GOD OF OUR FATHERS

1 God of our Fathers mighty hand, leads forth in beauty all the starry band.
On shining worlds in splendor through the skies,
Our grateful songs before Thy Throne arise.

2 Thy love divine hath led us in the past, in this free land by Thee our lot is cast.
He Thou our Ruler, Guardian, Guide and Stay,
Thy Word our law, Thy paths our chosen way.

3 From wars alarms, from deadly pestilence,
Be Thy strong arm our ever sure defends.
Thy true religion in our hearts increase,
Thy bounteous goodness nourish us in peace.

Mandy The Bible tells us much more then what Jesus was. Jesus had the glory with the Father before the world was. John 1:1-14 In the beginning was the Word and the Word was God and the Word was with God in the beginning. He the Word created all, here it says that He made all. And the Word became flesh.
Col. 1:15-18 here too talks about the creation of the world. He created all and all was in Him and for Him. In verse 18 shows us that He was the first to be resurrected from the dead, that in all He will have preeminence.
Rev. 3:14 too shows us that He was the first to be created.
So He had all the glory with the Father, John 17:5 which He gave up in order to save mankind.
He alone could have done so. All have sinned and have fallen short of the glory of God.He send His only begotten Son that who ever believed in Him should not perish, should not perish but have everlasting life. That is His promise to us. Praise and Honor to our God. I await our Savior with open arms and heart.

It is because Jesus was the Word first before He came to earth and became flesh. He is and was the Son of God from the very beginning before the world was. He knew what was at stake, and He would not Sin. If He would be a mere Human IMO He would have sinned like all have sinned and are short of the glory of God.
Col. 1:15-18 shows us that He was the firstborn of all creation and that through Him and for Him all was created. He died and was resurrected from the dead, so that in all He will have preeminence.
Rev. 3:14 too shows that He was the firstborn of all creation. So He was the Holy One before and emptied Himself to die for us, then was resurrected from the dead and took back the glory He had from the beginning. John 17:5.

Jesus did so much for us, I wonder how many of us really realize that? I also think that debating scriptures is good in a way, but we also have to be careful not to offend another. In Love we should show our Brother is we think that they are going wrong. IMO

Gen and Nick Both of you have been at each other throat, which IMO is not Christian like at all. Satan is having a field day and you need to stop doing this. Show each other with love if they are wrong. Pray for each other, that God will help all to understand His Word. We all have to learn yet, not all are perfect. You think that could be possible?

Gen Then scriptures are wrong? I do not think so. John 1:1 In the beginning there was the the Word and the Word was God and was with God.
Col. 1:15 He ( Jesus) is the firstborn over all creation.Read the rest of 1:15-18
Rev. 3:14….These things say the Amen, the Faithful and True Witness, THE BEGINNING OF THE CREATION OF GOD.
John 17:5 ” And now Father glorify Me together with Yourself with the glory which I had with you before the wold was.

Jesus was there before the world was, unless you want to ingore this scripture and call Jesus a liar.

The Father send His Son into the world, He send Him from where?
He came from Heaven to die for us, gave up his glory and became a man like us to do so.
Died for us was resurrected and went back were He came from.

    It's circuit to it's ends,
    And there is nothing from his heat,
    No nothing is hidden thereof.

3  The law of God is a perfect law,
    For it converts the soul,
    Sure are the saying of our God.
    They made the simple wise,
    Statutes of God are right and just,
    And do rejoice the heart,
    The Lord's commandment are pure and clear.
    And light to the mind they impart.

Here I am again asking for Prayers for all on this website. I am getting so tired of all trying to be right all the time. Be a little bit more considered of others, even if you don't agree with them. Please remember that we all grow in different stages.

Just was reading Marty's Song again,

How so much love is in all these verses. God is so good that He send His only begotten Son to die for us, so we can have eternal life. Thank you God and you Marty.

Satan sure is busy, because He knows he only has a short time left before Christ will come and chain him up for a thousand year. Then he will be loosed again to test people and look what happens, millions will be deceived again and will follow him right into the lake of fire.Look at these scriptures again, he is a real being, was a beautiful angel at one time.
Here is the warning Gen and Jodi and all that do not believe in a Satan, he is a cunning being, a liar from the beginning of the world as we see it. He was a serpent in paradise and deceived Eve. No,No?
Oh, well the time will come when the earth will cover the truth like water covers the sea.
Rev. 2:9, 16, 2:18, 3:9 12:9 20:2 Mark 1:13 And He Jesus was there in the wilderness forty days and was tempted by Satan, and was with the wild beast, and then the angels ministered to Him.

In Luke He (Satan) is testing Jesus, He said:
Luke 2:1 Then Jesus filled with Holy Spirit, returned from the Jordan and was led by the Spirit into the wilderness.
Verse 2 being tempted by for forty days and night He has ate nothing or drank anything, the devil said
Verse 3” If you are the Son of God command these stones to turn into bread to eat.” He was going to give Him everything, but Jesus said:” GET BEHIND ME SATAN!  FOR IT IS WRITTEN “ YOU SHALL WORSHIP THE LORD YOUR GOD AND HIM ONLY SHALL YOU SERVE.”

Ask yourself if this could be possible if all this is in a mind of a person, test yourself, that is not what it says. Satan is a real being, that fell from heaven when He sinned against God and wanted to be like God and take over His Throne.
