    Hi TC,

The Spirit of Christ IS the Holy Spirit.

    Not so Nick,

One is the spirit of the son (Spirit of Christ). and
the other is the Spirit of the Father (Holy Spirit),

“And because ye are sons, God hath sent
forth the Spirit of his Son (Spirit of Christ) into
your hearts, crying, Abba, (Holy Spirit) Father.” (Gal 4:6)

“Furthermore we have had fathers of our flesh which corrected us,
and we gave them reverence: shall we not much rather be
in subjection unto the Father of spirits (Holy Spirit), and live?” (Heb 12:9)

    Hi Nick:

    You said:

If you don’t have the spirit of Christ you are none of his. Romans 8

The spirit is what the church is built on and defined by and so essential to all.

    Me:

Every single verse that you see “spirit” in Romans 8 is addressing the holy spirit.

    Eph 4:4 There is one body, and one Spirit, even as ye are called in one hope of your calling;

    Me:

As I had written in an earlier post, in the end, there will be only one spirit for both man and beast: the holy spirit.

The only other place besides 1 Peter 1:11 where the ‘spirit of Christ” is mentioned, is:

Romans 8:9 But ye are not in the flesh, but in the Spirit, if so be that the Spirit of God dwell in you. Now if any man have not the Spirit of Christ (spirit of God), he is none of his.

    Me:

I had shown that the spirit of Christ in 1 Peter 1:11 is the spirit of God.

2 Cor 5:19 To wit, that God was in Christ….

    Me:

God’s spirit was in Christ’s mind. That is the spirit of Christ.

John 1:18 No man hath seen God at any time; the only begotten Son, which is in the bosom of the Father, he hath declared him.

    Me:

Christ was the only son that was begotten by the holy spirit and the seed of David at conception. The book of John was written years after Christ was here. The holy spirit was and is Christ’s only spirit.

Acts 2:31 Seeing what was to come, he spoke of the resurrection of the Messiah, that he was not abandoned to the realm of the dead, nor did his body see decay.

    Me:

    No spirit here.

1 Cor 2:16 For who hath known the mind of the Lord, that he may instruct him? But we have the mind of Christ.

Phil 2:5 Let this mind be in you, which was also in Christ Jesus:

Isa 53:11 because he hath poured out his (H5315 nephesh: heart of his mind) unto death

Me: mind and heart are  two of the definitions of nephesh.

    Hi TC,

    Beasts have the Holy Spirit.

    No, not written.

Jesus always had only the anointing Holy Spirit.

No he was and still is a man.

Like us he could receive the Spirit while alive by his own spirit, and receive eternal life at his death

when the anointing Spirit takes over.

    Hi TC,

Like all the anointed of God he was alive in the Spirit when his own human spirit left him.

He visited the spirits in prison from the time of Noah,  who never had the law not heard the message of Salvation.

His SOUL was not  able to be held by Hades, and also his body did not decay

    Hi TC,

Yes the Spirit of God in Christ is the Spirit of Christ.

But God does not worship Himself or pray to Himself or serve Himself.

These things are all done by the Spirit as Rom 8, 1 Cor 12 , Eph 2 etc tell us.

It is the Spirit of the Son in us that calls out. ABBA, FATHER as in Galatians .

    Hi Nick:

    You had written:

    Beast have the holy spirit

    No, not written.

    Me:

True, only thing is that I did not write this. I said all will have the holy spirit as their only spirit in the end. This includes beasts. All will be in all through the holy spirit.

1 Cor 15:26 The last enemy that shall be destroyed is death. 27 For he hath put all things under his feet. But when he saith all things are put under him, it is manifest that he is excepted, which did put all things under him. 28 And when all things shall be subdued unto him, then shall the Son also himself be subject unto him that put all things under him, that God may be all in all. 29 Else what shall they do which are baptized for the dead, if the dead rise not at all? why are they then baptized for the dead?…31 I protest by your rejoicing which I have in Christ Jesus our Lord, I die daily.

Me: Last enemy to be destroyed is death (vs 26). The holy spirit gives everlasting life. God’s spirit will be in all—no more death (vs 28). Everyone’s mind will communicate with each other through the holy spirit (vs 28: all in all). All creation will have Christ’s human heart in them through the holy spirit that flows through his mind (vs 27) and through the saints minds. The dead we are baptized for are the beast, for man will have dominance over them.  There was one breath (spirit) in the beginning of creation for both man and beast (Eccl 13:19).  There will be one spirit at the end–the holy spirit.

Col 1:15 Who (Christ) is the image of the invisible God, the firstborn of every creature:

Romans 8:19 For the earnest expectation of the creature waiteth for the manifestation of the sons of God. 20 For the creature was made subject to vanity, not willingly, but by reason of him who hath subjected the same in hope, 21 Because the creature itself also shall be delivered from the bondage of corruption into the glorious liberty of the children of God. 22 For we know that the whole creation groaneth and travaileth in pain together until now.

Rev 5:13 And every creature which is in heaven, and on the earth, and under the earth, and such as are in the sea, and all that are in them, heard I saying, Blessing, and honour, and glory, and power, be unto him ( our heavenly father) that sitteth upon the throne, and unto the Lamb for ever and ever.

1 Cor 12:3 …no one can say, “Jesus is Lord,” except by the Holy Spirit.

    Me:

Therefore all man and beasts will have the spirit of God in them. In the end, there is only one spirit—the holy spirit.

    Eph 4:4 There is one body, and one Spirit, even as ye are called in one hope of your calling;

Notice in 1 Cor 15:26, Paul dies daily to his human spirit. In the end, there is one spirit.

    You wrote:

Jesus always had the anointing holy spirit.

    Me:

    True

    You

No he was and still is a man

    Me:

    True

    You:

Like us he could receive the spirit while alive by his own spirit and receive eternal life at his death when the anointing spirit takes over.

    Me:

There was only one spirit in Christ since his inception—the holy spirit. He could grow in the holy spirit in his mind.  He did not die to any spirit.

You will notice, as I have previously stated, that I have basically modified my approach and have referred to heart and mind in lieu of soul when addressing Christ.

    Hi Ed,

The Spirit of God is Holy.

The Spirit of Christ is the Spirit of God in Christ.

The Holy Spirit of God is not divided but is one. No division is proved by your verses.

    Hi TC,

Again you fear that the anointing Spirit of Christ is the spirit of the man Jesus.

    Not so.

He was not anointed before he was anointed.

    Hi Nick,

No it doesn’t. Here is what it shows…

“And now, O Father, glorify thou me with thine own self
with the glory which I had with thee before the world was.” (John 17:5)
