There is a conspiracy theory that espouses the possible opening of the abyss caused by the world’s largest machine, the Hadron Collider.
While this seems far-fetched like many other conspiracy theories out there, I post this because it asks some interesting questions about our reality, other realities, and the veil that divides the visible from the unseen. It then shows what scientists at CERN hope to achieve, i.e., to glimpse other dimensions, universes, or parts of creation that are invisible to us. To view the invisible could well mean to glimpse the spiritual realm. The Bible even teaches us that all that is seen comes from that which is unseen.
Hebrews 11:3
By faith we understand that the universe was formed at God’s command, so that what is seen was not made out of what was visible.
2 Corinthians 4:18
So we fix our eyes not on what is seen, but on what is unseen, since what is seen is temporary, but what is unseen is eternal.
FYI, the last time the world’s biggest machine fired up, the god particle was discovered. It fires up again in June at double the energy. What will it discover this time?
