    Jammin,

    :D

Do you tell your English Teachers that is their opinion when they seek to teach you correct English use?

Did you actually spot an flaw in what I stated? If so then speak up.

1 john 5.20 does not say that christ is not true GOD.

the father and the son have the same nature, GOD.
    the father is true GOD
the son is also true GOD!

for exmple, you and your father have the same nature ,MAN!

    your father is truly man
and you are also truly man. unless you are an animal.

it is very clear in `1 john 5.20 that john refers the sentence to Christ as the true GOD.

let me post again the verse
    1 John 5:20

    English Standard Version (ESV)

20 And we know that the Son of God has come and has given us understanding, so that we may know him who is true; and we are in him who is true, in his Son Jesus Christ. He is the true God and eternal life.

now go back in john 1.1

john says the WORD is GOD!
    truly GOD!

    John 1:1

    Contemporary English Version (CEV)
    John 1
    The Word of Life
1In the beginning was the one

    who is called the Word.

    The Word was with God

    and was truly God.

not message or communication just like your imagination.

    read well. study hard.

i think you do better if you start planting sweet potatoes and just sell it to the market rather than reading and giving wrong meanings to the bible.

    Hi Jammin,
The nature of God was revealed in Jesus Christ after his anointing.
He displayed all the gifts and graces of God's Holy Spirit.
We too can share in that amazing Spirit.

He did not become God by doing so and neither do we.

    Hi Jammin,
Jesus has the nature of man. He was born of woman.
You cannot draw contrasts between one man and another according to nature.
The same Spirit from above that made him the Christ is available to his brothers and sisters now giving them eternal life too.

You are addressing Philippians 2:5-8 which uses Jesus as an example of the mindset that is to be in believers.  So a mature believer being in the form of God, thinking it not robbery to be equal with God:  would make himself of no reputation, taking on him the form of a servant, being made in the likeness of humanity: Being found in the fashion of a human being, would humble himself, and face even a torturous death.  That is why Jesus is the pioneer and finisher of our faith.

    Philippians 2
    King James Version (KJV)

5Let this mind be in you, which was also in Christ Jesus:
6Who, being in the form of God, thought it not robbery to be equal with God:
7But made himself of no reputation, and took upon him the form of a servant, and was made in the likeness of men:
8And being found in fashion as a man, he humbled himself, and became obedient unto death, even the death of the cross.

It is not clear to those who understand English better than you appear to.  The mystery presented by the sentence in verse 20 is who is he that is true?  We also are taught that Jesus is his Son and gives understanding of him.  I assure you that Jesus does not teach that he reveals himself.  If you have trouble then read Jesus’ teaching in Luke 10:22 to aid your learning.

    Jammin,

The topic of Philippians 2:5- is being of like Jesus in mind.  Jesus is then provided as an example.

    Here is a parallel Scripture.

    Ephesians 4:13

    New American Standard Bible (NASB)
13 until we all attain to the unity of the faith, and of the [a]knowledge of the Son of God, to a mature man, to the measure of the stature which belongs to the fullness of Christ.

Here is Scripture speaking of believers sharing the divine nature.

    2 Peter 1:4

    New American Standard Bible (NASB)
4 [a]For by these He has granted to us His precious and magnificent promises, so that by them you may become partakers of the divine nature, having escaped the corruption that is in the world by lust.

    Footnotes:

2 Peter 1:4 Lit Through which (things)

    Footnotes:

       Ephesians 4:13 Or true knowledge
Ephesians 4:13 Lit of the fullness

    N

but the ones that tells us about Jesus Christ preexistence are the same persons that tells us about Jesus become the anointed

how come you believe parts of their testimony and not the other ????????

so you have a personal motive to accept certain thing from Gods word ??? and not others ????

so you are judging the word and the servants of God ?????

how can you be blessed with the holy spirit ?????

Jn 17:20 “My prayer is not for them alone. I pray also for those who will believe in me through their message

SO YOU CAN NOT BE ONE WITH CHRIST AND HIS FATHER

Jn 17:21 that all of them may be one, Father, just as you are in me and I am in you. May they also be in us so that the world may believe that you have sent me.

SO YOU ARE ONE OF THOSE WHO HAVE NOT BELIEVE IN THEIR MESSAGE.

    Jammin,

You seem to lack knowledge in many areas. The word 'example' I used means “one that serves as a pattern to be imitated or not to be imitated”.  Who does Philippians 2:5 state serves as a pattern to be imitated?

What does 2 Peter 1:4 say believers may take part in?

When Christ became flesh, he was given a name JESUS.

the Son of God (christ) was with GOD! the WORD (christ) was GOD!

He was present originally with God.
