Tri-nity should really be re-named BI-nity….because in the VAST majority of the texts they cite…there is NO mention of the holy spirit…and the the ones that DO mention it….i.e. Matt 28 and 1 John 5..are debatable because those verses seem to be spurious and can be reliable found in the oldest manuscripts…so again…the trinity is a…[Read more]

I think that in SOME places where the ANGEL of the LORD is mentioned..it MAY actually have been JESUS since he is said to be the WORD of GOD…but its purely speculation on my part and it takes an exercise in exegesis for me to come to those conclusions…

Quote (Gene @ Nov. 20 2009,02:50)DK…..The subject Paul is addressing is not if we should keep the commandments or not it is (WHO) we keep them , is it laike a slave who is (forced) to obey his master, or is it through a desire to do right by the effectual working of the Spirit of GOD. Yall are arguing over semantics now…If you want to keep the “Law”..fine there is nothing to say that you can't..so as long as you don't judge as “wrong” those who don't…As long as you remember that “Grace” and More importantly “LOVE & Faith”…are ultimately what we live by…Paul spoke about those who “wanted to be under Law”..Galatians 4……[Read more]

dirtyknections replied to the topic The sign of Jonah in the forum Scriptural Teachings 15 years ago
True…but there was not a seperation of the two in this case because Jonah did not die…in his eyes..he (jonah) was as good as dead (his seeming predicament)…but he was not…his body did not die..again…i say study the hebrew…and compare the language in Jonah to the scriptures i quoted in psalms and job

Psalm 116:3 says, “The sorrows of death compassed me, and the pains of Sheol got hold upon me: I found trouble and sorrow.” Also, “For great thy mercy toward me: and thou hast delivered my soul from the lowest Sheol.( Psalm 86:13)Sorry for the multiple posts but i can't edit
