Isaih 14:9 says this:”  Hell from beneath is excited about you, To meet you at your coming, It stirs up the dead for you. All the chief ones of the earth: It has raised up their thrones
All  the Kings of the nation.

verse 10 They all speak to you.  Have you also become so weak as we. Have you become like us?

verse 11  Your pomp is brought down to Sheol , And the sound of your stringed instrument, The maggot is spread under you, And worms cover you.

verse 12 ” How you have fallen from heaven, O Lucifer, son of the morning!
How you are cut down to the ground,  You have weakend the nations!

verse 13 For you have said in your heart:” I will acend into heaven,
I will exalt my throne above the stars of God.

I will also sit on the mount of the congregation

On the farthest sides of the north:

I will acend above the heights of the clouds,

I will be like the Most High.

Question to you all is, who did fall from Heaven.  Jesus said
that nobody has ascended to heaven, except He who came from heaven. So IMO it could not be a man. It was Satan who fell from Heaven like Lightnimng, was it not?  So how can it be a man in these verses?

Yes that is true, I did not know where to put it, I thought by now somebody would have said something, O well. It is rather disappointing to me.

A possibility: It was Jesus that came from Heaven and(came down) fell to physical earth. Hell is where there is weeping and gnashing of teeth and pain and suffering. That surely describes the earth realm. All things written in the Law the Prophets and the Psalms were fulfilled in Jesus, Luke 24:44—Isaiah 14:3–in that day the Lord shall give rest,Jesus gave us rest—from the bondage of the oppressor (religious order of that time) Jesus broke the chains that bind—Jesus broke the staff and sceptre of the wicked (cruel religious order) that smote the people is wrath and anger. That religious order was the dead. They were dead in sin. v:9 the chief ones or chief priests ruling the people of God harshly. Not lifting a finger to help. Jesus came to end that old way and preach the NewCovenant way to God. Its within each person. That former religious world order, their pomp was brought down and they became weak.Believers are the chosen people of God. Out with the tithe, sacrifices, physical temple, physical church, new moons, sabbath days rules etc.! This is the day of the Lord. This is the Sabbath day. Today is the day of rest.
If you look at the prophets you can find Jesus and his finished work, the Kingdom of God within. All though the old writings, one is being destroyed and one is rising up. One is blessed and one is cursed. This is the new birth or born again to me. Our war is to find the Truth of God which is in this day, blessings, peace, comfort, righteousness, joy in the Lord, freedom from rules that bind, freedom from anyone controlling your life which is yours. Remember, Jesus is the
Truth, the devil, satin, demons are un-truth! Keep it simple. Peace in Christ, TK

…you can see Jesus in Isaiah if you screw your eyes up really tight and imagine hard, completely reinterpreting is as you go and ignoring all the 'prophecy' that does NOT match the gospel mythology.

    Hi Mrs:

    Quote
Isa 14:14 I will ascend above the heights of the clouds; I will be like the most High.

Isa 14:15 Yet thou shalt be brought down to hell, to the sides of the pit.

Isa 14:16 They that see thee shall narrowly look upon thee, [and] consider thee, [saying, Is] this the man that made the earth to tremble, that did shake kingdoms

Note that verse 16 specifically says that this is a man. The man that these verses of scripture are speaking of is the Kind of Babylon or Nebuchadnazzar.

    Quote
Isa 14:4 That thou shalt take up this proverb against the king of Babylon, and say, How hath the oppressor ceased! the golden city ceased!

Marty  If you look in Job 38:7 you will find that the morning stars are the Angels.  Lucifer is not a man, but an Angel, according to Job. The morning Stars shouted for joy, at the creation of the earth. The only one that ever fell from Heaven are the Angels.  1/3 of the Angels went with Satan in Rev. 12:4  there too the Angels are called the stars of Heaven. Do you believe that the stars are Gods Son?  Christ through the power of the Father created the Angels first, and all the fighting in Heaven took place before God created man.  I think that Isaiah 14 is misleading. Lucifer is only mentioned one time in the Bible, in Isaiah.  Today I will look Lucifer up in our Encyclopedia.  So I will get back with all, since there is so much confusion about this.

Hey Stu: Since you are sure you know my interpretation is incorrect you must know the correct interpretation of Isaiah 14:4! Or maybe you understand prophecy as well you understand Quantum Physics! To a natural man the things of the Spirit are foolishness. So be it! TK

Yes I know the correct interpretation of Isaiah. I do not claim to understand quantum physics.

I do not think there is any difference between how spiritual you and I are. You are a 'natural man' too, it is just your brain telling you that you have special powers that others don't.

Nebuchadrezzar is not one of the writer's favourite kings of Iraq.
