No, God did not choose him, he was chosen by people that apparently disgusted with status quo politicians.
This means you must also hold that the person who gave the prophecy back in 2011 is a false prophet. I cannot see any other way. You can’t say that you don’t know if it is a false prophecy, but also affirm that God absolutely did not choose Trump.
why is it that now suddenly in the case of Trump we should see the hand of God ?
Okay, you seem to have missed the point.
Go back to the first post. It contains a prophecy about Donald Trump being president back when no one in the world believed he would. Probably not even Trump himself. The prophecy was supposedly given somewhere in 2011 and by the time it was posted to this site, most people did not give Trump a chance at being president. But against all odds, he became president.
There are only two general conclusions.
It is a false prophecy uttered by a false prophet that coincidentally turned out to be true;
It was a true prophecy and came to pass.
I think both are possible, but both yourself and 942767 take a definite view, that of a false prophecy uttered by a false prophet. I want to see the proof of this view that is all.

Hi T8,
Good logic! No way around this:
It seems that people don’t consider how there view stacks up beforehand. It is good that you explain the repercussions of how his words works!
is it a prophecy ? or a logical assumption of what you know ?
Trump knew things about the swamp in the white house in the 80ths, 90ths and so on,it is all over the internet and has said that he wishes that someone comes along to challenge that ,if not he would do it ,
in this regard i clearly say this is a false prophet to the aware ones but a true one to the ignorant ,
to many gubler people with thick ignorance and believers in “weather forecasters”
I went back and listened to the so called prophecy, but I do not believe that God chose Donald Trump to president of the United States, He may have given this individual insight to the effect that the people would choose him. I know that he said that the Spirit of God said that he had “chosen” him. I do not believe this because the Lord is the head of the church, and that is where he would be involved in choosing those who are to be in authority.
Ed, you ask if God chose David, why can he not have chosen Donald Trump. David was chosen to be the King of Israel. The United States is not the church.
If you want to believe that God chose him, go right ahead, I don’t believe it. I could be wrong, and therefore, I cannot call this individual a false prophet, obviously, part of the prophecy has come true. We will see if the rest of the prophecy come true.
The prophet stated that this was to happen in 2012, but the people were not ready. Does God not know when the people would be ready? And when he says “his people weren’t ready”, to whom is he referring to when he says “His people”.
