Of God

The Spirit is the ‘Spirit OF God’.
Yeshua is the ‘Son OF God’.
So is the Father, the ‘Father OF God’?

No, he is God HIMSELF. He is not OF anyone. Even Paul stated this when he said, “for us there is one God the Father“.

Have we forgotten what “OF” means?

Today’s confession by many Christians however opposes Paul’s words and is more like this: “for us there is one God the Father, God the Son, and God the Holy Spirit”.

Why the change? Read the following to learn the truth about the one true God.

I can not understand how people can confuse Jesus the Son of God with God the Father.
Jesus told us Himself to worship God the Father – His Father.
Yet, I am told that Jesus IS GOD.
Then I am confused even further with … “No … Jesus is not the Father but Jesus is the way to the Father, and we go to the Father through Him. So when we pray to Jesus and worship Jesus we are worshiping the Father.
I then say … “But yet, you don’t actually pray to God the Father?” and I am replied with “Yes… a few times I have”.

    I don’t get it.
It just leaves one mighty confused!

    Hi justme and welcome.
Jesus taught his disciples to pray, “Our Father who art in Heaven, ….”.

Also, he didn’t say, “ask me”, but “ask in my name”.

Yes it is hard to understand why people think that praying to Jesus and worshipping him is the same as praying to God and worshipping him. After all it is not directed at the Father at all.

But it is true that if we do not honour the son, we do not honour the Father that sent him. But Jesus did teach us how to pray and it is not this prayer you hear often where someone is praying to the Father one second, then the son, then the spirit as if there were three members that are all God.

    Hi, thanks.
Most of the trinitarians that I know and also the ones encountered on the internet are in day to day conversation (not debate) 99% focused on the Son and I rarely hear mention of the Father, God. I wonder: is this how Jesus intended it to be? It was not the feeling I had when reading scriptures….the trinity three in one aside.

Jesus said, “no one comes to the Father, except by me”. So he wants us to come to the Father by him. His own words. Yet as you say, we rarely observe Christians coming to the Father likely because the Jesus they have been taught is God, thus they come to a Jesus who is God. This is why this Trinity Doctrine needs to be exposed. Nothing good comes from a lie.

“no one comes to the Father, except by me”.

no one comes… to the father… except by me.

“This, then, is how you should pray: “Our Father… who art in heaven, hallowed be thy name… ”.

Now to be a Christian is to be a follower of Christ. A Christian acknowledges Jesus as the Son of God and Lord, (other religions do not accept Jesus as the Son of God and Lord).

But tell me, as one of the Disciples has also asked… “How ought we to pray”?

And what would a trinitarian say?

They often pray to three persons and address them randomly it appears in the same prayer. Their doctrine permits this because three are God and we pray to God. But in scripture Jesus clearly teaches us to pray to the Father.

I guess it depends on which Trinitarians, they all seem to be different.

I think, we think too much. Sometimes we need to let go, and just pray honestly, not holding back. Not thinking who, we are praying to, knowing Jesus is listening and GOD is listening.

    Know what I mean?
