Hi ED,
Then you will explain what you have believed about angels becoming men to us all?
Unless they are just speculative opinions that a true teacher of scripture would not promote.May 11, 2012 at 9:30 pm#297551Ed JParticipantQuote (Nick Hassan @ May 12 2012,08:25) Hi ED,

Quote born again ,believers say that they receive the holy spirit after there baptism ,I have ask many how do they know and what is it ,?none could answer me. When one is born again, God becomes the Father of our spirit. We are a new creation in Christ Jesus. We know that we have received the Holy Spirit because we are at peace with God and with ourselves. Our guilt is gone because our sins have been forgiven and washed away by the blood of the Lord. And we know, because we have a changed life. We have genuine love for God and for our fellow man. Some speak in tongues when they receive the Holy Ghost.
But this is what the scriptures state:
Quote Romans 8:8So then they that are in the flesh cannot please God. 9But ye are not in the flesh, but in the Spirit, if so be that the Spirit of God dwell in you. Now if any man have not the Spirit of Christ, he is none of his.
10And if Christ be in you, the body is dead because of sin; but the Spirit is life because of righteousness.
11But if the Spirit of him that raised up Jesus from the dead dwell in you, he that raised up Christ from the dead shall also quicken your mortal bodies by his Spirit that dwelleth in you.
12Therefore, brethren, we are debtors, not to the flesh, to live after the flesh.
13For if ye live after the flesh, ye shall die: but if ye through the Spirit do mortify the deeds of the body, ye shall live.
14For as many as are led by the Spirit of God, they are the sons of God.
15For ye have not received the spirit of bondage again to fear; but ye have received the Spirit of adoption, whereby we cry, Abba, Father.
16The Spirit itself beareth witness with our spirit, that we are the children of God:
Quote 1 John 3:9Whosoever is born of God doth not commit sin; for his seed remaineth in him: and he cannot sin, because he is born of God. 10In this the children of God are manifest, and the children of the devil: whosoever doeth not righteousness is not of God, neither he that loveth not his brother.
Quote 1 John 2:3And hereby we do know that we know him, if we keep his commandments. 4He that saith, I know him, and keepeth not his commandments, is a liar, and the truth is not in him.
5But whoso keepeth his word, in him verily is the love of God perfected: hereby know we that we are in him.
6He that saith he abideth in him ought himself also so to walk, even as he walked.
Quote John 4:20If a man say, I love God, and hateth his brother, he is a liar: for he that loveth not his brother whom he hath seen, how can he love God whom he hath not seen? 21And this commandment have we from him, That he who loveth God love his brother also.
Quote 1 John 5:9If we receive the witness of men, the witness of God is greater: for this is the witness of God which he hath testified of his Son. 10He that believeth on the Son of God hath the witness in himself: he that believeth not God hath made him a liar; because he believeth not the record that God gave of his Son.
11And this is the record, that God hath given to us eternal life, and this life is in his Son.
12He that hath the Son hath life; and he that hath not the Son of God hath not life.

Hi TFaith comes by hearing and hearing by the Word of God:
Quote Rom 10:8 But what saith it? The word is nigh thee, [even] in thy mouth, and in thy heart: that is, the word of faith, which we preach; Rom 10:9 That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved.
Rom 10:10 For with the heart man believeth unto righteousness; and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation.
Rom 10:11 For the scripture saith, Whosoever believeth on him shall not be ashamed.
Rom 10:12 For there is no difference between the Jew and the Greek: for the same Lord over all is rich unto all that call upon him.
Rom 10:13 For whosoever shall call upon the name of the Lord shall be saved.
Rom 10:14 ¶ How then shall they call on him in whom they have not believed? and how shall they believe in him of whom they have not heard? and how shall they hear without a preacher?
Rom 10:15 And how shall they preach, except they be sent? as it is written, How beautiful are the feet of them that preach the gospel of peace, and bring glad tidings of good things!
Rom 10:16 But they have not all obeyed the gospel. For Esaias saith, Lord, who hath believed our report?
Rom 10:17 So then faith [cometh] by hearing, and hearing by the word of God.

Hi Nick,So we can have a cohesive dialog, it therefore becomes necessary
to know what “exactly” we are discussing. Defining the terms…Reincarnation: The belief that the soul, upon death of the body,
comes back to earth in another body or form.Preexistence: To exist in spirit form before becoming incarnated as a human.
I therefore need to know what you are calling 'an Evil Angel',
so I can be clear as to what YOU ARE TALKING ABOUT.God bless

MartyRo 10:7 “or ‘Who will descend into the deep?’’” (that is, to bring Christ up from the dead).
Ro 10:8 But what does it say? “The word is near you; it is in your mouth and in your heart,” that is, the word of faith we are proclaiming:
Ro 10:9 That if you confess with your mouth, “Jesus is Lord,” and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved.
Ro 10:10 For it is with your heart that you believe and are justified, and it is with your mouth that you confess and are saved.
Ro 10:11 As the Scripture says, “Anyone who trusts in him will never be put to shame.”
Ro 10:12 For there is no difference between Jew and Gentile—the same Lord is Lord of all and richly blesses all who call on him,
Ro 10:13 for, “Everyone who calls on the name of the Lord will be saved.”
Ro 10:14 How, then, can they call on the one they have not believed in? And how can they believe in the one of whom they have not heard? And how can they hear without someone preaching to them?
Ro 10:15 And how can they preach unless they are sent? As it is written, “How beautiful are the feet of those who bring good news!”
Ro 10:16 But not all the Israelites accepted the good news. For Isaiah says, “Lord, who has believed our message?”
Ro 10:17 Consequently, faith comes from hearing the message, and the message is heard through the word of Christ.
Ro 10:18 But I ask: Did they not hear? Of course they did:
“Their voice has gone out into all the earth,
their words to the ends of the world.”it is not baptism but the responding action to the words of God and his son that we are saved and so receive there spirit of truth,
if you believe that baptism is compulsory for a Christian then we are also have to be circumcised in the flesh ,

Hi Nick, John's baptism was water baptism, Jesus baptism was spirit baptism (of the “HolySpirit”). (see John 3:6)John 3:6 That which is born of the flesh is flesh; and that which is born of the Spirit is spirit.
“Unto what then were ye baptized? And they said, Unto John's baptism.
