The british empire never sets, so they say.
That was a saying before World War II. It has declined since then. The British Empire came long after the Roman empire and the Persian-Media Empire was more an evolution from the Babylonian one as I believe they took the later over through a coup.
We are well into the iron and clay age according to what I see.
