Matthew 10:29-31
New International Version (NIV)29 Are not two sparrows sold for a penny? Yet not one of them will fall to the ground outside your Father’s care.[a] 30 And even the very hairs of your head are all numbered. 31 So don’t be afraid; you are worth more than many sparrows.
Footnotes:
a.Matthew 10:29 Or will; or knowledge
1) Do you believe that a sparrow does not die without God allowing it to perish?
2) Do you believe that sparrow’s death is part of God’s righteous plan?
3) Do you believe you are more valuable to God than many sparrows?January 16, 2012 at 5:49 pm#272701kerwinParticipantTo all,
How do you know you have strong belief in this teaching of Jesus'?
January 16, 2012 at 6:18 pm#272704seekingtruthParticipant1) No
2) No
3) YesI believe that when God gave dominion to man He did just that (at least for the first few ages we're now in the last one) and all that happens on earth is as a result of cause and effect, except where man (through prayer) has “empowered” God to interfere (thus not breaking His giving man dominion) or satan's interference (although he seems to have to operate within some boundaries).
I further believe that this parable shows that despite allowing man to have and keep dominion He still lovingly tracks and cares for every detail no matter how small (and the special place of man in His plan).
Now I do believe that God sees His overall purpose fulfilled by “moving the pieces” in the background while not overriding man's dominion.

I am trying to learn more about implementing Jesus' teachings than debating them. This one I believe has points that can also be gleaned from Job 1:9-11 where God put a hedge around Job and his family and blessed the work of Job's hands. Satan then was unable to harm Job until God chose to give that power to The evil one.
I see a pigeon as a type of Job that will not fall to the ground until God gives Satan the power to take his life.

Quote Job 2:10 New International Version (NIV)
10 He replied, “You are talking like a foolish[a] woman. Shall we accept good from God, and not trouble?”
In all this, Job did not sin in what he said.
Footnotes:Job 2:10 The Hebrew word rendered foolish denotes moral deficiency.
Satan is the one who freely chose to put trouble into Job's life and yet Job attributed it to God? Why was Job said to do right for doing so?
What were Satan's motives for his actions?
What were God's motives for giving Satan the power to so trouble Job?
How can we use this knowledge to seek to increase our faith and have the same mindset of Job, even when trouble comes into our life?

This belief did more to “implement Jesus' teachings” than nearly anything else. I was having trouble with my prayer life as who was I to advise God on how to run things (after all if He was in full control than why pray, otherwise I would be praying against what was His will) Then I realized that the evil in the world is best understood as a work of satan, the god of this age. Job was hedged about because it was satan's desire to ruin him but as a man of faith (one of those to whom dominion was given) had merited God's protection. As to why God allowed it… to demonstrate to us and all of heaven true faith in God.

Your post is of a very excellent quality.
I believe that God is in control and that all things that happen are part of his plan to rescue all those that can be rescued from this world of sin. When I pray; I, just like you, have taken to heart that what may appear good to me is not really good.
The leper in the below example from scripture states the words “if you are willing” as he knew God worked through Jesus and that he himself was limited.
In this case God saw healing the leper served his purpose and so the later was made clean. If instead he had foreseen that healing would not serve his purpose then the leper would have remained diseased.
As for the leper, he did no wrong but instead showed both humility with the words “if you are willing” and faith with the words “you can make me clean”. If, instead, the leper had demanded the healing then he would have sinned, for whom is a human being to demand anything of God?
Example:
Quote Matthew 8:2
New International Version (NIV)2 A man with leprosy[a] came and knelt before him and said, “Lord, if you are willing, you can make me clean.”
Footnotes:a.Matthew 8:2 The Greek word traditionally translated leprosy was used for various diseases affecting the skin.
There are bad things that occur in this world, such as Job experienced, but even when they happen I know that they in some way or ways serve a purpose toward advancing God’s plan. I know even when I hope and pray they do not happen it is sometimes better that the do. In all cases I trust God, more than any alternative, to do what is more loving.
I believe that each and every creature is protected by God. Because there is sin in the world God will reluctantly withdraw that protection at various times and extents for his own righteous reasons. Those reasons are all in keeping with his plan. Satan has his own wicked plans that he implements in various ways when that protection is withdrawn. The soul of each and every human is proved by these things.
