Amen TK, I get that! If you truly love someone, you love them faults and all. You love their bad points just as much as their good points because its who they are! They can grump, complain, whatever

But there are things that hurt and that's different.

    Hi Karmarie,
I rewrote the song “Halleluja” and entitled it “Song of David”. It's in Irenes song thingie. It's central message is about the healing power of God's love after being hurt. If you play guitar or know someone who does I also put the chords in where they are supposed to be played.

I would rather not place myself in God’s shoes.   I can tell you that the man whom rejects the message God is a man of hate, though that hate may be merely be the disregard of the ill effects of his actions on himself and others.  On the other hand the one who loves God looks out for the other before his own self but also loves themselves.  The two do not mix well; which is why the man of hate will persecute the man of love.  God’s love is that in his mercy he suffers the actions of the man of hate in the hope that the man will change his ways and seek to love as God loves.

If a man of hate realizes the evil he has done and has his spirit broken so that he is willing to submit himself to God and wishes to change then his heart and mind are open to God.   If that man is truly hungry and thirsty for loving as God loves then he will obey all of Jesus’ teachings and persevere in doing so.    Such a man is a prodigal child of God and will not be satisfied with anything short of loving as God loves.

One who is satisfied with anything short of the goal of being righteous as God is righteous is satisfied with their own righteousness and even a prostitute with a broken spirit and a contrite heart is more righteous than they.

I have no reached the goal because I am an unfinished master piece being worked on by God.  I am not condemning God or the pace he works and so I am not condemning myself for being unfinished.

God’s love is displayed in me in that he is patiently working on me to eradicate my unrighteousness even though I have sinned and fallen short of his glory.  God does as he promises and all things are possible through him.

Thats a good way to see thing's. I often feel I will never be good enough and never reach what I should be. But I suppose the more we ask God's help, the better.

Just as God to show your faults. Bingo!!!!! He will. That is one way to learn what you do wrong. I have found that I had hidden faults, that stock way back in my subconscious mind. By asking God, they surfaced.

Thanks Wispring and Irene…Good music you wrote wispring! I think people here tend to go to the debates and discussions, and forget theres a song section. My mother writes music, and records it, and plays it (Guitar, keyboard etc). Shes really musical. We're also related to a famous singer. I won't say who though.

    God bless.

    Hi Karmarie,
Maybe your mother or your relative will play my song and make it well-known. Just give credit to Leonard Cohen for the original and myself for the revision. I would have to get it copyrighted and then get a song writers's contract. Or they could just take it since I don't have the money for the copyright now. Anyway, glad you liked it.

    Hi Wispring.

My Mother plays music by ear. But i'll show her. She doesn't sell her music, she gives it away or sings it/plays it to people. Maybe I could put some of hers in the song section. I'll ask her.

    God bless.

Kerwin: I wish you to know me better. I feel you think that I am evil to a point or at least I condone evil works. I would like you to know that this is not the truth. I don't do the things I say are not sin to do. I am not attempting to allow myself to do or not do anything whatsoever. It is not for me that I speak out about freedom from sin. If I were judged by the law of Moses I would I would do quite well.

It is for those that had terribly abusive mothers and/or fathers that I defend, Honor your mother and father as a truth from God to Jesus to honor his God, the father & mother. The law prophesied of Jesus. Thou, Jesus, shalt not make unto thee any graven image. Thou, Jesus, shalt not take (accept, or teach) the name of the lord thy God in vain. The law was written unto Jesus who fulfilled its requirments to completion. If the law was unto all mankind how could Jesus have fulfilled it and if Jesus completed the law it is no longer.

I go off track so easily. I just want you to know I don't do or practice the things I say are not sin. I only say, that to each individual, their idea of a sin is their sin. What they believe to be sin is a sin to them. What you list as sin for your is truly sin for you. Other people from other parts of the world have

knowledge and beliefs garnered from very different areas than America. I don't wish to declare sin and wrong doing and wrong acting as sinful separation from God if they do certain things. I don't believe that is our call to make. So I declare freedom to all. Its their choice. Sink or swim. If they believe they do it for themselves or don't do it for themselves, then they lack faith which is the only way to connect to God, by believing. IMO, TK

    Tim Kraft,

What you write does cause me to feel concern for you.  What you seem to say is that you have no sinful nature and so are not tempted by sin.  That is a dangerous belief as the purpose of the gospel is to obtain a true righteousness and holiness like God’s through faith in Jesus the Anointed.    In addition if we sin we should not lie but rather confess our sins knowing that he will cleanse us of the impurities of spirit that cause us to give into our sinful desires.  These things are addressed by John in 1 John 1:8 to 1 John 2:2.

    1 John 1 & 2

5 This is the message we have heard from him and declare to you: God is light; in him there is no darkness at all. 6 If we claim to have fellowship with him and yet walk in the darkness, we lie and do not live out the truth. 7 But if we walk in the light, as he is in the light, we have fellowship with one another, and the blood of Jesus, his Son, purifies us from all sin.
8 If we claim to be without sin, we deceive ourselves and the truth is not in us. 9 If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just and will forgive us our sins and purify us from all unrighteousness. 10 If we claim we have not sinned, we make him out to be a liar and his word is not in us.
1 My dear children, I write this to you so that you will not sin. But if anybody does sin, we have an advocate with the Father—Jesus Christ, the Righteous One. 2 He is the atoning sacrifice for our sins, and not only for ours but also for the sins of the whole world.

If we stop seeking to righteous as God is righteous then we like the Pharisee in the Parable of the Tax Collector, Luke 18:9-14, and like the Pharisee become satisfied with our own righteousness.  Instead we must have and attitude like the tax collector even when we reach the goal of not sinning as we should always regret the sins we have done, less we fall, as that godly sorrow, 2 Corinthians 7:8-11, will lead us to resist the devil at every turn.

    Luke 18

9 To some who were confident of their own righteousness and looked down on everyone else, Jesus told this parable: 10 “Two men went up to the temple to pray, one a Pharisee and the other a tax collector. 11 The Pharisee stood by himself and prayed: ‘God, I thank you that I am not like other people—robbers, evildoers, adulterers—or even like this tax collector. 12 I fast twice a week and give a tenth of all I get.’
13 “But the tax collector stood at a distance. He would not even look up to heaven, but beat his breast and said, ‘God, have mercy on me, a sinner.’
14 “I tell you that this man, rather than the other, went home justified before God. For all those who exalt themselves will be humbled, and those who humble themselves will be exalted.”

    2 Corinthians 7

8 Even if I caused you sorrow by my letter, I do not regret it. Though I did regret it—I see that my letter hurt you, but only for a little while— 9 yet now I am happy, not because you were made sorry, but because your sorrow led you to repentance. For you became sorrowful as God intended and so were not harmed in any way by us. 10 Godly sorrow brings repentance that leads to salvation and leaves no regret, but worldly sorrow brings death. 11 See what this godly sorrow has produced in you: what earnestness, what eagerness to clear yourselves, what indignation, what alarm, what longing, what concern, what readiness to see justice done. At every point you have proved yourselves to be innocent in this matter.

It is true we have a clear we have a clear conscious before God because we believe that Jesus told the truth when he promised those that hungered and thirsted to be righteous as God is would obtain that goal.   If that promise is for us then we will strive to reach the goal of not sinning because we deeply yearn to be so and God will give us the power and guidance to do so.

Sin is tempting mankind not to believe they have been made the righteousness of God by faith in Jesus words from God. Sin is a wrong belief. A wrong thinking. Believing something you do or don't do is sin that separates you from God is a lie!
My friend, are you aware of the possible blasphemy of saying that a son of God has a sinful nature? I believe nature itself is offended, how much more the sons of God. Sons of life. Sons of peace. Sons of joy. Sons of love. Sons of goodness. I do not believe I am a son of sin!! A son of sin with a sin nature is a son of darkness, evil, death, pain and suffering etc.! What you choose to believe you are, YOU ARE!

We were in sin(believing we were separated from God). Jesus the truth of God came and gave us the truth which saved us from sin. If we believe the truth he has given us. If we don't believe the truth from Jesus we remain in sin/separation from God. So by faith in Jesus, we are free from sin, yet through unbelief we remain in sin. Works or efforts of do's or don'ts of certain things have nothing to do with sin! We were in sin(wrong thinking) but Jesus saved us from that belief. Now we must believe what God has done for us, through Jesus, by faith! We must turn from(repent) the sinful thinking. Once you have accepted, believed and received forgiveness of sin through the atonement of Christ for it, you are cleansed and made whole by Gods words through Jesus. All imperfection is washed away
by the washing of the water of the words of God.(Eph.5:26) Spiritual water. The water you drink once, forever!

“nature”: Websters Dictionary….the essential quality of a thing: essence: the inherent tendencies of a person: The primative state of humans:

What someone else does (as far as sin) does not affect you or me. The only way Adam could have passed “sin” to others is because sin was wrong thinking. Just because Adam accepted good & evil as a truth for his life did not change the nature or essence of other human beings. Yet wrong thinking or teaching or untruth that Adam believed, that separates man from God in his mind, most certainly could be passed down the line. Each person has the choice to believe good only or good and evil.

Believing your desires are sinful is a gross error. The misery must be intense to believe that your desires are sinful. I thought God would give us the desires of our hearts. God has no sin to give. If one can't accept the words of Jesus that set them free from these rules and laws of sin and death with evil desires and an impure sinful nature then one will die continually, in life, in there own unbelief. You apparantly come to God by faith, believing but fall away from God due to your sin thinking and sinful desires, from a sin nature.
GOD CANNOT DWELL IN A TEMPLE FULL OF SIN NATURE!!! IMO, TK

    Tim,
Dude im sorry but thats not true at all.
You have a carnal nature, and your body serves sin, while the renewing of the mind should serve Christ, (IF HE KNOWS YOU, not that you accept him)

    Romans 7

You sin, and have done nothing but sin all your life, it has nothing to do with belief but your human nature.

I dont have a bible on hand right now because im at work.

But if someone can search in James I think that says that Sin starts as a thought, a desire that manifests in the flesh, and Jesus also said that its what comes out of a Man is what defiles him, because it comes from his heart.

Again, in Genesis 18 i think God says that Mens dark imaginations start from thier youth.

And finally Jesus came to circumsize our hearts, which Pauls talks about frequently.

SF: God bless you. I believe if you will read Pauls disertations closely you will find that he is comparing physical thinking with spiritual understanding. Also, what we were before we were cleansed by Jesus as compared with after.

Are you a son of God? I will answer for you, YES! You are a son of God, which we all are, whether we accept and believe or not. The nature of mankind is of God. You have the breath/life of God in you from birth. If you believe over that truth that you are a sinner then you will feel and act as a sinner.

The only way you can change your true human nature is by believing a lie that you are not a son of God. You still are a son of God but the darkness/lie covers the truth so you feel as though you are not. If one chooses to believe he is not a child of God then he has bought the lie and is lost in darkness, outside of God, where there is weeping and gnashing of teeth. Hell you might say.

The renewing of your mind is cleansing it from the very beliefs you quoted. Renewing your mind to the fact that God gave his words/spirit to Jesus to give to us that transform us into perfect, cleansed, holy, sinless sons of God. BY FAITH OR BY BELIEVING only. Not by anything we do or don't do. God did it for us. What God hath cleansed let no man call unclean!

God cleansed you, don't classify yourself as a sinner, or unclean or carnal. If you believe, partake, consume or eat spirit, you become spirit. Spirit/Gods words become bone of your bone. Flesh of your flesh!

STOP SINNING! Stop thinking you are a sinner. Receive your cleansing from God. You have been saved by faith & grace NOT BY WORKS OR DO THIS OR DON'T DO THAT, lest any man should boast of his good or bad performance!

Believe what God has done for you, through Jesus and you become what God says you are. Perfect, clean and Holy!

The way you believe per your post or what I have just written is the truth of God. If you follow Gods way of perfection by faith it creates feelings of freedom, love, peace with God, joy and all the fruit of the spirit of God.

If you continue in sin by believing in sin within you will feel down, depressed, sad, lowly, inadequate, and as a failure with God. Its you choice. But what God has cleansed, I personally will not call unclean/sinful/carnal!! IMO, TK

    Tim,

You asked me am i a Son of God? You answered for me.

How are you so sure? And if im not, than have you just been deceived? and if you were deceived than do you really have discernment from God?

Jesus also said that some people are like their Father (who is Satan) whom was a liar since the beginning.
(im at work so i dont got time to provide biblical scripture)

The nature of Mankind is sinful, Paul clearly says that NONE ARE RIGHTEOUS. That image, we once had in Adam broke, as Paul also said that we all were in death Through Adam, but all redeems by one man also, who is in Jesus.

You are a sinner, just because we have no love or devotion to God. Romans 1 states that we have changed the uncorruptable glory to God into images, and towards animals, even ourselves.
That we worship our vain imaginations, this is Sin.

James also talks about how Sin is conceived from the very heart.
God cliams that our hearts are evil.

Only know Jesus can your mind be renewed. When has God cleansed me? how are you so sure?

none of the things you stated are biblical. to STOP thinking, is work, which contradicts your belief.
To believe, is work as well, which also contradicts you.

beacuse im doing something, which causes me to be free?

Faith, will cause you to do works, work donot produce faith.

Actually to continue in Sin feels good, and satisfies its own ways.
The fake cleansing is unclean/sinful/and carnal.

SF: Bless you. I feel sad for you as I read the powerful condemnations you confess for yourself. I don't feel you have the right to point the finger and condemn me. We both should know who points the finger and condemns the bretherin. But its only lies!!

Are we of Christ/light/peace/love/freedom/joy/sinless perfection/cleansed/ordained and made whole through the words of God, given freely to man, through Jesus or are we still lost in the sin and darkness of the old testament? Jesus came to darkness to show us the light. Do we see it? If we continue to believe in sin/error/evil/death/and destruction we have rejected the light of Christ's entire salvation.

Light is awareness! The truth will set you free from sin!

Do you reject the fact that you were born a child of God? Do you have the breath of life in you? The breath of life is God! If you didn't have the breath of life in you, you would be dead! Aren't we all God's children? The lives of those around you cannot change your true nature. You are an individual. Adams choice brought death to him. AND ANYONE WHO BELIEVED THE SAME EVIL LIE! Thats how sin/death was passed down through mankind. It in no way changed our human nature. It destroyed our minds! Created wrong thinking or sin.

The reason I anwered for you about being a Son of God is that is the human birthright!!! Liars and deceivers have tricked any or all that believe they are any less than sons of God.
Do you call “satan” your father? I don't believe you do! That would be saying, trickery, lies and deception, against the truth, is my father.

When you read Paul or any NT writings please look at comparison scriptures. We were unrighteous until Jesus made us righteous by faith. We were sinners but Jesus saved us and made us whole by faith. We were in darkness but have been translated into the light of God through faith in Jesus.

You said God claims that our hearts are evil. Doesn't God dwell in your heart? If evil is in our hearts then Jesus failed miserably at the salvation plan he gave his life for! He did not fail, he finished the purifing works of a total salvation and gave it to mankind if they would accept it as their truth.

John 15:3 and all of the fifteenth chapter is what the words and love of Jesus/God have for us if we let them abide in us. If they are somewhere else and need to come from somewhere then they are not here for you. Yet, they are here, now, in you, if you believe. IMO, TK

I didn't call myself good. Jesus said we all are, if we let his words rule who we really are, I just believed him.

I feel sad for you too bro, because you fail to see what we are in reality.  You havent been exposed nor broken down yet, which Jesus calls for when we pick up our cross and follow.
    Actually our lords says:
    John 7:24
Judge not according to the appearance, but judge righteous judgment.

based on what is it lies??? and who is my bretheriin?

Are we of Christ/light/peace/love/freedom/joy/sinless perfection/cleansed/ordained and made whole through the words of God, given freely to man, through Jesus or are we still lost in the sin and darkness of the old testament? Jesus came to darkness to show us the light. Do we see it? If we continue to believe in sin/error/evil/death/and destruction we have rejected the light of Christ's entire salvation.

That depends if you KNOW Jesus.  Jesus said himself in John 17 that eternal life is by KNOWING GOD and whom HE sent.
And Mathew 7 claims that he must KNOW YOU as well or cast you out because he doesnt know you even though they claim to do works in his name yet are only workers of inquity.
Sin is not a belief but a condition.  Dirty water is not a belief but a realisitic status of the water.
IF Christ has demonstrated himself in your life than its impossible for you to reject him.  Paul on his way to kill more people met Jesus and was blinded by his light, and was changed forever.  NOT BECAUSE he chose NOT TO BELIEVE, but because meeting GOD is like meeting your own death of whom you were before.
Its like getting runned over by a truck, and your body will be forever changed.  God is bigger than a truck, and meeting him will forever change you.

Light is awareness! The truth will set you free from sin!

Thats not in the bible.  No where does it say that Light is awareness.  But the bible does claim that Jesus is that LIGHT.  The Truth shall set you free INDEED.
IT doesnt say it shall deliver you from sin, because only CHRIST can do that.
Why are you stating unbiblical points?

    Quote
Do you reject the fact that you were born a child of God? Do you have the breath of life in you? The breath of life is God! If you didn't have the breath of life in you, you would be dead! Aren't we all God's children? The lives of those around you cannot change your true nature. You are an individual. Adams choice brought death to him. AND ANYONE WHO BELIEVED THE SAME EVIL LIE! Thats how sin/death was passed down through mankind. It in no way changed our human nature. It destroyed our minds! Created wrong thinking or sin.

Animals have breath bro, doesnt mean they are children of God.  Jesus said we were DEAD in our sins.  We are the walking dead, without LIFE.  We are dead without christ, so how can you assume that everyone knows christ.
No, the bible states that death reigned from Adam til Moses and so on.
Thats not what God stated, he himself said that we should surely die, but your preaching what the serpent said to Eve “that you will surely not die and your eyes will be opened and will be as gods”.
Your almost saying the same thing.

Human birthright?  God is soverighn, it has nothing to do with birthrights but about the Glory of God who will draw all men to himself.   Many call satan thier father without ever knowing it, because they are liars, its as simple as that.   Jesus himself said this.  So why do you deny it?

    Quote
When you read Paul or any NT writings please look at comparison scriptures. We were unrighteous until Jesus made us righteous by faith. We were sinners but Jesus saved us and made us whole by faith. We were in darkness but have been translated into the light of God through faith in Jesus.

And the bible says that only by the holy spirit can we call him Lord.  You understand that this grace is given not that we choose to have it.

    Quote
You said God claims that our hearts are evil. Doesn't God dwell in your heart? If evil is in our hearts then Jesus failed miserably at the salvation plan he gave his life for! He did not fail, he finished the purifing works of a total salvation and gave it to mankind if they would accept it as their truth.

No where does it say that God dwells in your hearts, God says that he discerns our hearts, and sent christ to circumsize our hearts.
Jesus succeded on saving the Men that God has given him.
What does mankind have to accept?
When your falling and someone catches you, is it because you chose to be saved from falling to your death?  or is it because by grace you were saved?

John 15:3 and all of the fifteenth chapter is what the words and love of Jesus/God have for us if we let them abide in us. If they are somewhere else and need to come from somewhere then they are not here for you. Yet, they are here, now, in you, if you believe. IMO, TK

I didn't call myself good. Jesus said we all are, if we let his words rule who we really are, I just believed him.

Dude, belief comes from Knowing him, it all comes from him.
Jesus never said we were all good.  Jesus acutally said “why call me good, only the father in heaven in Good”

Man, this is all your speculation bro. your belief, but not biblical truth.
    Consider what i have said.

    Dennison,

You made an excellent point with John 7:24.
