WHAT DOES IT MEAN THAT SOME SINS LEAD TO DEATH AND OTHERS DON’T?
All sin leads to death (Romans 6:23). And since “all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God” (Romans 3:23), we are all doomed to eternal death. Yet Jesus provided a way out by offering His perfect life in exchange for our sinful lives.Part of re…[Read more]

CROCODILE EYES
Crocodiles are among the largest and longest-living reptiles on Earth. Just like a tree, they have growth rings in their scales. By counting these rings, scientists can tell the age of a crocodile and know that some males can live up to 70 and even 100 years. Female crocodiles rarely grow…[Read more]

ISN’T SALVATION BY KEEPING THE LAW THE WAY OF MOSES, WHILE GRACE CAME THROUGH JESUS?
The contrast presented in this verse was not meant to put down the law. After all, it was Christ who gave the law to Moses and who said that He came to “fulfill the law” (Matthew 5:17). Through the personal appearance of…[Read more]

If my people, which are called by my name, shall humble themselves, and pray, and seek my face, and turn from their wicked ways; then will I hear from heaven, and will forgive their sin, and will heal their land.(2Chr.7:14)

UNIQUELY YOU
No doubt you’ve heard the American folk song that begins “Oh, give me a home where the buffalo roam, where the deer and the antelope play …” Contrary to these well-known lyrics, North America doesn’t have any antelope— but it does have the pronghorn. Although it is often called an antelop…[Read more]

Gene,
works of the law means legalism, that is, seeking to be justified by obedience to the law.
But this is impossible so that no one boasts. Moreover, no one has perfectly met the requirements of the law (except Christ Jesus). All have sinned and come short of the gory of God.
We are justified by grace, through faith that works by love, and not…[Read more]Berean replied to the topic Daily Devotions in the forum Inspirational writings & sermons 2 years, 5 months ago

DOES THE APOSTLE PAUL TEACH THAT THE TEN COMMANDMENTS DID NOT EXIST UNTIL SINAI?
Some teach that the phrase “until the law” here means that the law did not exist between Adam and the time of Moses. But the balance of the text, coupled with Romans 4:15, proves just the opposite: “Because the law bring…[Read more]

Hi LU
hypothesize that the Father is interdependent with the Son in being the one true God, not independent from the Son in being the one true God.
Do you agree Berean?
Me
The Father had needed, needs the Son for all things and so yes, HE IS (as the one true God) INTERDEPENDENT ON THE SON ,BECAUSE HE IS A JUST AND GOOD GOD.
