Hi,
Dan7
9I beheld till the thrones were cast down, and the Ancient of days did sit, whose garment was white as snow, and the hair of his head like the pure wool: his throne was like the fiery flame, and his wheels as burning fire.10A fiery stream issued and came forth from before him: thousand thousands ministered unto him, and ten thousand times ten thousand stood before him: the judgment was set, and the books were opened.
11I beheld then because of the voice of the great words which the horn spake: I beheld even till the beast was slain, and his body destroyed, and given to the burning flame.
12As concerning the rest of the beasts, they had their dominion taken away: yet their lives were prolonged for a season and time.
13I saw in the night visions, and, behold, one like the Son of man came with the clouds of heaven, and came to the Ancient of days, and they brought him near before him.
14And there was given him dominion, and glory, and a kingdom, that all people, nations, and languages, should serve him: his dominion is an everlasting dominion, which shall not pass away, and his kingdom that which shall not be destroyed
So here we have the One Almighty God on His throne in heaven and Jesus with him, being presented with a kingdom.
Why is only one called the Ancient of days as surely it is yet another term that should be shared among a coeternal trinity if such a fantasy is true?
Why would the Son need to be given anything if he is coequal?
Does he have his own throne in a back room somewhere?
Where is the third member?

So Daniel shows us that the God of heaven and earth, Who alone is called the Ancient of Days, is a superior being to His subservient Son.June 1, 2007 at 4:26 am#54351Not3in1ParticipantYes……where is the “third member” of the Trinity in the Daniel scripture? This has always bothered me. Could it be that the Holy Spirit is God, himself? And that is why there isn't a third “person” present? I don't know…..
The Son sounds very separate and distinct from the one who is called Ancient of Days. How can this be if they are ONE?

If God alone, in the presence of His Son, is called 'the ancient of days'
why do men say the monogenes Son was not begotten of Him in the beginning
but say they are co-eternal?May 20, 2012 at 10:03 am#298696NickHassanParticipantHi,
The trinity doctrine seems to be dying a slow death.
Only Jammin offers it. - AuthorPosts
