hi
Ps 18:30 As for God, his way is perfect;
the word of the LORD is flawless.
He is a shield
for all who take refuge in him.
Jn 6:32 Jesus said to them, “I tell you the truth, it is not Moses who has given you the bread from heaven, but it is my Father who gives you the true bread from heavenJn 5:36 “I have testimony weightier than that of John. For the very work that the Father has given me to finish, and which I am doing, testifies that the Father has sent me.
Jn 5:39 You diligently study the Scriptures because you think that by them you possess eternal life. These are the Scriptures that testify about me,
Jn 5:40 yet you refuse to come to me to have life.Jn 5:47 But since you do not believe what he wrote, how are you going to believe what I say?”
Jn 6:45 It is written in the Prophets: ‘They will all be taught by God.’ Everyone who listens to the Father and learns from him comes to me
Jn 7:15 The Jews were amazed and asked, “How did this man get such learning without having studied?”
Jn 7:16 Jesus answered, “My teaching is not my own. It comes from him who sent me.
Jn 7:17 If anyone chooses to do God’s will, he will find out whether my teaching comes from God or whether I speak on my ownDecember 30, 2009 at 4:17 am#167101terrariccaParticipanthi
Jn 8:47 He who belongs to God hears what God says. The reason you do not hear is that you do not belong to God.”
Jn 9:4 As long as it is day, we must do the work of him who sent me. Night is coming, when no one can work.Jn 19:30 When he had received the drink, Jesus said, “It is finished.” With that, he bowed his head and gave up his spirit
Jn 20:22 And with that he breathed on them and said, “Receive the Holy Spirit.
Jn 20:23 If you forgive anyone his sins, they are forgiven; if you do not forgive them, they are not forgivenAc 1:4 On one occasion, while he was eating with them, he gave them this command: “Do not leave Jerusalem, but wait for the gift my Father promised, which you have heard me speak about.
Ac 1:5 For John baptized with water, but in a few days you will be baptized with the Holy Spirit.”
Ac 1:8 But you will receive power when the Holy Spirit comes on you; and you will be my witnesses in Jerusalem, and in all Judea and Samaria, and to the ends of the earth.”December 30, 2009 at 4:21 am#167102terrariccaParticipanthi
Heb 2:1 We must pay more careful attention, therefore, to what we have heard, so that we do not drift away.
Heb 2:2 For if the message spoken by angels was binding, and every violation and disobedience received its just punishment,
Heb 2:3 how shall we escape if we ignore such a great salvation? This salvation, which was first announced by the Lord, was confirmed to us by those who heard him.
Heb 2:4 God also testified to it by signs, wonders and various miracles, and gifts of the Holy Spirit distributed according to his will.December 30, 2009 at 4:48 am#167104terrariccaParticipanthi
Pr 8:1 Does not wisdom call out?
Does not understanding raise her voice?
Pr 8:2 On the heights along the way,
where the paths meet, she takes her stand;
Pr 8:3 beside the gates leading into the city,
at the entrances, she cries aloud:
Pr 8:4 “To you, O men, I call out;
I raise my voice to all mankind.
Pr 8:5 You who are simple, gain prudence;
you who are foolish, gain understanding.
Pr 8:6 Listen, for I have worthy things to say;
I open my lips to speak what is right.
Pr 8:7 My mouth speaks what is true,
for my lips detest wickedness.
Pr 8:8 All the words of my mouth are just;
none of them is crooked or perverse.
Pr 8:9 To the discerning all of them are right;
they are faultless to those who have knowledge.
Pr 8:10 Choose my instruction instead of silver,
knowledge rather than choice gold,
Pr 8:11 for wisdom is more precious than rubies,
and nothing you desire can compare with her.Pr 8:12 “I, wisdom, dwell together with prudence;
I possess knowledge and discretion.
Pr 8:13 To fear the LORD is to hate evil;
I hate pride and arrogance,
evil behavior and perverse speech.
Pr 8:14 Counsel and sound judgment are mine;
I have understanding and power.
Pr 8:15 By me kings reign
and rulers make laws that are just;
Pr 8:16 by me princes govern,
and all nobles who rule on earth.
Pr 8:17 I love those who love me,
and those who seek me find me.
Pr 8:18 With me are riches and honor,
enduring wealth and prosperity.
Pr 8:19 My fruit is better than fine gold;
what I yield surpasses choice silver.
Pr 8:20 I walk in the way of righteousness,
along the paths of justice,
Pr 8:21 bestowing wealth on those who love me
and making their treasuries full.Pr 8:22 “The LORD brought me forth as the first of his works,
before his deeds of old;
Pr 8:23 I was appointed from eternity,
from the beginning, before the world began.
Pr 8:24 When there were no oceans, I was given birth,
when there were no springs abounding with water;
Pr 8:25 before the mountains were settled in place,
before the hills, I was given birth,
Pr 8:26 before he made the earth or its fields
or any of the dust of the world.
Pr 8:27 I was there when he set the heavens in place,
when he marked out the horizon on the face of the deep,
Pr 8:28 when he established the clouds above
and fixed securely the fountains of the deep,Jn 1:1 In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God.
Jn 1:2 He was with God in the beginning.
Jn 1:3 Through him all things were made; without him nothing was made that has been made.
Jn 1:4 In him was life, and that life was the light of men.
Jn 1:5 The light shines in the darkness, but the darkness has not understood it.
Jn 1:6 There came a man who was sent from God; his name was John.
Jn 1:7 He came as a witness to testify concerning that light, so that through him all men might believe.
Jn 1:8 He himself was not the light; he came only as a witness to the light.
Jn 1:9 The true light that gives light to every man was coming into the world.
Jn 1:10 He was in the world, and though the world was made through him, the world did not recognize him
Pr 8:29 when he gave the sea its boundary
so the waters would not overstep his command,
and when he marked out the foundations of the earth.
Pr 8:30 Then I was the craftsman at his side.
I was filled with delight day after day,
rejoicing always in his presence,
Pr 8:31 rejoicing in his whole world
and delighting in mankind.Pr 8:32 “Now then, my sons, listen to me;
blessed are those who keep my ways.
Pr 8:33 Listen to my instruction and be wise;
do not ignore it.
Pr 8:34 Blessed is the man who listens to me,
watching daily at my doors,
waiting at my doorway.
Pr 8:35 For whoever finds me finds life
and receives favor from the LORD.
Pr 8:36 But whoever fails to find me harms himself;
all who hate me love death.”Jn 12:25 The man who loves his life will lose it, while the man who hates his life in this world will keep it for eternal life.
Jn 12:26 Whoever serves me must follow me; and where I am, my servant also will be. My Father will honor the one who serves meCol 2:2 My purpose is that they may be encouraged in heart and united in love, so that they may have the full riches of complete understanding, in order that they may know the mystery of God, namely, Christ,
Col 2:3 in whom are hidden all the treasures of wisdom and knowledgePhil 2:4 Each of you should look not only to your own interests, but also to the interests of others.
Phil 2:5 Your attitude should be the same as that of Christ Jesus:
Phil 2:6 Who, being in very nature God,
did not consider equality with God something to be grasped,
Phil 2:7 but made himself nothing,
taking the very nature of a servant,
being made in human likeness.
Phil 2:8 And being found in appearance as a man,
he humbled himself
and became obedient to death—
even death on a cross!
Phil 2:9 Therefore God exalted him to the highest place
and gave him the name that is above every name,
Phil 2:10 that at the name of Jesus every knee should bow,
in heaven and on earth and under the earth,
Phil 2:11 and every tongue confess that Jesus Christ is Lord,
to the glory of God the FatherDecember 30, 2009 at 4:55 am#167106terrariccaParticipanthi
Job 42:2 “I know that you can do all things;
no plan of yours can be thwarted.
Job 42:3 You asked, ‘Who is this that obscures my counsel without knowledge?’
Surely I spoke of things I did not understand,
things too wonderful for me to knowJob 1:6 One day the angels came to present themselves before the LORD, and Satan also came with them.
Job 1:7 The LORD said to Satan, “Where have you come from?”
Satan answered the LORD, “From roaming through the earth and going back and forth in it.”
Job 1:8 Then the LORD said to Satan, “Have you considered my servant Job? There is no one on earth like him; he is blameless and upright, a man who fears God and shuns evil.”
Job 1:9 “Does Job fear God for nothing?” Satan replied.
Job 1:10 “Have you not put a hedge around him and his household and everything he has? You have blessed the work of his hands, so that his flocks and herds are spread throughout the land.
Job 1:11 But stretch out your hand and strike everything he has, and he will surely curse you to your face.”Mt 4:1 Then Jesus was led by the Spirit into the desert to be tempted by the devil.
Mt 4:2 After fasting forty days and forty nights, he was hungry.
Mt 4:3 The tempter came to him and said, “If you are the Son of God, tell these stones to become bread.”
Mt 4:4 Jesus answered, “It is written: ‘Man does not live on bread alone, but on every word that comes from the mouth of God.’’”
Mt 4:5 Then the devil took him to the holy city and had him stand on the highest point of the temple.
Mt 4:6 “If you are the Son of God,” he said, “throw yourself down. For it is written:
“ ‘He will command his angels concerning you,
and they will lift you up in their hands,
so that you will not strike your foot against a stone.’’”
Mt 4:7 Jesus answered him, “It is also written: ‘Do not put the Lord your God to the test.’’”
Mt 4:8 Again, the devil took him to a very high mountain and showed him all the kingdoms of the world and their splendor.
Mt 4:9 “All this I will give you,” he said, “if you will bow down and worship me.”
Mt 4:10 Jesus said to him, “Away from me, Satan! For it is written: ‘Worship the Lord your God, and serve him only.’’”
Mt 4:11 Then the devil left him, and angels came and attended himDecember 30, 2009 at 5:11 am#167110terrariccaParticipanthi
Rev 3:14 “To the angel of the church in Laodicea write:
These are the words of the Amen, the faithful and true witness, the ruler of God’s creation
Rev 5:11 Then I looked and heard the voice of many angels, numbering thousands upon thousands, and ten thousand times ten thousand. They encircled the throne and the living creatures and the elders.

Rev 5:12 In a loud voice they sang:
“Worthy is the Lamb, who was slain,
to receive power and wealth and wisdom and strength
and honor and glory and praise!”Rev 5:6 Then I saw a Lamb, looking as if it had been slain, standing in the center of the throne, encircled by the four living creatures and the elders. He had seven horns and seven eyes, which are the seven spirits of God sent out into all the earth.
Rev 5:7 He came and took the scroll from the right hand of him who sat on the throne.December 30, 2009 at 6:22 pm#167215terrariccaParticipanthi
Mt 10:34 “Do not suppose that I have come to bring peace to the earth. I did not come to bring peace, but a swordLk 8:10 He said, “The knowledge of the secrets of the kingdom of God has been given to you, but to others I speak in parables, so that,
“ ‘though seeing, they may not see;
though hearing, they may not understand.’
Lk 8:11 “This is the meaning of the parable: The seed is the word of God.
Lk 8:12 Those along the path are the ones who hear, and then the devil comes and takes away the word from their hearts, so that they may not believe and be saved.
Lk 8:13 Those on the rock are the ones who receive the word with joy when they hear it, but they have no root. They believe for a while, but in the time of testing they fall away.
Lk 8:14 The seed that fell among thorns stands for those who hear, but as they go on their way they are choked by life’s worries, riches and pleasures, and they do not mature.
Lk 8:15 But the seed on good soil stands for those with a noble and good heart, who hear the word, retain it, and by persevering produce a cropLk 24:25 He said to them, “How foolish you are, and how slow of heart to believe all that the prophets have spoken!
Lk 24:26 Did not the Christ have to suffer these things and then enter his glory?”Tit 2:11 For the grace of God that brings salvation has appeared to all men.
Tit 2:12 It teaches us to say “No” to ungodliness and worldly passions, and to live self-controlled, upright and godly lives in this present age,
Tit 2:13 while we wait for the blessed hope—the glorious appearing of our great God and Savior, Jesus Christ,
Tit 2:14 who gave himself for us to redeem us from all wickedness and to purify for himself a people that are his very own, eager to do what is good.
Tit 2:15 These, then, are the things you should teachDecember 30, 2009 at 10:01 pm#167251NickHassanParticipantHi T,
Good work.
My initial walk was greatly helped by a bible that had cross references to similar verses and I would follow a trail from one to another for hours finding treasures.December 30, 2009 at 10:35 pm#167267terrariccaParticipanthi nick

Lk 20:41 Then Jesus said to them, “How is it that they say the Christ is the Son of David?
Lk 20:42 David himself declares in the Book of Psalms:
“ ‘The Lord said to my Lord:
“Sit at my right hand
Lk 20:43 until I make your enemies
a footstool for your feet.”Rev 3:7 “To the angel of the church in Philadelphia write:
These are the words of him who is holy and true, who holds the key of David. What he opens no one can shut, and what he shuts no one can open.
Rev 3:7 “To the angel of the church in Philadelphia write:
These are the words of him who is holy and true, who holds the key of David. What he opens no one can shut, and what he shuts no one can open.
Rev 2:18 “To the angel of the church in Thyatira write:
These are the words of the Son of God, whose eyes are like blazing fire and whose feet are like burnished bronze.
Rev 2:12 “To the angel of the church in Pergamum write:
These are the words of him who has the sharp, double-edged sword
Rev 2:8 “To the angel of the church in Smyrna write:
These are the words of him who is the First and the Last, who died and came to life again
Rev 1:6 and has made us to be a kingdom and priests to serve his God and Father—to him be glory and power for ever and ever! Amen.

2Pe 1:20 Knowing this first, that no prophecy of the scripture is of any private interpretation.
2Pe 1:21 For the prophecy came not in old time by the will of man: but holy men of God spake as they were moved by the Holy Ghost.December 31, 2009 at 6:43 am#167436terrariccaParticipanthi
Joh 10:34 Jesus answered them, Is it not written in your law, I said, Ye are gods?
Joh 10:35 If he called them gods, unto whom the word of God came, and the scripture cannot be broken;Psa 82:6 I have said, Ye are gods; and all of you are children of the most High.
Psa 82:7 But ye shall die like men, and fall like one of the princes.this can be understand for Israel was the nation on witch the God almighty was dwelling and they were gods to the rest of the world .

Check the context of Ps 82.
Either way men can be called gods without them being the GODDecember 31, 2009 at 4:08 pm#167479terrariccaParticipanthi
Exo 4:14 And the anger of the LORD was kindled against Moses, and he said, Is not Aaron the Levite thy brother? I know that he can speak well. And also, behold, he cometh forth to meet thee: and when he seeth thee, he will be glad in his heart.
Exo 4:15 And thou shalt speak unto him, and put words in his mouth: and I will be with thy mouth, and with his mouth, and will teach you what ye shall do.
Exo 4:16 And he shall be thy spokesman unto the people: and he shall be, even he shall be to thee instead of a mouth, and thou shalt be to him instead of God.in the same way Moses became god to his brother,the nation of Israel was to the rest of the world.
the same way the apostles became gods to the world,just like Moses,but never any of them were GOD the Father or the SON Jesus christ.December 31, 2009 at 9:30 pm#167562terrariccaParticipanthi
Lam 1:10 The adversary hath spread out his hand upon all her pleasant things: for she hath seen that the heathen entered into her sanctuary, whom thou didst command that they should not enter into thy congregation.
this is the adversary of God as taken the truth for is own advantage.

I realise you put a lot of effort into putting up all the scriptures; but I'm lost because, what is it that you were trying to accomplish, or trying to bring across?

i try to help to see into the scriptures how to acquire understanding ,but the kind of understanding you will find will depend how you approached the word of God ,you know that even at the end wen Christ got raised to heaven some had doubts,January 2, 2010 at 11:05 pm#168266terrariccaParticipanthi georg
