before we can get into the kingdom of God, we must be born flesh first. Born of Water.
Then at the appointed time, (Christ's 2nd coming) we will be raised or changed to spirit.
Flesh and blood cannot inherit the kingdom of God,
but when we are born again into spirit (changed)
    only then,
    can we inherit the kingdom,
and travel to heaven and back and so forth.
    Only Spirit can do this.
    flesh can not.

The angels of God are not born of water.  They were created. They already share the kingdom with God, created for that very purpose
so they don't need to inherit, it's already theirs.
and they cannot be born again.
We can however, and must go through this final process
before we can enter the kingdom
    which is our reward.

Don't get confused with the renewing of the mind.
This obviously has to happen first,
for the rest to take place.

    God bless

    Hi Georgie,

    YES!   …excellent post, Journey42!   …and:
The fallen Angels need first to be born human,
and then need to be born again to be redeemed.

    Your brother
    in Christ, Jesus.

    Hi Ed

    I think you misunderstood me.

Fallen Angels are created. Not born
There's no forgiveness for them, as they have blasphemed the holy spirit.

The Holy angels of God are created as well. They are not born or reborn. They already have the kingdom.

To be born again is for us mortals. The process we must go through before we enter the kingdom. First born flesh, then reborn spirit at Christ's 2nd coming.

I shouldn't of brought up angels, it's only confusing the topic now.

    True Journey,
You did not mention the fallen angels.
But we should not follow theologians who rely on logic and not scripture.

    Hi Nick

I'm glad you understand I did not imply that now.

Just trying to show you what born of water means.
The water in the mothers womb.

    Hi Journey,
Yes that is a popular opinion.
But it has no basis in fact [Scripture]

    Hi Nick

Yes true. Theologians are of the world. The World teaching the world things about God. Modern day scribes and pharisees.
In their exams, they have to answer according to the doctrine they have been taught. If they don't answer the questions they way they are supposed to, then they FAIL. No holy spirit for them, no job, no title. Funny isn't it, man handing out the holy spirit to those who have paid to learn.

But don't dismiss logic. God gave us brain to sort through information, and filter. Logic is good.

    Hi MB,
    Water from heaven?
    Is it in scripture?

    Genesis 1
6 And God said, “Let there be an expanse between the waters to separate water from water.” 7 So God made the expanse and separated the water under the expanse from the water above it. And it was so. 8 God called the expanse “sky.” And there was evening, and there was morning—the second day.

9 And God said, “Let the water under the sky be gathered to one place, and let dry ground appear.” And it was so.

There is also more.  Would you like to discuss it?  Or would you rather just make condescending comments?

It's logic Nick. And we can't deny babies grow in water in the womb, and come out from this water.

You have been taught something else, that's why you can't accept it maybe. It sounds strange to you?

I definitely don't understand what you are trying to say here Nick.

There's different kinds of flesh. The bible is an instruction manual for us humans. Not angels, and not animals.

Dont mock me please. I answered your question.

    Yes journey,
But the churches you judge have done what you are doing.
They build on human Logic applied to one verse.
We have to do better to be servants.

    Hi,
The waters of childbirth are not spoken of in scripture and certainly never in relation to salvation.
Heavenly waters are the result of overactive imaginations

    Psalm 148:4
Praise him, you highest heavens and you waters above the skies.

    2 Peter 3:5
But they deliberately forget that long ago by God’s word the heavens existed and the earth was formed out of water and by water.

    John 4:14
but whoever drinks the water I give him will never thirst. Indeed, the water I give him will become in him a spring of water welling up to eternal life.”

    Revelation 22:1
Then the angel showed me the river of the water of life, as clear as crystal, flowing from the throne of God and of the Lamb.

Surely we have nothing like “the water of life” on our planet?

There are still many more scriptures.
