Wedding in Cana
Jn 2:1 On the third day a wedding took place at Cana in Galilee. Jesus’ mother was there,Jn 2:2 and Jesus and his disciples had also been invited to the wedding.
Jn 2:3 When the wine was gone, Jesus’ mother said to him, “They have no more wine.”
Jn 2:4 “Dear woman, why do you involve me?” Jesus replied. “My time has not yet come.”
THIS WAS NOT THE WEDDING OF CHRIST ,THIS IS WHY HE SAID “MY TIME HAS NOT YET COME”Jn 2:5 His mother said to the servants, “Do whatever he tells you.”
ALSO BY THIS REQUEST JESUS MOTHER RECOGNIZE THAT JESUS WAS THE CHRIST AND THE SON OF GOD(Jesus was not in the business to make wine nor sell some)Jn 2:6 Nearby stood six stone water jars, the kind used by the Jews for ceremonial
washing, each holding from twenty to thirty gallons.Mk 7:3 (The Pharisees and all the Jews do not eat unless they give their hands a ceremonial washing, holding to the tradition of the elders;;
THERE WAS ONLY SIX BECAUSE ON THE SABBATH THEY DO NOTHING,
THIS WATER WAS TO PURIFY THE JEWS HANDSJn 2:7 Jesus said to the servants, “Fill the jars with water”; so they filled them to the brim.
Jn 2:8 Then he told them, “Now draw some out and take it to the master of the banquet.”
They did so,JESUS SAID TO FULL UP ALL THE JARS ( this was approximate 6x25gal=150 gall x4l =600 litters
Jn 2:9 and the master of the banquet tasted the water that had been turned into wine. He did not realize where it had come from, though the servants who had drawn the water knew. Then he called the bridegroom aside
NOTICE IT WAS THE WATER IN THE POT TO SERVE THAT WAS CHANGED INTO WINE,NOT THE SIX JARS.(it so with scriptures as well you full yourself up to the rim in your earth and so the wisdom of God and understanding as changed you .)
Mt 13:52 He said to them, “Therefore every teacher of the law who has been instructed about the kingdom of heaven is like the owner of a house who brings out of his storeroom new treasures as well as old.”
Jn 2:10 and said, “Everyone brings out the choice wine first and then the cheaper wine after the guests have had too much to drink; but you have saved the best till now.”
THIS TO ELUSTRATE WHAT WAS TO COME OUT OF THE WRITTEN WORD OF GOD,FROM NOW ON
Lk 5:39 And no one after drinking old wine wants the new, for he says, ‘The old is better
Jn 2:11 This, the first of his miraculous signs, Jesus performed at Cana in Galilee. He thus
revealed his glory, and his disciples put their faith in HimPierre

What are you asking us to say?Mary knew the promise that was on her son.
She was anxious for him to start 'showing off',..this was his chance to 'magic' up something…
Notice that it was with an 'inanimate' article, water, that the miracle was performed. It simply involved fooling the senses like hypnotist's do when they get people to eat raw onions believing them to be apples…
Ok, Jesus didn't hypnotise anyone. The point was that it was a minor miracle, an opening salvo across the bows of human society. Jesus even said, 'My time has not yet come' but to appease 'the woman' he did this thing.Notice that 'the woman' didn't bat an eyelid when Jesus admonished her, but went straight on to say, 'Whatever he says you shoud do'…what an arm twister.
Mary had been waiting for years expecting Jesus to 'perform' because she had been told by the Angel that he would.

anything that Jesus ever did during the time between his baptism and his dead is all in accord of God s will,
and so is significant.
