Oh thanks for the testimony Marty for we are saved by the word of God and the word of our testimony. And take note to one of the verses you quote that he that believes has the witness in himself which as I quoted is that evidence of things not seen.

AndrewAD replied to the topic Did the Holocaust Really Happen? in the forum Truth or Tradition 8 years, 6 months ago
I find it interesting how he goes from “the holocaust” into theology quoting the bible and accusing Jews as being liars. He makes some good points about the numbers of those killed but my understanding had always been that six million Jews were killed in WWII not necessarily that they were all killed and cremated in the concentration camps.

Where is God exactly? He lives in the heart/mind of the believer. For now faith is the substance of things hoped for,the evidence of things not seen.

Gene,
Have you read Bart Ehrman’s Orthodox Corruption of Scripture or Misquoting Jesus? Ehrman certainly doesn’t support your views either.

Cowboy theology-I’m right and you’re wrong because my pork and beans taste better than yours!

Hoghead and Kerwin,
I know the doctrine of original sin/total depravity may be off topic here on this thread as was pointed out but I want to chime in on it and it is imo also an unnecessary stumbling block as the trinity is to some also. First off as a former long time Calvinist what I was taught about original sin or total depravity is not that…[Read more]
AndrewAD replied to the topic Why are some people homosexual? in the forum Scriptural Teachings 8 years, 6 months ago
Even people born with both sexes will usually grow up to appear as either a man or woman but if they are attracted to the same sex as they appear does that then make them homosexual? To the outside world who doesn’t know of their natural condition it would appear so.
And a person who has no physical sex at all with anyone yet is always sexually…[Read more]

Also I notice Pastor Anderson criticizes the Jews, and seemingly uses the rabbi’s he interviews, for not taking the bible literally. But I do know some Jews take it much more literally than others even as various Christians. And as far as how literal it varies on certain points and how one may define certain doctrines. I guarantee Pastor Anderson…[Read more]

I watched the whole video and as far as biblical Christianity is concerned I agree with it. As a new believer I was much confused between the bible and what I was being taught by what I came to later learn was dispensationalism and Christian Zionism.I don’t see the modern state as a fulfillment of bible prophecy but politically speaking I support…[Read more]

I commented on the other post not realizing this one.
Some of what the modern day Judaizers have to say is interesting but many of them tie and twist the NT into more unnecessary knots.
AndrewAD replied to the topic Jesus vs Yeshua in the forum Truth or Tradition 8 years, 6 months ago
It’s certainly true that the NT is all Greek and Christianity is much more of Greek origin than Hebrew. I’ve met people who like to think it’s a sin to call God Jehovah or call Christ Jesus which is entirely silly to me. God knows all languages and I don’t believe he’s so trivial about semantics.
I do agree or like some of what Pastor Anderson…[Read more]

Dear Hoghead,
Thank you for bringing up that point on whether God changes as a point of Arianism.I was merely thinking about Christ being a lesser being than the Father but even many trinitarians will claim that and there are so many ways of seeing these things;so many theological perspectives. But as to God not changing so Christ cannot be…[Read more]

Condemnations in Christ is just the historical norm, that’s for sure, but hey I’m used to it now.

Thanks for no condemnations in Christ.

Kerwin,
AndrewAD,
The word fundy is derogatory and often used by the insincere and unbelievers. Avoid using words that serve no good purpose.
I cannot see where a person that walks according to the Spirit would use it though some might think the words such a person would use are worse. For example brood of vipers, i.e. those that lie to the…[Read more]
