I will not judge anybody, that is God's job. God loves us all, and Jesus died for all. You need a mic if you want to join us.
Samuel said that He had a whole bunch, so if you ask him he might send you one, that is what He told me, after I had bought mine, tho.
Peace and Love Mrs.April 8, 2008 at 11:46 pm#86445seek and you will findParticipantSamuel! I just found out that you can't leave the server on for a long time without using it, I got kicked of. But I can go on again, no problem.
Hope to talk to you soon.
Mrs.April 9, 2008 at 3:53 am#86464Not3in1ParticipantHi Irene,
To be honest with ya, I'm pretty busy during the day. I pop in here for a few and then I'm out again. Even tonight I don't have much time to stay, we had a long baseball night (my son hit one over the fence and stopped the whole game – yahoo – I danced in the stands and everyone came over to congratulate my husband and I – it was so much fun. My son can't sleep because he's so excited from the game! Some kids went over the fence to retreive the ball and ask him to sign it. Goodness, what a night! )
Usually I come on at night when everyone is sleeping, so talking into a mic would be a bit disturbing to the family. Thanks anyway though. I enjoy “chatting” you with you all here through blogs.
April 9, 2008 at 5:48 am#86476seek and you will findParticipantMandy! Congratulations, yes I know what fun that is. Our Oldest Grandson is a Baseball Coach. He had gotten a Scholarship for Baseball. He is teaching High School Math. and is a Coach in Knoxville, Tenn. right now. When His wife gets Her Doctrine in Physiology, they both will come back Home to teach in the High they attended and He will be coaching on the same Team He started out. They are were well organized and our Son is so proud of Him, and so are we.
Enjoy all why you can time goes so fast, before you know it, your old. I am going to be 70 on July 6, that will be a big one. My Husband will be 71 on August the third.
So you are youngster to us.
I wish you all the best for you future. May God be with you all.
Peace and Love IreneApril 9, 2008 at 3:52 pm#86504Not3in1ParticipantHey Irene,
You must be young-at-heart because most 70 year olds that I know have no interest in learning how to operate the computer. Besides, today's 70 is the new 60! I'm going to be 40 in May and I'm going to celebrate by running my last marathon. My knees are showing signs of arthritis and I just can't keep going the way I have been. Not if I want to continue to be active. Yes, getting old has it's disadvantages. I envy the young women who are so quick and can run with much less effort than myself. And you're right, the years pass by so quickly. I try to breathe in every moment – I really do.
Love you and how is your husband doing?
MandyApril 9, 2008 at 4:53 pm#86505seek and you will findParticipantMandy! You are going to be 40 years old, you are still young. If you are starting with Arthritis all ready now, please take care of yourself and don't work to hard. Get all the information you can on Arthritis. Education on Arthritis is very important. I wish I would have. And watch not to take to many Steroids, they have ruined my Skin and Nervous System. Some or most Doctors will want to give you as the Medication for it. But going the natural way is better. Find out what you are allergic to, if you are stay away from it. Foods are some big enemy of Us that have Arthritis. Diet Cokes and all diet drinks are bad. Check it all out. Don't forget to exercise the area where your Arthritis is, all is balance. I was a fool to overdo it in so many area's of my life and I have told our children, don't have to many Children that you can't effort. Most of all get a good education and all our Grandchildren are doing it, which I am happy about. Sorry I am just rattling on and on about all.
My Husbands Surgery is next Tuesday, I try not to think to much about that and have put all in God's Hand's.
What makes it so bad for me, is that I can't go with Him. Somebody has to watch our Grandson. And I do not drive anymore. Waiting on all is the hardest. We have excepted what ever comes our way. We know we have to die of something. I just do not know what I would do without my loving Husband. He has been the best thing that has ever happened to me. We have been married 47 years and would love to celebrate our 50th and hope we will make it. Boy oh boy did we ever get of the subject, oh well. Hope nobody cares.
Love you lots too.

I especially liked the advice: don't have too many children you can't afford!

I hope there are no Catholics around, they don't believe in Birth- Control, and that is why we ended up having 4 children. It is so sad that people get deceived in so many area's of their lives.
You have a nice day too
Love IreneApril 9, 2008 at 6:25 pm#86511Not3in1ParticipantMy husband is #9/9 in a Catholic family. His mother was so cute (she died several years ago), she used to tell me, “Kid, we would have had even more babies, but after Dan we ran out of material.”

April 10, 2008 at 4:49 am#86599LightenupParticipantHi Irene and Mandy and Samuel,
Irene you are too funny with your birth control humor. I should have met you about 5 kids ago Truthfully tho, I would have each one of them again. They are my wealth and God has faithfully provided for our one income family. Thrift store clothes are cooooool don't ya know? Also, cars with dents in them give them character:)Samuel, thanks for setting up this talking thing. I'm like Mandy, I have to be quiet when I am on here at night and during the day there is often a kid or two or three all making some sort of noise. I would like to hear your voices. Do I have to have a microphone to listen to you?
Mandy, I'm like you, spending alot of time on bleachers these days. Yesterday my husband went to the track meet with son #4 while I went to the softball game with child #5 and then we both met up at the soccer game of #3. After that we put together a pizza party for some of my sons fanclub. It is never dull. We repeat the whole thing a couple of times a week. So, maybe the birth control advise should include not having more than the number of events that you can get to in one dayG'nite!

Amen, sister! And I only have two. But even so, tonight I was at my daughter's softball practice while my son's practice started 15 minutes before hers ended (and the field was 15 minutes away to boot!). I'm thinking carpool.April 10, 2008 at 5:12 am#86607LightenupParticipantHey Mandy,
Are you charging for this taxi service? If I was, I'd be rich but then again I would have to drive passengers that could actually pay me. G'nite for real this time:)April 10, 2008 at 5:18 am#86609seek and you will findParticipantQuote (Lightenup @ April 10 2008,16:49) Hi Irene and Mandy and Samuel,

You Guy's are too funny. Birth control for Baseball Games, good idea. i have gone to so many I can't count them anymore. We have one Grandson and Granddaughter left that do Sports Not done yet. Maybe that is why I am still here. When I was 40 and I got Lupus, the Doctor had told me that Lupus Patients lifespan is 15-20 year. I thought that's O.K. by the time I am 60 I'll be dead. I am turning 70 in July. I am not done living I am to honorary( I got that from best friend, who is resting)
As far as the Ventrilo Server is concerned, yes you do need a Mic. Samuel had said that He has several of them, and He would have send me one, but I had already bought one. They are $24.00 and $30.00 dollars. I bought mine at Best Buy.
It really would be nice to hear your voices. It does not take that much time. We can set up time at Midnight, just talk softly. Or at a time when the Kids would still be up, I would like that. They would get a kick out of that too, I am sure. Well can I change your minds, Mandy and Lightenup?( Can I use your real name some time or do you want that to be kept private?)Peace and Love Irene
April 10, 2008 at 5:26 am#86610Not3in1ParticipantTo be honest it sounds too complicated. Not the buying of the mic and setting it up, but chosing a time and then following through. Because my time is so spoken-for the majority of the time, coming here is always a restful thing that I do for myself. I think being in a live discussion would take that relaxing part away from the experience. Not that I wouldn't want to talk with you, but just that blogging is different than having real time conversations.
Hey sis, I'm sorry you've lost your best friend. That's so sad to be without her I bet. I have several girlfriends that are close to me and I can't imagine losing any of them. But I guess nothing is for sure or secure, and we must enjoy and love those dear to us as if there is no tomorrow.
April 10, 2008 at 5:55 am#86611seek and you will findParticipantMandy! My friend died 2 years ago. I miss Her so much. The day I found out I was sitting by myself in my room, when I was thinking of Her. It was like She was in the Room with me. Her Spirit was so real, I just don't know what to think about that. It happened to other friends that died too, but not to that extent. I do believe in the Spirit World. Do we go to Heaven when we die, that is the question. My Husband does not believe that strongly and thinks that nobody has gone to Heaven, and I guess He thinks that Satan is playing tricks on me, even tho He would never say so. So what do you think Mandy? I remember you saying something about that Spirit world before. I just can't see that Satan would have so much Love. I am glad though that there is a tomorrow and I will see them all again.
Better sooner then later for me. I know that you want to live yet and enjoy your Family and that I certainly understand. But I also believe that time is short and Jesus will come soon. Going through the Tribulation is not going to be a picnic. If you look at our Country how low the dollar is etc. makes me just a little uneasy. Time will tell. I guess I better stop for tonight, it is getting late.
Goodnight and I love you
All the best to you and yours. IreneApril 10, 2008 at 8:48 am#86630SamuelParticipantYou don't have to “Choose” a time
If your on posting…turn on your voice…if no one is on…oh well…if they are then super!
Its not something that you have to plan to do.
I've just noticed that from time to time there are people on that I would much rather chat live with that are on the same time I'm on.
April 11, 2008 at 5:39 pm#86791seek and you will findParticipantSamuel Nice talking to you last night. It worked perfect. i was rather surprised how clear that was. And you can talk without spending a dime, to others around the World. But you have to be a member of Heaven Net, since it is under Heaven Net. It has surprised me that nobody else wants to participate. It would be so neat.
Peace and Love Mrs.
P.S. And you would do an old Lady a big favor. You can talk for hours or just minutes just what you want. Oh well if not then it is not meant to be.April 11, 2008 at 5:43 pm#86792Not3in1ParticipantSis,
I would rather give you my home number and chat with you over tea and folding laundry!
Have a good day, I'm off to tackle the laundry pile (I hate doing laundry – it was my chore as a kid).
