#8 in that video, has it been addressed? That being, people at the bottom of South America seeing the moons image upside compared to people in Canada?

I haven’t don’t this but if you have binoculars and are near a lake or oceon anywhere on the planet, supposedly you need only watch a boat and the further it gets away, you don’t just see it getting smaller as you would on a flat surface but see the bottom of the boat disappearing as it gets further away. Almost as if it suggest it is on a curved surface.

“What is the purpose of this deception—with NASA and scientists and others deceiving others into thinking the earth is spherical?”
You replied “the purpose behind it is to hide God.”
I’m not sue I understand. If the universe wasn’t as most believe, with a couple hundred billion galaxies each with let’s say a couple hundred billion stars, m…[Read more]

Hey mike,
don want to throw your conversation off. Haven’t thought about any of his at all, but have a couple questions which perhaps you already addressed.
What is the purpose of this deception—with NASA and scientists and others deceiving others into thinking the earth is spherical?
And, what do we think of the other planets, and stars. Are…[Read more]

Hey all. I’ve been gone for a year or so. I was on the international space station, helping canadarm2 to get up and running. What have I missed?

Extinction event? There have been 5 mass extinctions so far. The last one killed most dinosaurs and plants and animals.
We may have a 6th mass extinction. Or maybe we won’t. But homicide is an actual thing that actually happens. It’s not something that may happen. When thinking of violence people often look at what we are capable of, and o…[Read more]

I understand that some from various religious groups are having their heads cut off.
What im suggesting is, this has always been the case. Judicial toeture has existed in almost all places through most of history and only recently fallen out of favour.
During the Black Death, they went from village to village burning alive all the Jews. They s…[Read more]

I dot think it’s just knowledge that has made life better but also increased morality globally. Look at the homicide rate globally.
And as for the Middle East, I think you are comparing the Middle East (and we may as well throw Latin American countries in there too) to the rest of the world. And not comparing Middle East today to Middle East i…[Read more]

I am not suggesting ignoring suffering or saying everything is good so don’t expect anyone. I’m saying: if the world is getting safer, more healthy, better fed, better medical care, and less violent, then we should acknowledge that.
There is this belief among advocacy groups that you have to say everything is very bad ad getting worse. They t…[Read more]

I know the world is filled with pain and suffering. I’m just suggesting that a world with a child mortality rate of less than 3% is much much better than the world of the past which had a child mortality rate of about 50%.
As an example, I know that 3% is really reallly bad and could be much much better. I’m just saying: 3% is much better t…[Read more]

HOMICIDE is by far the best indicator becasue it kills way way way more than anything else and jomicides tend to get reported but rapes or assaults might not.
And homicide is way way way way down. It’s been falling for thousands of years. And continues to fall to this day.
Violence is decreasing and massively so.
david replied to the topic Signs Before the End of the Age in the forum Visions & Testimonies 7 years, 8 months ago
I still find it remarkable how violence is decreasing on the millennia scale, and the century scale and even the decade scale.
Graphs, and charts aren’t required for many categories of violence, since they went from legal and common place to almost non-existent:
HUMAN SACRIFICE extremely common for millennia, and even practiced among the…[Read more]

If sin is disobedience to god, then it would seem that slavery is not a sin. For god apparently regulated it, and never spoke negatively of it.
If god said: “slavery is okay,” then it would be moral to have slaves.
And if of god said: “slavery is a sin,” then it would be immoral to have salves.
Is it arbitrary or does God base his ideas o…[Read more]

“there are many things that should not exist but does ,satan did not do us any service”
Satan is not the one who seems to be regulating, condoning, and allowing the system of slavery among the Hebrews.
The thing that I think should bother people is: God made commands and rules for a ton of things that today seem extremely minor. Putting the wrong…[Read more]david replied to the topic Is slavery wrong? in the forum Faith 7 years, 10 months ago
It seems like we are almost saying god is a victim or a bystander to this practice of slavery. Yet all he had to do was say: “you shall have no slaves.” And: “you shall not beat slaves.” Had the nations around been having slaves and the Hebrews stood out as different, thousands of years ahead of the rest of the world, it would have been mi…[Read more]
