I gave you the biblical meaning of the expression “great sea,” “sea,” “many waters,”
which is found in Revelation chapter 17.
It doesn’t matter whether it’s the Mediterranean Sea or not. The Bible, in Daniel and Revelation, speaks to us through symbols:
sea, beasts, horns, crowns, woman, whore, winds, stars, etc.
Why try to add explanations we…[Read more]Berean replied to the topic Was Donald chosen by God? in the forum Prophetic News & Eschatology 1 week ago
@ proclaimer
Whether Daniel saw the Mediterranean or not changes nothing in the prophecy.
The great sea, also in Revelation 13
] And I stood upon the sand of the sea, and saw a beast rise up out of the sea, having seven heads and ten horns, and upon his horns ten crowns, and upon his heads the name of blasphemy.
And also in Revelation 17 expressed…Berean replied to the topic Was Donald chosen by God? in the forum Prophetic News & Eschatology 2 weeks, 4 days ago

I have never disagreed with your stance of when the Sabbath is; I’ve have countered your claim of “Sunday only worship” and that it will never happen as the entire world would have to enact it and not just the United States, which is the nation you continually point out.

I don’t subscribe to the Trinity.
As for the day of God, the Bible teaches us in both the New and Old Testaments that it is the Sabbath, not Sunday.Berean replied to the topic Daily Devotions in the forum Inspirational writings & sermons 1 month, 2 weeks ago
Coined The Ecumenical Trinity in the past: Councel of Nicea 325 AD, and present. Sunday Sacredness is dedicated to the Sun god of Rome! They want a One World Religion that unites them all, that is full of compromise and paganism… this is not of God! They have changed times and laws!

It’s not the geographical setting that matters here, but rather 👉the interpretation of a symbol 👈
In prophetic language, the sea, great waters symbolizes “peoples, multitudes, nations, and languages” (Revelation 17:15). In the Bible, a beast is a symbol of a nation or power. Sometimes it represents only civil power, or ecclesiastical power uni…[Read more]

Abel placed his trust in God and in the merits of the promised Savior of the world.
Cain did not place his trust in God and in the merits of the promised Savior.
The promised Savior is the one who “was to crush the head of the serpent (Satan)” (Genesis 3:15). This took place at the cross, when Satan was exposed, he, the father of lies, a murderer…[Read more]Berean replied to the topic Daily Devotions in the forum Inspirational writings & sermons 2 months, 2 weeks ago

The question isn’t about “sacrifices and offerings” (the Church knows perfectly well how to misuse them); the question is:
What is the meaning and purpose of Cain and Abel’s offering to God?
That’s YOUR original question!!!
me
It comes down to the same thing. It’s the same subject.Berean replied to the topic Daily Devotions in the forum Inspirational writings & sermons 2 months, 2 weeks ago
You can’t find anything on the internet?
I don’t believe you.
Besides, a Christian church that doesn’t have any ideas about sacrifices and offerings doesn’t exist, or it’s not a Christian church.

I won’t explain the subject of sacrifices and offerings to you, you already know about it, you simply NEED to believe in it, to delve deeper.

What did you understand before abandoning what you believed to be true?
Berean replied to the topic Daily Devotions in the forum Inspirational writings & sermons 2 months, 3 weeks ago
If you refuse to try to understand the two offerings (to Cain and Abel), one of which was accepted by God, that’s truly sad.
Yes, God abhors offerings made without enlightened faith and a sincere heart. This doesn’t prove that He doesn’t approve of those made according to God’s will.
Berean replied to the topic Daily Devotions in the forum Inspirational writings & sermons 2 months, 3 weeks ago
I’m not convinced you really want to know anything about sacrifices and offerings.
If you did, I think you would have done it a long time ago.
Berean replied to the topic Daily Devotions in the forum Inspirational writings & sermons 2 months, 3 weeks ago
I think it’s you who doesn’t understand things, and you’ve been on the wrong track since the very first chapters of Genesis.
“Stand at the crossroads and look, and inquire of the ancient paths, where is the good way; and walk in it, and you will find rest for your souls” (Jeremiah 6:16).
