Now you're of the opinion that I'm judging? I'm not judging it because I see it as 100% God's Word and nothing less. If you don't see it as 100% God's Word, then do you truly see it as Truth?

Yet some don't feel the need to shout, seeing they are humble and silent before God. They ask and seek His counsel, and giving glory to His Name without feeling the need to shout it out in front of others but instead as a personal motivation.March 10, 2008 at 6:34 pm#83563acertainchapParticipantQuote (Nick Hassan @ Mar. 11 2008,06:16)
“I think it fails in that the Bible is not self authenticating, or clear to a rational reader. The problem with traditions of the church is they are no better. If the Bible was clear there would not be so much debate, just look at this site as an example. This is not to say it is without value, that truths may not be found therein, but they don't seem to be God's written word but rather men's interpretations thereof.”*Cato's explanation is solely opinionated just as mine is. There is much debate about Scripture, mainly because people refute the truth, the other half is interpretation.

Only in the Spirit of Christ can we know the teachings of God.
Nick, I was quite certain in another thread you mentioned more people being saved outside of the way of Christ, but here you are saying something entirely different. It appears to me that you are contradicting yourself.March 10, 2008 at 6:10 pm#83557acertainchapParticipantMarch 7, 2008 at 5:35 pm#101719acertainchapParticipantWell, there isn't that much to tell, save that I am 19 years old, have a loving family that cares about my future like so many other families do for their children. I like to snowmobile, bike, swim, and am just an average 19 old man from New York. After I became born again, my Life changed significantly, but I found myself not wanting so much of what the World has to offer and more on what God wills for my Life and concentration more on the spiritual aspect of things. In all honesty, concentration on the spiritual and not so much the materialistic has made me somewhat of an outcast. Most importantly, I like to stay in God's word and study scripture.

There are things about Heaven that God has prepared for those that love Him and keep His Commandments that we cannot even begin to fathom in these fleshly bodies of ours. Look forward to the World of tommorrow with confidence and assurance of your Salvation knowing that all things will be made new.Chap

Jesus couldn't will it by himself. Therefore, the Father and the Son are separate.

Hi rk,
It remains my opinion that more will be saved outside of the way of Christ than through it.
I wouldn't rely on that inference. It is essential to be Christ-like.February 25, 2008 at 8:50 pm#263440acertainchapParticipantQuote (seek and you will find @ Feb. 26 2008,07:15) Quote (acertainchap @ Feb. 26 2008,06:53) I'm not dismissing what Ronald Weinland has to say, but you should take what he says with a grain of salt just as you would anybody that claims to know when the Tribulation is going to begin. No one knows for sure if the Tribulation is going to start in April or not. We'll have to wait and see. Will there be a rapture?:This is another question we should ask ourselves.
Chap I love your new Avator.Peace and Love Mrs.
Time will tell, if Mr. Weinland is right or wrong. He claims to be one of the Witnesses and that to me is rather hard to grasp. But again God can use anybody and time will tell. There have been others with claims simliar.
Yes, I've gone through many avatars hehehe…>>.
Thanks, it is a cool avatar, though.February 25, 2008 at 7:53 pm#263434acertainchapParticipantI'm not dismissing what Ronald Weinland has to say, but you should take what he says with a grain of salt just as you would anybody that claims to know when the Tribulation is going to begin. February 25, 2008 at 7:43 pm#105593acertainchapParticipantLot's wife was almost saved but not quite. Almost is not good enough.
Luke 17:28-32
28 Likewise also as it was in the days of Lot; they did eat, they drank, they bought, they sold, they planted, they builded; 29 But the same day that Lot went out of Sodom it rained fire and brimstone from heaven, and destroyed them all. 30 Even thus shall it be in the day when the Son of man is revealed. 31 In that day, he which shall be upon the housetop, and his stuff in the house, let him not come down to take it away: and he that is in the field, let him likewise not return back. 32 Remember Lot's wife.
*Don't look back.
Genesis 19:23-26
23 By the time Lot reached Zoar, the sun had risen over the land. 24 Then the LORD rained down burning sulfur on Sodom and Gomorrah—from the LORD out of the heavens. 25 Thus he overthrew those cities and the entire plain, including all those living in the cities—and also the vegetation in the land. 26 But Lot's wife looked back, and she became a pillar of salt.

In Stu's defense I'd like to ask you if you'd admit it if you wanted something someone else had and would go as far as to ask if YOU would admit that. Sense you made this statement the burden lies with you.February 17, 2008 at 3:08 am#81920acertainchapParticipantEzekiel 36:33-38
33 ‘Thus says the Lord GOD: “On the day that I cleanse you from all your iniquities, I will also enable you to dwell in the cities, and the ruins shall be rebuilt. 34 The desolate land shall be tilled instead of lying desolate in the sight of all who pass by. 35 So they will say, ‘This land that was desolate has become like the garden of Eden; and the wasted, desolate, and ruined cities are now fortified and inhabited.’ 36 Then the nations which are left all around you shall know that I, the LORD, have rebuilt the ruined places and planted what was desolate. I, the LORD, have spoken it, and I will do it.”
37 ‘Thus says the Lord GOD: “I will also let the house of Israel inquire of Me to do this for them: I will increase their men like a flock. 38 Like a flock offered as holy sacrifices, like the flock at Jerusalem on its feast days, so shall the ruined cities be filled with flocks of men. Then they shall know that I am the LORD.”February 17, 2008 at 2:38 am#81914acertainchapParticipantIf there is no God, ultimately, philosophically, how can one talk about reality? If there is no God (there is a God) one cannot rationally believe that there is such a thing as truth, let alone decide what it is.
